For website creation, hosting, or domain name purchasing, GoDaddy has long been a go-to for users. As a big-name provider, the platform currently manages over 75 million domains for 17 million customers around the world. Despite being a massive conglomerate, GoDaddy still provides low sign-up rates, which is why it is still a preferred platform by small to medium enterprises as well as blue-chip corporations. GoDaddy also offers high-value bonuses, such as WHOIS privacy protection, automatic renewal, unlimited bandwidth, and access to special offers and promos.

All the hosting requirements, accessories and support at one place unlike other only hosting providers. Very easy to integrate and start hosting.
It is very expensive and each feature is expensive compared to others.
The technical support we need to spend on resources for hosting is compensated here, time and money are saved.

The most highlighting feature of GoDaddy.com is its user-friendly interface. Whether you want to host a website, design a website, buy a domain or buy plug-ins for your website, GoDaddy is surely a go-to option.
GoDaddy is quite expensive when compared to other websites. No matter it is completely clean and the money is quite worthy. But for people who are experimenting and are wanting to build a new website, or are newbies, it is not as pocket friendly for them.
I myself built my company's portfolio website using the domains and hosting bought from GoDaddy. The payment procedure is very easy and error-free as well they sell their products in a neat way. The benefit that I got was that I was able to build my website on my own without the help of any other third-party applications apart from GoDaddy.
Godaddy Hosting offers a great uptime which is of about 99.97%. Along with this it offers a great page loading speed and it offers more than 125 one touch applications as well. The pricing of web hosting is comparable. Basic plan is great and offers great value as well. It is quite cheap and can be used basically by beginners. Other than that, other plans offers a great bandwidth (unlimited as well) which in comparison to its competitors are quite better as well.
Godaddy hosting have many plans but on the other hand, when we compares it to it's nearest competitors, it's not at all inexpensive as well. The basic plan also does not have all the features that one might expect which includes SSL certificate, backup, security, site migration, and more. Also, the renewal rates are way too high. The money back guarantee is not very much clear as well.
We have initially used Godaddy Hosting for many of our side projects, which needs web hosting services. It have nice cPanel, so it's easy to use and setup as well.
GoDaddy sells and provides many products and service like web hosting, aside from domain names, website builder, email, etc. So, it can be a one stop shop. Thus, if your hosting through them, domain names, and others are with them as well, managing your website and business tools would be very easy.
However, GoDaddy Hosting is absolutely expensive based on my experience. Hence, we did not continue our service with them after 3 months, especially after finding a better provider who can provide us domain name, web hosting and website builder for the price of 1. Save whenever you can!
GoDaddy Hosting is a big help for those who want to have a website or become visible online thru official business name. A website need many things including hosting, with GoDaddy is becomes less expensive than hosting your own website thru your own server. But, nevertheless, it is still more expensive than others, so often, like us, we had to depart and choose other provider after couple of months, which we really did.
Intuitive and easy to use backend with legitimate domains
needing to use WordPress or other e-commerce for the live website.
Registering domains and renewals are easy, as well as pointing sites to other platforms
Its easy to search and buy domain names via Godaddy, but Godaddy ui is not very friendly as compare to other competitiors I have used.
Difficult in understanding where is your DNS and how to manage multiple websites from the control panel.
Until I found bluehost for my wordpress website, i was using godaddy and was able to run wordpress website on it.
I really like their packages and the login area to manage everything. Truly an amazing experience and loved almost everything about it when I was with Media Temple for my own sites as well as the sites of all my clients. I really liked the WordPress hosting as it gave all the essentials without overloading a newbie with too much detail and information.
I do not like the pricing and the support could use some work. I found that I was almost always speaking to the same people on the support chat which could be due to a low number of support staff, but I also about that many times I would leave the chat not knowing nearly enough of what I needed to do to get my request complete. The Parallels system could have used much better servers at the time I used them (2012-2015).
Media Temple is great for basic WordPress users and some of their products would be amazing for more experienced developers but I found that with Media Temple I wasn't solving enough of the issues I was having with Hosting to stay much longer.
GoDaddy has a portal that is very friendly and easy to use. The settings are really easy for us to use. Implementation is very quick compared to other big names. There are numerous features the best is CPanel. Integration of it with WordPress was very easy for me. We used GoDaddy hosting from 2011
Customer support doesn't know anything about hacking everything you ask which is a threat they will say it is an error. They don't know the solution to these digital threats. They just transfer the call to another manager head who just knows the hack, not the solution.
GoDaddy solved one major problem for us which was implementation from WordPress and the best thing is that it's easy to contact the domain owner for asking domain and it's price.
GoDaddy has a simple enough interface to make sense of buying domains and managing them whether you need to upload custom HTLM files or working using Wordpress or other apps.
