Memberpress makes my job as a developer so much easier than other course-building programs I've used in the past. The customizations are incredible for those who truly want a unique membership site. The drip settings for course is quite convenient as well!

I'd like to be able to customize the course pages a bit more. For my clients they need help with this part and they wish it was something they could do on their own.

Gives me the ability to showcase my skills to clients who may not have the budget to work with me but still want to see how the system works by taking one of my courses.

It's everything I need to work on my upcoming website project. It's an all-in-one solution to both things I need - Subscriptions and Courses.

It's a little expensive but I think it's worth it.

Subscription-based Downloads and the Online Course Add-On

It looks great straight out of the box with professional looking pages that are ready for customers to use after some basic data input.

It extensive functionality can be a bit bewildering perhaps but there are plaenty of instructional videos and support which help guide you through.

I have pages which use technology which is charged per view so I really need that protected and MemberPress does that.

We've been working diligently to create a supportive community for people who want to develop new intellectual property in the many worlds offered through genre entertainment. MemberPress gives us a way to build that community so it is self-contained and not scattered across various apps, websites and social networks with their own different rules and monetizing strategies.

Like all platforms, there is a learning curve - and the more robust services can be pretty intimidating. We also assume there will be some resistance among our community members - so we expect a learning curve.

We want to provide our members with a way to collaborate among themselves and create new stories and IP that can be shared with our community - and eventually distributed to the world through our marketing/distribution funnel. MemberPress allows us to facilitate mixing and matching members so they can get busy and start creating!

It's easy to install, easy to follow, and understand instructions to use it. I also really like all the features... perfect for my business.

Makes it easy to delegate and customize memberships for clients.

As with all plugins, configuration can be tedious the more complicated your needs.

It allows us to create subscription members with multiple types of users.

Easy to setup and membership managing. Setting up rules and grouping memberships is very easy and quick. Building a website to offer those kind of contents is quick and easy. Support is also very kind and clear.

Using course addon prevents custom css to be loaded in lesson pages. You could set them using code, but it's not so intuitive. It could be improved on this regard.

Memberpress gave me the opportunity to set up a learning offer for my brand. It was very easy to set up courses and rules in order to sell them and monitize with very low effort.

I find it very easy to configure different membership levels and restrict access to certain content.

Initial setup can be confusing, however, once you get it going it's easy from there.

Simple membership system that allows you to focus first on creating rather than anything else.

The best thing about MP is the customer service.

Super support, I always get a response from their team whenever I need something. They offer super-support, and their platform is easy to use and integrate. I built my website within two days and ran everything using Elementor.

Although it has many customization features and enables users to use custom CSS, I wish they had more customization within the Elementor plugin.

I did try their course option and found it lacking.

I wish I could upload big format videos directly on the memberpress courses because sometimes my files are way too heavy and I can't upload them straight to memberpress I need a youtube or other platform integration

They are making the process of creating online courses and programs so much easier and complete, I do everything from that place and everything flows. It's such a game changer for me running my business.

Customization Support Integrations Intuitive

Nothing to say; everything I have been using for the last couple of month was perfect.

I loved the fact that despite deleting my website 17 times and having to start over from scratch that once I added the memberpress plugin that those features would be there and easy enough with video how too for me to program myself

I wish there were a few more things that were customizable and i wish that you could set up icons for the types of membership and it would keep putting in that icon near that memebership title and that it keeps all the formating the same for those things

I dont have to pay a month fee to somone else who manages my stuff i can do what i want and when

After carefully comparing the features on several competitors, I determined that MemberPress stands out in having tightly-integrated features and a logical schema for all the various settings. The onboarding emails were (surprisingly) helpful in pointing out even some functionality I was not aware of, such as powerful limiting by IP Address and/or email domains. There are several nice features to optionally enhance the member's 'My Account' page. I especially like the flexibility that is possible in setting up Content Rules. Finally, every time I've needed to customize the display of pricing, I was pleased to see that MemberPress had already thought of it and provided an interface to achieve what I needed.

Perhaps the least-flexible part of MemberPress that I have found is generating Coupon/Discount codes. It can accomplish any straightforward, permanent discount. It can also allow for the first payment to be discounted from the subsequent ones. However, I was hoping to configure more complex discount codes that work for several months, before renewing at a 'regular' rate. This may be a limitation of the Stripe API, however.

MemberPress is allowing us to serve the account management needs of very different types of members: from individual subscribers, to departmental teams (with corporate & 'sub-accounts') as well as large, campus-wide institutions that prefer to authenticate with an IP-range. In addition, it has a level of customization in auto-generated email messages that we can deliver pleasant and cohesive brand communication.

When using Wordpress and having access to thousands of themes, any paid membership software you select must be adaptable for different issues when there's so many themes. Memberpress support, with their fast reply time and knowledgeable solutions has been why we've remained a customer.

The only thing I believe is missing from the software is access to easier editing of the core pages used for the operation.

No problems at this time but when our business expands to thousands of members, I'm sure the availability of a crisp and accurate database will be an accounting bonanza.

