The ability to build landing pages easily
Not enough functionalities. Could be more.
Too early to tell
The thing I like best about Instapage is how easy the platform is to use.
The thing I dislike most about Instapage is how difficult it can be to access the lead notifications. If I go to leads, I have to click back into the landing page and then click the experience. We always use the default experience.
The problem we are solving is to create landing pages for our clients with the use of templates.
Easy to use with minimal engineering involvement, templates give great results, very user friendly
It's more expensive than competitors...but it's a great product
We are using Instapage to test different landing page content to drive registrations without needing to make significant changes to our main website
The drag and drop interface makes it simple for anyone on the team to use.
Challenging to integrate with some CRMs.
Time to landing page construction was reduced to hours from weeks, enabling us to get our campaigns in market much more quickly.
Instapage support is typically very responsive and helpful. The Experience Manager is intuitive and easy to use.
Some of the tracking features need to be updated.
Campaign performance has improved significantly with the use of landing pages.
I like the ease with which we can create and test new landing pages.
There are no gridlines to help with spacing and centering things, and the platform can be glitchy. Sometimes it shows up differently on different mobile devices, which is frustrating. There is also no way to automate utms, which is also very frustrating.
We are improving conversion rates by using instapage to test landing pages, CTAs, and press spots.
easy to use, drag and drop integration with MailChimp and webhooks
not customizable in html css and script code it would be great if you could access the code
quick landing pages for lead generation
Ease of creating and managing multiple landing pages for us and our clients.
Now? The price and the ability to reorganize sites easily.
Provides an easy way to create great looking landing pages that integrate well with many other platforms.
The basic tier has good features. The support team is great too. I really dig the drag and drop functionally. So easy to use.
In the lowest tier, I'd love to see some split testing functionality.
Doing my best to turn ad clicks into conversions.
Instapage is extremely easy to get started with. There are hundreds of fully developed templates that you can use as a starting point.
There's often a lag time when you're moving graphics around on a page or waiting for another kind of edit to take place, to the point that sometimes I have to take my hands off the keyboard and wait or I'll end up stacking commands. Unlike other landing page services, you're limited to a fairly small usable space and end up with a lot of filler background on the right and left sides of your pages on a widescreen monitor. I don't like the way it handles layout and editing of mobile page versions--nothing shows up in sensible size or order, and you can't ungroup elements on the mobile side, so their tech support told me essentially "use grouping to lock elements on the regular page, get them where you want them, then go through and UNLOCK EVERY GROUP so you can manipulate the elements on mobile. Which is time-consuming. And the lead forms are inexplicably gigantic on mobile and there's no way to control the size. Another weird graphic issue is that you can't resize an image to a specific dimension--you can only drag the edges to resize, and it is often truly impossible to get an image that ought to fit the workspace exactly to actually hit the edges. And, on the actual pages displayed to people, the selection order is weird: if you want to select and copy a few blocks of text on the screen, chances are good that you can't select items in the order in which they appear. This may have to do with WHEN you added each element to the page or if you moved something around, but it's still wack that you can't just select and copy contiguous elements to the clipboard every single time.
It's very fast and easy to set up quick custom landing pages for different campaigns. I know I've listed a lot of things that I dislike but it is really easy to use and track and make changes.
Creating a nice and an effective landing page has never been easier. Thanks to many build in features and a possibility to easily adapt a page with HTML code, you can create an amazing landing page that will give an extra value to your business. One of the things that I like the most about Instapage is a very helpful customer service. Instapage team replies quickly and in detail explains possible ways to work out a solution for the submitted issues.
I wish Instapage provided more build in tools in order to improve a page design e.g. an image slider. I have also noticed some glitches in the pictures display, it happens very often that once a page is published it doesn't show pictures correctly (they move, only half of a picture appears, a picture has a black frame around). I also wish Instapage was more mobile responsive (e.g. a background picture) or provided more customization options for it.
I use Instapage to create landing pages as a marketing tool in order to generate more leads.
I like not having to worry about html/css. It's also great that they have a library to store your images, easy to use tools such as buttons, videos, and background images and overlays.
I know this is a landing page tool but I don't like to be restricted to two fonts, and content can't go beyond a certain point on the page (around the edges of the site) which I understand is a responsive solution but it would be nice to have that option. It's also hard to design the mobile side of things
Quick turn around landing pages is a snap and the instapage team is very responsive to whatever questions I have.
Drag & drop as well as uploading. Creating web pages is easy
Some elements aren’t as straight forward to customize as they could be (most elements are very straight forward).
Mobile versions of your pages can be edited specifically for mobile users, rather than relying on an auto responsive version.
Instapage is very easy to use and offers many resources on how to best use their product.
It can be slightly difficult to integrate the pages into your webpage host, but it wouldn't dissuade me from using it again.
We used it to drive potential customers to sign up for free resources. Instapage helps make clear CTAs that increased registration.
The drop and drag approach to implement something new. The good and relatively swift support.
The relatively high price for not so many functions (e.g. only 2 landing pages allowed in the medium package). The fact that I can not easily make "subpages" (meaning inserting a link on the first page leading to another page, e.g. a blog page, imprint page, team page etc.)
I honestly don't understand the question: what is our company solving or what problems are we solving by using instapage? And realized benefits for us? Well, we have a landing page now.
The tech support was incredibly helpful in identifying and solving issues. We used this site as a replacement for squarespace. It's more secure, which is a major win.
There are lots of little things that feel backward. The requirement for a subdomain is frustrating. The SSL certificate didn't automatically populate as intended. Odd bits of code became uneditable after publishing and required a strange workaround to repair.
Our main problem that instapage solved was around clarity of the impact of the log4j issue on their service. We'd used squarespace prior, but despite numerous attempts, their support team refused to provide the details required to ensure there would be no issues. We were quickly able to standup the new site with instapage.
Ease of setup when creating account and setting up pages.
SEO features and technical issues weren't up to par. Found that it was creating random url strings based off our subdomain.
Getting landing pages up and fast for our various campaign requirements. Much better than Webflow.
Decent page speed. Good page stability. Good templates. Good support. Collaborative commenting features and built-in heat maps are a nice benefit.
1. The entire A/B testing UX is very strange and limiting. From my experience with 5 other systems allowing A/B testing - this is the least convenient to use. 2. The ability to change the mobile design to be different than the desktop design is very limited. 3. Does not allow to "copy-paste" between pages - instead forcing you to save anything you want to copy as a "block" to an internal library. This isn't just much more attention and time consuming, it is also not possible to move between different workspaces without paying for the "enterprise version".
I am using this for creating landing pages for all sorts of marketing campaigns.
The best part of Instapage is how quickly and easily you can build pages and edit mobile. Two step forms were seamless and worked well for some clients.
Integrations usually didn’t work for our clients which caused a lot of issues. There aren’t a lot of custom codes you can add to a page that will actually work. The experiments tab is very consolidate, you can’t edit or view your variants unless through the experiments tab. Unable to view a particular variant live which makes it difficult to quality check. The heat maps feature didn’t work.
Two step forms kept visitors on the same page and worked well for some clients.
The new "Blocks" style template that allows you to save blocks that you would use frequently.
It's not as easy to publish pages anymore. You have to go back to a home page and click publish. Also, you used to be able to integrate multiple platforms but now you can only integrate with one.
Instapage makes it really easy to design creative and professional landing pages for your business.
