We have been blown away by the level of support and reliability Kinsta offers. From the very beginning, their team was responsive and helpful, answering all of our questions and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. On a small dev team having Kinsta on our side made all the difference.

We started using Kinsta early on during their growth phase, so as they implemented new tools/services there were times we needed to take some time to monitor our sites were still up and running. Thankfully everything went smoothly.

We're a small dev team who started off self-hosting. After many attempts we found it best to go with a managed hosting service. Kinsta continues to save us hours of dev time and headaches.

Pricing is little to the expensive side. But you get what you paid for. So I'm happy with the pricing. Apart from that there is not much to dislike about kinsta.

It would be great if they were a bit lower in price but the service and quality somewhat justify their costs. Update (2/25/23): I changed kinsta's score from 9 to a 10. I believe that they are worth the extra cost. They have, over the past 8 months, delivered amazing customer service and helped with any bumps in the road. Their security automatically detected and removed malware from one of my sites. They were even helpful in moving one of my many sites to a different host. They've come through time and time again and I couldn't recommend them more highly!

Customer support you just can not beat it. No other company has ever been on the ball like they are and the staff are actual techs and not just script readers

I really don't have anything I really dislike. Yes it's more expensive then others but the customer support is worth every penny and my sites knock on wood are always online none of the 99% uptime bs you get with other companies.

I needed a custom hosting solution for two dynamic Wordpress websites with specific needs and they came up with a great solution for me at a fair price too.

1) Customer support is truly a cut above, both in terms of the knowledge of the techs and their willingness to go the extra mile to help solve customer problems. 2) Makes setup of core SEO items easy without the need for plugins e.g. built-in redirects tool, find & replace tool, force HTTPS, etc. 3) Sites actually do load faster than its competitors

As an SEO consultant, Kinsta's redirect tool is particularly important to me. While there's much to love, there are also things that could be improved for advanced users. My two big peeves: 1) The sequence in which redirects are listed can matter in order to avoid redirect conflicts. With Kinsta's tool, the order that redirects appear in the user interface is not the order that they appear in the Nginx config file (the latter one determines the actual order as far as the server is concerned). Because of this, every time I want to add an individual redirect I have no control over where it is positioned among the other redirects in the list. On the other hand, when using the 'bulk import' tool, the redirect rules are placed in the Nginx config file in the same sequence that they are placed in the import file, which is how it should be. Therefore, every time I need to add a single new redirect rule, I feel the need to delete all redirects and do a fresh bulk import to ensure that all redirects are listed in the proper sequence... which requires the following steps: a) I add the new redirect to the complete list of redirect rules that I retain on my computer for each client, placing it in the desired position within the list. b) I 'copy' my full list of redirects from the file on my computer (waiting to be pasted in step e below). c) I 'select all' redirects within the Kinsta redirect tool, which is a pain when there are hundreds of redirects because Kinsta only displays 100 redirects per page... so I have to navigate to several pages and select all on each of them. d) I delete all existing redirects. e) I use the bulk import tool by pasting the full redirects list into the Kinsta tool that I copied in step b above. Suggestion: The above pain could be eliminated if Kinsta did the following: a) In the redirect tool, display all rules on one page (I don't mind if I have to wait a bot for a long page of rules to load). b) Have a drag & drop system for placing redirect rules in their desired sequence - and place them in this same sequence in the Nginx config file where the server reads them from. Doing the above things would mean I could add an individual redirect at any time and even if Kinsta places it at the top (which would make sense), I could then easily find it and move it to the desired position. Done -- I'd no longer have to go through all the steps to do a fresh bulk import as outlined above. Doing this would make Kinsta a 10/10 for me. Yes, it's that big a deal to serious SEO folks like me. (I know other advanced SEOs feel the same way). 2) Currently, the Kinsta redirect tool has no ability to handle redirects that contain query strings (i.w. parameters). Kinsta support has been great with adding such redirects for me to the appropriate config file, but those redirects won't appear in the user tool among the other redirects, so could easily be forgotten. Adding a user friendly option for adding new redirects that contain query strings would be very helpful. - - - WP Engine does all of the above, but on the flip side, they don't allow customers to do bulk imports of redirects themselves; you have to go through Kinsta support every time, which is a pain. Plus, the regex in redirect rules *often* get butchered after they bulk import them (which never happens with Kinsta, which is awesome). All this said, please don't wait for WP Engine to address their issues before you feel the *need* to improve Kinsta's redirect tool. Please keep being the leader you are and take the necessary steps to improve this tool sooner rather than later. Thank you! ================== Update Jan 29, 2023: ================== Some time after I wrote this initial review above, Kinsta made it so that you could bulk delete all redirects in one click, which was awesome! But in recent weeks they reverted back to the old system whereby you can only delete the redirects on one screen at a time... and there's only 10 per screen now - not 100. So if your site has (for example) 600 redirects (like many of my client sites do) then you have to go through 60 screens of 10 redirects each and delete the redirects on each of the 60 screens one at a time. This is an incredible pain and a huge waste of time - so much so that I instead contacted Kinsta support to do the bulk delete for me. I can't understand why Kinsta would make such a (seemingly) nonsensical decision to go in a direction that gives users less control and to instead have to rely on support to do such a task. I hope Kinsta is listening and changes it back to once again enable users to bulk delete all redirects in one shot - or to at least give users the option. Still love Kinsta but this is a potential deal-breaker for me, and for many advanced SEO consultants I'm sure (I've already heard from others who share my opinion).

Mainly solving clients hosting headaches. With Kinsta my clients are getting reliable hosting with awesome support, fast servers, great tools and reasonable pricing. Clients are happy that it's 'hassle-free' compared to other WP hosts.

Rock solid performance and featureset. Developer-friendly.

Nothing I can think of. Having utilised every solution on the market, there is no equal.

Hosting infrastructure is truly white-gloved, whilst retaining required configurability.
