"Rock Solid Hosting with Attention to Security and Performance"
What do you like best about WP Engine?

WPEngine routinely updates its infrastructure to make sure that your site is running on the best-fit version of PHP and WordPress. They encourage and auto-update installations to keep you from lagging on security, and if you have a plugin with a known security issue, they notify you. I feel like my sites are safer on WPEngine. I have also never had a problem getting their support people on chat, and they work hard to resolve whatever issues arise.

What do you dislike about WP Engine?

You pay for what you get. WPEngine isn't the cheapest solution out there. Recently they've also been adjusting their models and offering new services which don't quite fit my use case as well as the older models. They've been good about respecting existing customers and keeping us where we're happy, but at some point, I'll probably have to reevaluate our package with them.

What problems is WP Engine solving and how is that benefiting you?

We've solved our website hosting and been able to grow and develop our presence. Like I said above, I feel more secure on this platform, and I still have lots of room to grow and develop our web presence in whatever directions we need to.

"WP Engine excellent plugin for the popular WordPress blogging platform"
What do you like best about WP Engine?

Our company uses WordPress and WP Engine internally to manage clients' websites and blogs. It is an easy-to-use solution that ensures the security of data related to our websites. It is used for hosting and backups across the board. Our task is to oversee the routine updating of backups of customer websites. The functions that help us create and structure websites, as well as its ability to move data quickly and expeditiously, make it a very effective and robust solution for our company. Their technical support is quite good.

What do you dislike about WP Engine?

Users of the tool would benefit from receiving an e-mail whenever a major change occurs. With this feature, users would be able to receive information about new features and options.

What problems is WP Engine solving and how is that benefiting you?

It takes the pressure off of us to ensure that our clients' websites are safe from harm by regularly backing them up automatically. Making daily backups is the best way to protect the confidentiality of your data. Always have a backup plan ready to go. WP Engine's constant availability of customer service is just one of the ways in which it stands out from the crowd. It could be valuable to any business, no matter how big or small it is. This is due to the fact that the cost of acquiring WP Engine is negligible, making it accessible to enterprises of all sizes.

"Extremely high-quality Wordpress hosting for professionals"
What do you like best about WP Engine?

WPEngine makes managing hosting environments for Wordpress both intuitive and user friendly for developers. They have managed to streamline the most important features and tools that get used on a daily basis while still allowing granular control of technical settings, and very high quality customer technical support when needed.

What do you dislike about WP Engine?

I do wish there were a lower price point option for sites that don't require a lot of bandwidth or resources to operate. If there were, I would probably use WPEngine for smaller client builds more often, instead of utilizing a smaller, more budget-friendly hosting platform.

What problems is WP Engine solving and how is that benefiting you?

WPEngine's servers very rarely have issues with performance or downtime, which prevents our agency from having to spend time troubleshooting/debugging issues that arise.

The limit of shared server troubles us when seasonal spike comes, and increasingly aggressive new salesperson in recent years gets a bit annoying.

What problems is WP Engine solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps my company building our online business using WordPress CMS without worrying about usual server issues in backend.

"Top tier hosting, great support."
What do you like best about WP Engine?

WPEngine is a fantastic, reliable web host. I don't know that I can even remember a day I had any site outages. Their support is top notch, willing to help with any Wordpress related question. I once had a site transferred in that had latent malware, their team cleaned the site for me within 5 hours. Backups are incredible, tons of backend options for power users and my development teams. Highly recommend this provider.

What do you dislike about WP Engine?

They are a little pricey, but that's to be expected for premium service. There are cheaper hosting options out there for sure, but the quality and customer service I get accounts for the higher cost.

What problems is WP Engine solving and how is that benefiting you?

WPEngine is taking a lot of the security, infrastructure and backend nonsense out of my hands so I don't have to deal with it. I have multiple clients hosted on WPE, and I rarely have any cancel.

"Switched to WPEngine for the speed, stayed for the support"
What do you like best about WP Engine?

I like the speed, security, and ease of setup

What do you dislike about WP Engine?

Sometimes their aggressive cache causes problems, but that is the trade-off for fast loading sites

What problems is WP Engine solving and how is that benefiting you?

A strong partner to go along with my web design business. It's good to have a solid hosting recommendation on which I can build a site with minimal issues.

"Easy to use and reliable!"
What do you like best about WP Engine?

Its quick and easy to use. Updates are seamless. Migrations are easy. The best platform for multiple staging sites and diagnostics.

What do you dislike about WP Engine?

I have found that when applying updates in the dev site any new data that has come through the production site is lost through that short period. For example we lost a claim submission and the client did not follow up for two weeks and was not too impressed we had no details of the claim.

What problems is WP Engine solving and how is that benefiting you?

WP Engine is a secure system that manages our staging, dev and prod sites. I feel confident we will have minimal issues with this hosting platform.

What do you dislike about WP Engine?

Allows my clients - small businesses - the ability to perform managed hosting with a dedicated employee involved.
