Memberpress makes it way easy to create Membership Sites. I like various things about Memberpress. 1. Amazing support team 2. Easy Setup 3. Great documentation and community behind it.

We used Memberpress with LearnDash for creating a Membership course platform based on WordPress. It works well with LearnDash and integrates with other plugins as well.

I have been a MemberPress user for about eight years. It was purchased originally for a client that uses it to restrict access to user manuals of their proprietary products to verified owners. This year I began using it for one of my own websites -- NutritionFactsMaker.com -- to set up paid subscription access to the site. This was the first time I had fully exploited the features that make MemberPress so useful. Users of my service can subscribe for varying durations and get notified when their subscription is about to expire. It interacts seamlessly with PayPal and I get notified whenever users purchase the service, as well as when they change passwords. The software is updated regularly and the support is very good.

There really isn't much to dislike about MemberPress. The software does what it says. There is a learning curve to taking advantage of all of its features, but persistence certainly pays off.

I had to replace an older version of the Nutrition Facts Maker site because changes to the interface with PayPal created extra steps in the registration process. Users no longer received their access codes automatically and I had to manually send them their credentials. When redesigning the site, it was obvious that I needed software to track users and their subscriptions without manual intervention. MemberPress takes care of everything. This allows all of my focus to be directed toward customer satisfaction instead of administration and troubleshooting.

How easy it was to use and set up, it was great!

The price was the only downfall to using this platform.

I like the flexibility within the platform to which covers almost all of my needs and the needs of my members. Particularly like the new courses module.

The only thing I don't like is there is no built-in forum or community, so I need to use BuddyPress for example.

My main problem was effective rolling out content to my members on a regular basis and Memberpress give that in an easy to use system.

Easy to install and configure. Was able to create my membership in less than one hr and had it installed on my website.

Seemed slow and lagging. Also learning curve was steep. I suggest more video tutorials

Love how easy it is to install on an existing WordPress website and turn it into a fully functioning membership website. The course creation is a nice addition so you can offer more for your audience. Really love how easy it is to get set up and start charging for your memberships!

One thing I noticed an issue with was deleting lessons from your courses. If you delete from the main curriculum (rather than the side lessons navigation), it will leave the page's record in your sitemap. Google will spit out a 5xx server error. MAKE SURE YOU DELETE LESSONS FROM THE RIGHT SIDE LESSON NAVIGATION.

Turning a website into a functioning membership website that accepts payment and gates content. It solves the problem of monetizing content for your business! Really happy with the ability to do so thanks to MP.

It simply works. There are a lot of potential issues that can happen with a membership plugin (payment processing, renewals, etc...) and MemberPress handles them all.

It's a bit expensive and I wish they had a lifetime pricing option. But it saves you time in building and maintaining, which is a cost reduction in itself. Ultimately still worth the cost.

I built two membership sites for two non-profit organizations and they have both run very smoothly with MemberPress. My clients have many fewer support requests for me with the new software which makes them happy!

Easy to use. Memberpress is simple, right out of the box. Set up your pages, use memberpress to protect them. The only way it could be simpler is if Memberpress made you a coffee in the middle of it.

I'm finding it hard to write anything. Their service was awesome (we had questions on features and had replies within 10 hours), they're constantly adding features, like their new Courses options, and the forthcoming Quiz options. The plug in to just about every mailer, payment system and have a great affiliate system to let you sell your products through affiliates.

We're running lots of things for clients, and since using Memberpress have also installed and upgraded clients business options by using the courses within Memberpress. We've literally given companies 2-3 new ways to reach and engage with their clients on subscription level opportunities building in great value to their business and foresight of future cashflows.

It's fast and easy to setup, and includes everything you need to sell online courses and protect the course content if you use Wordpress.

Very straightforward to set-up. Had a functioning subscription site set up in a matter of minutes. Customization take a little poking around but is very much supported and works well with a suite of other plugins I'm using.

Memberpress is very intuitive. I am not the webmaster yet I could figure it out easily and thereby save lots of money!

I just started using it 2 months ago so have not a lot of experience with it but still found no problems whatsoever and I am not the webmaster.

Paid Memberships Pro did not work very well with .y websites software. BuddyBoss but Memberpress is flawless.

The WordPress MemberPress plugin allows you to create an unlimited number of memberships and restrictions on content such as viewing, downloading, commenting, etc. It also includes premium features such as creating courses and holding webinars which helps build form relationships with your customer base or sell products without changing your site experience or losing control over the content.

Memberpress was easy enough to install. I could easily set up the important functions and focus on other things. I haven't had any issues yet. It just works.

A lot of focus in Memberpress seems to be about payment thru Memberpress itself. Since we don't use the payments features at all - we handle that outside of Wordpress - it would have been possible to simply turn payments and the regarding functions off completely. Also, I would love to be able to fully use our inhouse graphics styling and make Memberpress invisible to the end user.

Letting the customers view the information they should see, and hide other functions of Wordpress. They should not even be thinking of what type of site they are on.

There is nothing I dislike - however, I think every plugin company can improve the speed of response in support, especially if the agency users are willing to pay for it.

Very few. The differences between Wordpress subscribers and Members is a little difficult to navigate conceptually.

