For website creation, hosting, or domain name purchasing, GoDaddy has long been a go-to for users. As a big-name provider, the platform currently manages over 75 million domains for 17 million customers around the world. Despite being a massive conglomerate, GoDaddy still provides low sign-up rates, which is why it is still a preferred platform by small to medium enterprises as well as blue-chip corporations. Reliable uptime. Comes with a fully featured CPanel with many installable applications like wordpress, joomla, drupal, mysql plus so many more. Uploads to the web server are very fast.
The pricing keeps going up instead of down. It is not optimised of application hosting using Node or pyhton
Provides reliable and stable hoting that is always on
GoDaddy has been out in the market for as long as I can remember, which is something I like since I feel they have more at stack as such an establish company. The design of their website has a very consumer type of feel with graphic and descriptions that remind me of a retail website. I think this type of design makes the web services world seem easier to access. As a customer, I'm more comfortable browsing their website since it has complete information and context for their products.
The website builder included with my hosting package isn't the best I've seen. It can do an all right job and getting basic information like titles, descriptive text and images put into place, but it's not the easiest system to make more refined changes. There also aren't many templates to choose from when I start using the web builder for the first time.
GoDaddy Hosting has been a mostly reliable hosting company that I use for many different websites for business. The hosting plan I have is flexible enough for me to add content management systems and standard web pages. Though I've heard many complaints about the server speed, I've mostly experienced loading speeds that are sufficient enough for my websites.
GoDaddy is among the also known website hosting companies, that is best to me since i have believed that keeps them accountable. If services aren't as much as componen, a large company like this will face critique and the like through public outcries. Smaller sized companies may not feel just as much pressure to fixed problems when they do not have that sort of community surrounding them. So far as the caliber of their service, they give to us obvious and concise tools to set up and manage our hosting accounts.
Around the shared web hosting plans, there might be frequent cases of slow or perhaps stalled, website traffic because of high congestion occasions. Though the customer care team is generally knowledgeable and friendly, I sometimes need to wait a long time for you to get hold of someone. I also need to sometimes get transferred between different departments and also have to re-explain my problems to every support person, which may be annoying and pointless.
We've used GoDaddy for hosting multiple websites with a different structure. The hosting plans at GoDaddy are very versatile. They provide many tools that allow us to manage our accounts easier and also have a credit card application installation platform that allows us to install several kinds of CMS software along with other tools rapidly.
GoDaddy has really nice priced hosting plans, I myself use to host website using godaddy, it's really helpful i recommend people use GoDaddy. Really nice and stable hosting, If you are looking for good hosting I would definitely recommend GoDaddy, I've been using GoDaddy for a long time for about 3 or more years. it helped me a lot to get my own domain
There are huge bugs here, Some domains are little pricey but things are fine and ok. I recommend for GoDaddy so they should review reports and bug so they can improve their quality in the future
It is pretty fast... But not fast like the other ones, But for a web hosting this good i'd highly recommend GoDaddy, Everything is really fine here !
GoDaddy provides lots of different website hosting solutions and products that can help full fill your website operations needs. The CPanel of GoDaddy plan is loaded with lots of sources and options for controls and configurations to pretty particular needs. There are numerous programs that easily available capable to be installed right within our GoDaddy account. Finally, client support has generally been very helpful in most cases respond rapidly.
The factor I observe using the GoDaddy shared web hosting plan would be that the web site loading is high, might be sluggish throughout occasions throughout the day, or when a different site takes on sources on a single hosting server. Also, the site builder that it offers is not getting advanced control which normally needed to construct an expert website.
The very best factor with GoDaddy we're feeling by using this web host we are able to design our website very rapidly when compared with other internet hosting company since the features and controls within this hosting are extremely easy and simple to make use of. You needn't take any other practicing by using this. We easily can integrate all of the domains using the GoDaddy hosting with no difficulty.
Comes with many applications like Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal that are easy to install and manage. Godaddy Hosting also has really first upload speeds for files.
Godaddy is not really optimised for hosting backend applications built using Node and flask
I've hosted so a number of websites on Godaddy, with minimal complexity
I haven't gotten a great bang for my buck at GoDaddy. Their prices are extremely affordable for small businesses or even individuals that work by themselves. I know that it is also used by some larger companies, so its capabilities are quite high for overall business needs. The website builder that comes with my hosting account is an excellent way for us to get websites up and running with minimal effort or knowledge. I don't need to have any programming knowledge to get sharp websites created with common informational pages.
During certain days at certain times, the waiting times for the customer support can be very long. I've had to sometimes wait over 30 minutes. The support team is usually great, but I think since GoDaddy has so many customers, there can often be a large queue in the phone lines. There are some days though where I can get through within a minute or so. The toll free phone number was also hard to find.
We can post our websites and other digital media assets online with our GoDaddy's account. We have the flexibility of being able to use common content management systems or to create our own website environment with PHP and MySQL databases. Unlike many other hosts we looked at, GoDaddy had among the highest amount of technical resources that allowed us to configure various setups specifically for our hosting plan on GoDaddy. There are often idiosyncrasies within specific web hosting plans that might conflict with general technical instructions, so have guides connected for our particular account has been very helpful.