GoDaddy does not make things simple from a technical standpoint. They hid alot of buttons and features to make switching from them or moving things around very cumbersome. The simple act of turning a domain's "auto-renewal" off is a 3 or 4 step process, because GoDaddy would rather you get frustrated and keep it on "auto-renewal".
The FileManager in the Control Panel in GoDaddy is very nice. With other Web Registrars you can not unzip files inside your FileManager and instead have to use an extractor app. Being able to work from one window saves alot of time and end-costs for our customers.
If there was anything that I enjoy about Media Temple, it's that they are pretty responsive when it comes to customer service. Unfortunately, that's about it. You will find that you are contacting them fairly often. The prices were fairly competitive as well. The security package was astronomically expensive, but the hosting itself from Media Temple was actually not too bad.
The up/down time is actually pretty awful. Also, let's talk about their "security" that they have in place. We were hosting about 400 different domains on their server, and we were constantly fighting off spam and malware with Media Temple. The customer service is pretty good, but unfortunately I felt like we were contacting them a few times a week because we were constantly having issues. The speed of the servers were also pretty lacking. At times we would get timeouts because the websites would fail to load, but other times I felt like the websites were blazing fast. The service was very on and off for us unfortunately.
We used to think that Media Temple was great for hosting, but we recently moved most of our hosting to another company. After switching, we realized just how little we knew about good hosting when we were with Media Temple. Please do your research on as many hosting companies as you can before deciding!
I like that GoDaddy hosting has great suport and lots of features beyond just hosting a website. Their backend is easy to use and feels very streamlined.
I dislike the performance of websites on GoDaddy hosting. If you are running a website that uses e-commerce or just gets lots of traffic, the website will perform very poorly. I've used several different tiers of their plans and I have always run into issues with peformance. I also dislike that they don't provide a free SSL like most of their competitors to.
GoDaddy is easy to use and provides a way to host a website such as Wordpress. It benefits me as an agency because I don't have to worry about the complicated setup of hosting environments, security, etc.
When you are in a rush and need an easy to use and fast to deploy hosting GoDaddy it's the horse to bet. You can easily pick an available Domain and choose your package from the economy made for small projects to the maximum for more complex projects.
GoDaddy it's the perfect choice if you are to new in the web site hosting but not recommended for an experienced user that looks for editing the minimal details, you won't have the classic options so get ready to look for a while the needed option. Be careful because during the 1st year almost every service is free but next year gets ready your wallet to pay twice the price listed on the site. Moving to the email service, at first sight, it's easy to set up, create new accounts and install in almost all the clients, but one you will start to have issues and you will face the spend a minutes of pain trying to fix your email, Customer Services will try to sell you another service instead of actually fixing the real problem and at the end you will have to move to another hosting provider.
Create a simple web site, host a simple application, buying a domain.
Costing is good and they are pretty famus here in India I guess
User interface is not that good. Also if you are puchasing a basic plan It is totally waste of money as it will take at least 15 seconds even to resond to your call to server.
It provides hosting and basically provides you with all the tools needed.
Able to talk to support based in the United States
Cost to operation is higher. You are charged for your SSL and other services at a much higher rate
None as I no longer use their hosting
They've been doing it for a very long time so their help desk is pretty knowledgeable ... When you can get through.
There are just too many dashboards and product views to ever remember for sure where you need to go. Usually you can stumble into the right place fairly quickly but there's always a sense of trial and error. Also, they are aggressively upsale reliant and my clients have sometimes been tricked into massively costly upgrades that they just don't need. I can't recommend a product to somebody that will exploit and price gouge them.
I have used them for years but at this point I am moving away from them. They are adding problems not taking them away.
It's easy to set up a hosting account. Just point and click.
GoDaddy overloads their servers. They hosting environment isn't capable of what is promised. If you try to run much above 60% of the host capacity it locks up and slows down. Trying to get help from support is difficult. It's clear they are reading from a script and to get any kind of meaningful information requires time and elevation of a support ticket.
We used GoDaddy for a website/e-mail host and a VPS.
I used to recommend Rackspace to all my clients. Today I don't. They are more expensive and slower than AWS or Digital Ocean for smaller projects, and setting up multiple server for more complex projects feels messy.
Customer supports is not great. Their API is second-rate compared to AWS and Digital Ocean. Have had multiple billing issues over the years.
I used MediaTemple to host websites for my clients. I don't do long-term support of many projects so it is nice to have a company that non-technical clients can turn to for support.
Honestly nothing. Slow, glitchy and terrible customer support.
God, where do I even start. The UI is confusing, they are overpriced for what they offer, and their customer support is the worst I've ever experienced with any hosting service. I have a client who is continuously having issues with their site because of server-related issues, and I have currently been waiting on their "super-fast chat support" for close to an hour (and this wait time is standard from previous experience with them). We will be moving them away as soon as possible. Use literally any other service but Media Temple.
Nothing. Only creating problems.
