The support at Kinsta has been amazing! I was worried about not having a phone number to call instantly, however, the chat support is beyond anything I've ever experienced before. Every chat has been quick, efficient and super helpful. It's very apparent that the staff cares about what they do and takes great pride in helping support customers. I only wish I would've switched hosting companies sooner!
The only thing that concerned me is that there is not a phone number to call for support. The chat has been super great - even in an emergency - however, it still does occassional make me nervous in those 'what if' situations.
Kinsta has solved several problems for us since switching from our previous hosting company. We no longer have random error messages popping up or have our website down for unknown reasons. When there is something not displaying properly, we're able to get assistance in correcting it quickly verses having to wait for days to get assistance and ultimately being the ones to fixing it ourselves anyways.
I love the speed. My wordpress website is loading as fast as never before. It's not even comparable with my previous provider. When I signed up, I had some technical questions and the team was able to help me super quickly.
The pricing is above what I was used to paying. With quality comes the appropriate price, I guess.

We came across to Kinsta from WPX after seeign recommendation on our wordpress theme's Facebook forums. Absolutely delighted with the performance speed and the CDN delivery is exceptional. Has boosted us from C/D in GT Metrix up to A, so well happy with this. Uptime is consistent and database speed is much better than previous hosts. Looking hopefully to move across some other sites at somepoint as they become due for renewal.
Havent really seen a downside, aside from no remote MySQL access availability, but can understand from a security point of view why this is in place.
Our previous hosts had performance issues with the database, plus a restriction on database size to under 1GB

The whole Kinsta architecture is perfectly tailored for Wordpress, the hosting structure, billing plans, resources and tools available, everything is very well thought for Wordpress performance and optimization, offering options to scale to any type and size of website or system. Even security is well taken care of at Kinsta. We have received several notices from Kinsta about plugin vulnerabilities and other security concerns, that we were able to tackle before any other service had warned us. Sometimes, a vulnerable plugin is announced by email from Kinsta, even before the Update notification shows up on our WP dashboard. And support is one of the biggest points for me. Agents are available 24/7 via Live Chat with absolute knowledge of any topic the user might ask. They can create custom rules on the server, offer new tools that may help with your demand, and they truly listen and look into your problem before providing the answer, which is usualy on point.
I can't see downsides about Kinsta, especially if compared with other hostings. It is better! But if I would list one suggestion, I wish there were more options for blocking an IPs and hostnames based on access logs (urls visited) and origin. Currently, as far as I know, we can block a request to a specific url or partial url, but other request from the same IP will go through. Common scanner bots that browse the internet looking for WP and system vulnerabilities usually hit our server, going through the Cloudflare and Kinsta's security rules and, although they find nothing, we would like to be able to create more advanced rules to ban those scanners and hostnames, once we identify that they tried to find a vulnerability in our server, whether they find it or not. This would help with bringing down the traffic and performance load on our hosting servers. Even with these suggestions in mind, the traffic and load on the servers stay far under the limit, but more intelligent and customizable blocking rules (something like fail2ban or rdns) would certainly be a good addition.
Kinsta has solved most of my Wordpress problems. I came from a history of 4 previous hosting experiences, with several websites, and only when I joined Kista did I realize that most of my problems were related to the actual hosting setup and system. It's actually embarrassing to think that I lost a lot of money trying to fix problems, adding tools, hiring edge resources, etc, only to find out that the hosting setup was the most important thing to make my WP applications shine. I don't even want to know how they do it, it just works. No caching issues, no blockings, no hangings, no performance problems... that is how it is to have a WP application hosted at Kinsta. And every time you need any kind of support, from easy to very advanced needs, they have the right person to talk to you and work together with you towards the resolution. It is really amazing, and constantly you realize that your investment is worthwhile during the work with Kinsta.
The platform is container-based and developer friendly - fast SSH access and database access permit a number of possible custom deployment scenarios. For teams trying to implement best practices from software development, Kinsta has proved to be the most flexible solution.
Like with any managed host, there are restrictions on what you can and can't do with the platform - for example, some plugins are banned because they're too resource-intensive. I'm also not a fan of the pricing for add-on services like Redis and ElasticSearch, which seems out of line with the pricing for their core offering.
Hosting for hundreds of WordPress websites. Their custom pricing for agency customers is flexible and delivers an impressive cost-to-site ratio. Their platform supports a large part of our digital business and has over-delivered on promises made in the sales process.

They dont deal with addressing issues related to wordpress plugins which makes it the only setback really plus the team dosent have a phone hotline which would make thier service even better
When i joined kinsta it was for the purpose of addressing my website ssl issues which they were able to address and come with solutions to help me put an end to the issues
Personally for me, Kinsta is the best hosting service out there. It's very easy to use, mainly hands free, and has never let me down. But what really shines is the customer support. Whenever I have a question, Kinsta is there for me 24/7 and always has an answer.
It's a tad pricey for those who only want to run one site.

Kinsta is an all in one Wordpress hosting environment with easy to access features like Cloudflare, plug-ins, themes, PHO, redirect management etc. They provide access to their CDN network too all under one roof. Backups are super easy to manage with self hosting options on AWS and Google as an option.

I've used many of the "Top" hosting services over the years and nothing quite compares to Kinsta. Their interface is easy, the tools are well thought out, and the support is incredible. I've spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on developers and previous hosting plans simply trying to improve my site speed. The moment I migrated over to Kinsta, might site loads lighting fast, and easy-to-restore backups give me confidence to make updates and changes without losing sleep at night.
My one quarrel is standard daily, hourly, weekly, and manual backups only last for 14 days. You can bypass this by connecting an S3 or Google cloud account, but it would be nice to store backups directly in the system for a longer duration than this - I can easily see a scenario where my site has been quietly hacked and I don't notice for, say 15 days. In this scenario, I would not be able to override the hack. Again, you can accomplish this by simply logging into an S3 or Google Cloud account, but it's an extra step that doesn't seem necessary to lock in one or two long-term backups.
Kinsta is an easy-to-use hosting platform with convenient tools and really great support. I used to lose sleep at night thinking what would happen to our websites until Kinsta came along.