The cost for using GoDaddy Hosting is among the lowest according to the price comparisons I did with major web hosting companies. The customer service team is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, so I feel like I don't have to fly solo when figuring out how to set things up or fix errors. GoDaddy Hosting has a control panel with many different features that allow us to control many, if not all, aspects of our hosting plan.
The shared hosting plan we have can run into high traffic times that cause our page loading times to slow down. Some of the server software isn't updated to the latest additions, which can cause problems with some website plugins we use that depend on certain software versions.
The hosting plan we have with GoDaddy Hosting is a flexible method for storing files and web pages for both internal and external uses. We can load pages for clients that are connected to marketing campaigns launched from social media. Though it's probably not the fastest hosting company, we get very good value for the money we spend with them. Our hosting plan is versatile enough to host custom HTML pages or pages generated from common content management systems.
GoDaddy Hosting has many different web hosting products that can help simplify and secure your website management needs. The control panel in our shared hosting plan has many tools and options for settings and configurations to very specific needs. I like having the control to add things like custom subdomains, FTP users and MySQL databases. There are many application that available and ready to be installed right within our GoDaddy account. Lastly, the customer service has usually been very helpful and generally reply or pick up calls quickly.
The page loading times can be slow during certain times of the day, or whenever another website is taking up resources on our server. The web builder doesn't have as many advanced controls as I'd want, nor does it function in the most intuitive way. It can be difficult for novice users to use.
GoDaddy hosts many types of web pages that we use for marketing, client presentations, forms and other business needs. It's kind of like a universal storage and display area that we can use for many reasons. The uptime has often been good and there hasn't been a ton of negative page performance issues for our standard web pages. Also, seeing all of the applications available in our GoDaddy account was a great way to explore and learn about new software that could benefit us.
The web hosting control panel in GoDaddy offers many useful features for managing our website settings. There are dozens of features all on one page, which allows me to find what I need quickly. We can also see our accounts capacity limits and IP address. The overall dashboard is concise and makes it easy for us to navigate where we need to go. We can create many FTP accounts so multiple users can go in and manage our web folders without being able to access unrelated parent folders. Though GoDaddy offers separate email packages, their hosting plan comes with standard hosting that is great for adding many users. We can seamlessly integrate the emails into most standard email clients for easier access.
The email accounts in our hosting plan tend to be a bit slow. It can sometimes take more than 10 minutes to receive an email. However, the standard hosting email accounts are probably not intended to be primary business accounts, but they nonetheless did not perform so well at times. Dealing with all of the tools in the hosting control panel can be overwhelming for those without much web design or hosting account management experience. Managing the account isn't very similar to working with a DIY web builder. There are more components to consider and manage.
We can host websites and promotional pages for marketing campaigns, client feedback pages, service descriptions and just about any other web page needs. We can also store files and provide password-protected pages for client and internal use. The overall hosting plan is very versatile and has enabled us to be flexible about hosting pages and storing files. We can link to the pages and files from various outside platforms such as social media, emails and print media.
Great for hosting several websites or a medium to large website, the price is great for larger packages. We had a VPS, and considered getting a dedicated server, but in the end we ended up separating each website on its own host. The control panel was easy to use.
It would be nice if we could have multiple admins to manage the account, with different levels of access.
We used GoDaddy for several years to host our websites, we had about 20+ websites in the same VPS.
We use Media Temple for 5 of our websites and continue to be pleased with the reliability of our dv server and the customer support. The sites generally load pretty fast and for serious businesses it's definitely superior to cheaper shared hosting platforms.
Some of the support documentation appears dated and often I will have to research things outside their Help area. But all in all, this is a pretty minor complaint. The knowledge of their support team is generally high but occasionally you will be connected with someone that doesn't appear fully educated about their platform.
We decided on Media Temple based on cost, reliability and speed. We also recently switched one site to HTTPS and their support team was very helpful. In fact, we were able to complete that project in about an hour with no additional cost other than the license itself.
I have the wordpress hosting, and it's very fast. The staging options are very useful and includes emails accounts. You can host 3 domains in the same account. The support (chat) it's awesome, always these guys have solved my problems.
It's a very expensive, specially for Latin America, and the server cache it's sometimes annoying when you are modifying the theme of you website. I would love if have support in spanish.
We need a hosting provider for a website with a lot of traffic, and secure for e-commerce transactions. We need also a hosting specialized in wordpress sites, and an excellent support.
I started using it couple of years ago. I didn't have any credit card before, that is why I had to purchase through 3rd parties, which were super expensive. Once I purchased a credit card, I started using Godaddy service. It is super user friendly. Secured. It has option to store credit card records so that you do not have to input the credentials everyday. And it sends a reminder in email before the expiary.
As usual, after the first year hosting service, second year price gets atleast doubled, that is difficult and kind of blackmailing since I have no other option, I have to purchase from them.
I had my business website, I purchased from it, and also the hosting. I regularly maintained hosting from godaddy. You do not have to be a tech guy to maintain it. It was an advertising based website and it was simple. So a guy like me could easily login and maintain.