Easy to use .. It was really easy to configure my account, in just a couple of minutes I was able to start uploading my content. I really recommend that you have your content already created.

I had some problems to integrate with Wordpress but there is sufficient documentation you can consult. I recommend to download the documentation directly form MemberPress.

We were looking for a solution that could help us to share content (video/multimedia/courses) only for our Members. We try may ways like private sharing through youtube, google drive, selfhost video solutions. But any of them was a complete solution to track the content adoption of our members. With Member Press we find all the insights we were looking for like, user tracking, course creation, video performance, forum, link share, internal community and many more.

Memberpress is considered by many specialists as the best wordpress plugin, I did not wait long before deciding to use it. I have been using it for several years and advice to my clients who are never disappointed.

The last module they released on the online training lacks features, such as customization with a page builder

It is very simple to take in hand and build a member space where one can also sell its services and products, without having to install another plugin

It is quick and easy to set up. Can add this plugin to a website and have it up and running in an hour. Support is quick to respond and also easy to work with.

The plugin is lacking a few options but I think it will be additions that will come down the line.

MemberPress makes setting up membership websites very quick and easy. It benefits my clients because it is a single cost low cost that annually renews for a low cost.

MemberPress has made creating my membership website and courses the easiest thing to set up. Especially for someone who isn't as up to date on how to set up a website on my own. It's super easy to set up and I am really happy with all the features MemberPress offers. My favorite is the drip content feature for the course I offer. That's super hard to find but MemberPress offers it along with a great course creation platform and so many awesome features. They also provide great customer service! Whenever I needed help setting up my pages they were super prompt and detailed in their response to help me solve my problem. I am so happy and thankful for MemberPress!

There honestly isn't anything I dislike about MemberPress. This plugin was created really well. It requires a learning curve as with everything so that's not a big deal to me but maybe for some. The time I save with this plugin makes it all worth it. I guess maybe the price isn't the cheapest but for a year it's truly not that bad and you get so much value for what you pay for.

Setting up a secure membership website was something I did not know how to do on my own so this plugin makes that easy. It also offers a great course creation platform that provides the drip content feature I really wanted so that made me extremely happy. I also like that it helps provide sample pages for you to customize for easy set up.

A bit little stiff learning curve, but once you cross that, it becomes fun!

Easy to manage members, it does have all that I need to keep an eye on members/subscribers

The Developer edition gives you alot of tools to help you secure your wordpress site, allowing you to easily setup regular & subscription based memberships for your site with accepting money. This by far makes it worthwhile.

The only thing is the setup and cuzstomisation takes time as the theme/branding depends on your own skills and your own site setup and it would be nice to have different templates to use.

Our main usage of memberpress was setting up a multisite for different clinics with tailor made content for different user roles and integrating that with the rest of our applications. We had setup a point based system as well using memberpress to give users tokens and have their own membership profiles. The main tool that helped the most was the corporate memberships allowing you to setup multiple users under one company and sub users of each company.

A pretty simple recipe to get started. Customizable for multiple business categories but a strong focus on selling courses/communities. Built-in content protection, multiple payment integrations, etc.

We are 18 months in and have grown to 40,000+ members. MP handled most of what we through at it. The recommended integrations are mostly third-party, and you end up leaning heavily on them (increasing the pricing). Our biggest complaint at the moment is around a more robust checkout experience (ab testing, multiple subscription bundling, one-time physical good sales). Having a very hard time solving these challenges, but we are still happy with the platform.

High volume subscription management, restriction of content, billing through stripe and paypal. Lots of automation options if you are putting the time into solving problems. The next question is stupid, and reflects my challenges. We are not one of the options

I needed a membership site I could integrate into my Wordpress blog. A simply yearly subscription and plugin download from these guys has turned my blog into a fully-fledged business which allows me to work from home.

I have always struggled with coding, and although there are video demos and they are top notch, I do occasionally have a mind-blank moment where I have to ask support because there isn't a demo (well, it's happened twice in 2 years, so very infrequently - but I don't have any other dislikes so this gets it).

I already had a popular fitness blog, and as my audience grew I initially tried selling my workout programs as e-books (mainly because I'm tech-clueless!), but eventually wanted to progress to a monthly subscription which would give me a Members Area where people have access to ALL of my training programs for one price instead of purchasing them seperately as one time payments. Memberpress has given me exactly what I required!

It is both easy to use and one of the most fully-featured. Easy to set up, content access control, all the integrations you would want, easy payment gateway setup, and out-of-this-world customer support. I rarely have questions or needs with this plugin, but when I do, they are there for me.

The only limitation with this software is if you need a shop for selling digital or physical products. So for some specific use cases, MemberPress wouldn't be a good fit. But if you want to run a membership or sell courses - MemberPress is the best option on the market.

MemberPress helps me make dependable recurring income and build authority within my niche. It also helps me deliver my services in a way that was easy for me to setup but also easy for my customers too! My original MemberPress website - I was able to set it up in an afternoon! I saved time and made more money.