No problems so far (now). At the beginning I had some tech issues but member support were great!

I purchased this software on behalf of my client, looking to move away from a subscription-based learning management system and host their own. Memberpress offered everything they required (and more) from a full Learning Management System. Setup was extremely easy and was installed on the WordPress site in a matter of minutes. There's great customisation, a whole library of plugins to add additional functionality, and integrates great with other popular software such as MailChimp, Elementor and Stripe. Even features like automatic PDF generation for customer purchases increases the automation and means myself / my client needs to spend less time interacting with the system - which is a bonus in both our eyes. I'm looking forward to continually develop and work with my client with Memberpress and look forward to suggesting it as my go-to software for any future LMS projects.

There's nothing I don't like. Perhaps, as a suggestion, there could be some preset styles for the member's account dashboard in WordPress. Although it's functional and works perfectly, it's perhaps a bit basic in design. It can be easily customised with some HTML and CSS but this takes time and therefore presets would help with the design process.

I'm solving my clients issue of being stuck paying subscriptions for their current LMS. By using WordPress, they're paying a 1-off / Annual fee that's 5x cheaper than their current rate.

Once set up, the plugin makes taking payments and keeping track of members a breeze. It's all mostly automated, so there's not much additional effort that goes into collecting information, sending email responses, taking payments, etc.

We switched from a different membership plugin to use this one because it offered more features. Switching plugins was mostly seamless, but we did experience some frustration in transferring our member info from the old plugin to the new one. That process wasn't very intuitive. We searched for a way to export the information from the old plugin and import it into MemberPress but couldn't find a way to do it. We ended up typing out the data for all of our previous members into MemberPress info which was pretty tedious. It's been a couple of years since we set it up though - it's possible that updates have addressed that problem and the process is more streamlined. Or the solution is more intuitive.

MemberPress offers more features than the previous plugin did and comes with add-ons that you can install for additional needs you may have. Once we got through the hassle of setting it up, keeping track of our members has been easier, and it allowed us to offer more price variations. The sign-up and payment automation have also been beneficial, saving us a lot of time on things we had to do with the old plugin manually. We offer a membership service on the Spanish website. Before using MemberPress the Spanish division made less revenue than it was paying to pay the employess and other overhead costs - it was completely supported by the English division. Since setting up MemberPress that team has not only made enough to cover its expenses, but it now makes up a considerable chunk of the montly income made by the entire ministry. MemberPress has enabled the Spanish division to be a key player in the ministry as a whole.

Price, features, and simplicity. Everything is great.

We need a simple and easy way to sell digital courses through woo commerce, and it's the simplest, and it comes out it's the simplest and easiest way to do it.

I am able to use my website editors with the platform and I am able to create a smooth process on my website.

Although doable, is kind of difficult to properly design checkout pages. They should have templates for this :)

I'm able to easily teach online instead of just selling videos to download where creating a community and offering support is more difficult.

I'm super excited about the inclusion of online courses; and the integration with the Divi theme. I am a physician and I've been searching high and low for a membership software the had a complementary payment gateway to my EHR (Charm). So, the cherry on top of the ice cream was when I saw Memberpress integrated with Authorize.net.

At this point, I am not super duper happy about the price; however, I am going to join the affiliate program so hopefully, it will pay for itself.

I am solving at least five problems: (1) A Membership software. (2) Online Course Software. (3) A payment gateway that is compatible with the EHR software used in my medical practice. (4) The integration of community/forum software will allow the people of my tribe to get to know one another. (5) The integration of affiliate software as I plan to launch an affiliate program within the next couple of months. This software provides me with the benefit of autonomy and the ability to have everything in one place. I like the idea of having my membership platform, online courses, and website all in one place. My website has a chat option; therefore, I can have a closer relationship and more communication with my followers, students, and the people who visit my website.

I switched from Clickfunnels to Memberpress to save money on my course membership area but already I'm noticing that the interface and user experience are also so much better than the clickfunnels member area. I know my customers are going to love their experience with my courses now that they are built in Memberpress and I'm glad to not have to pay the extra $97 per month for clickfunnels anymore!!

Nothing yet! I just started using Memberpress so I haven't found anything to dislike yet but if I do I will come back and update my review.

I use memberpress to host my courses and online digital products for my coaching business. Its nice to have it integrated with my wordpress site and its not an extra website to log into to manage, its all centralized and east to use.

I love how it integrates seamlessly with my website! I also appreciate the ability to reach out and get answers to my questions when I'm not sure how to do something. The training that MemberPress provides when you join explains all of the important information you need, and it was not too complicated to set up because of all the information they provided. The Course part is my favorite, and it makes my courses look amazing and flow well!

So far the only issue I had was navigating the end date for subscriptions. Other than that, it's been great to use once I got everything set up! I wish that the way the payment button showed up to my users was a little nicer. I don't love the way it looks and the fact that it shows the price before you click to purchase. That is one thing I would change.

The biggest benefit is the ability to provide my course in a really nice, professional format. I also feel that it is user friendly from the customer's side once they get registered. I do wish there was more flexibility with the options for signing up. I don't like how the payment button shows up on my webpage. However, it was super easy to use with my PayPal, which was amazing.
