Good customer support- i had a problem and they responded quickly through 24/7 chat box. My website is the first one have so I have questions that needs to be answered. It is also easy to connect it with wordpress.
The design of the bluehost page when you log in can be improved to look smoother
Connection to wordpress and giving my site own identity with the domain registration.
I appreciated that Bluehost walked me through step by step in creating my own domain. It linked directly with wordpress so I could create my own blog that I wanted.
I dislike that there is no video tutorial at the beginning to explain some of the details. It took my several days of using the software to understand some of the nuances.
I am creating my own blog - and I have realized that it has allowed me to achieve my dream of creating my own blog!
I designed my first website with them and it was very easy. The templates are great and make working with Wordpress a breeze. Pricing was very competitive and the support is great.
So far my experience has been very positive. No hidden fees and good explanations for the options on hosting etc.
Needed a personal site to support my marketing efforts and improve SEO.
They have multiplatform hosting - Linux and Windows. Support is friendly and knowledgeable. Easy to setup and navigate email. Unlimited email accounts and bandwidth. Ability to create mailing lists. Can add subscribers and moderators. They also offer VPS and dedicated hosting. You may register up to three free domain names. They have different options for customer support including live chat, phone support and online ticket submitting system.
Old cPanel interface and lack of Wordpress support. Don't have access to the second level of support. Some time the waiting time for phone support is long.
You can utilize your needs for Linux and Windows hosting under one account. Easy to obtain private IP address for your hosting. I can create virtually unlimited amount mailing lists and have hundredth of subscribers.
Great customer support. Great Price. Great value.
The Cloud hosting plan has problems with reliability.
Easy to use hosting platform. All-in-one website solutions.
I use BlueHost for web publication hosting using WordPress. I also use BlueHost for email. Both work very well, and it's simple and straightforward for those inexperienced with self-hosting to learn and gain experience.
There's a little bit of lag in the email hosting at times. I use a third-party email host/reader and sometimes they don't come through or send right away - I usually experience lags of 20-40 minutes between server refreshes or updates.
The business itself is a web publication company, so our main product is the website hosted here.
BlueHost is a good hosting option for small businesses, small to medium traffic websites, and everything in between. Its relatively simple to set up. What I like best is the help videos and informative articles. Basically everything I've needed to do I've had step by step instructions to assist me.
BlueHost offers great initial deals to sign up. After that first contract is up though, they offer no other promotions and you are left to decide to transfers your sites to another hosting company or to pay the increased costs. It's kind of frustrating when you see the deals they offer new people but you cannot get the deals because you are a loyal non-new customer.
We host many websites, emails and domains through BlueHost. They are easy to work with and simple steps to set up.
First and foremost: the "all inclusive" deal. No space limitations, no bandwidth limitations, no limitations on number of websites handled (as far as I know for the latter). Framework is awesome and almost all types of small web apps can be hosted there. Everything is managed with a super simple control panel. Support is excellent. I moved around quite a bit from hosting provider to hosting provider before landing on IX.
I guess the strongest issue I encountered are prolonged down times, which are (a) rare and (b) not unique to IX as unfortunately all hosters are having those once in a while. Even the mighty Amazon. Still - my advice is to not host anything mission critical with IX (or any other hoster for that matter), and if you do - do take care for some CDNs/backups.
It's our one stop shop for everything that should be hosted on the web, and is non critical: company websites, small web apps and web services. The main benefit is having everything under one roof and under one price.
It's affordable, it's reliable, has an easy C-panel and love the 1-click installs. The features are all pretty standard for any of the lower-cost hosting options. I have multiple accounts with multiple sites underneath them and it suits me well. I use it to purchase domains as well since it is easier to have everything in one place.
The domain prices are a few bucks extra compared to what you might pay elsewhere but having domain registration and hosting in one place is worth it.
Need an affordable hosting solution for wordpress sites as well as to host sites that we use for landing pages for advertising campaigns. Easy to manage dns settings and no limit on the number of sites you can have within your hosting environment.
Inexpensive and easy to set up. One-click installs for WordPress sites make this a no brainer for clients.
MOJO Marketplace integration is annoying
