Workflows
The state machine in the workflow is the best to design the workflow and change states.
The forms for O365 is bit restricted in certain aspects.
On boarding users, employee exit process and many more
I like the ability to create, edit or delete a workflow without having to use SharePoint Designer. The IDE is easy to use, and it includes actions for all of the common, and not-so-common functions that you would like to find in a workflow product. Workflow constants at a site and site collection level, plus local variables allow you to add flexibility and complexity where required. User Defined Actions expand that flexibility exponentially.
I'm not privy to our company's support contract details, so this may be a simple misunderstanding or a matter of a multi-tier support model. But I would like a phone number to call when I have a simple question, or maybe an instant chat feature on their website. The support I receive is always good, in the end. I just wish it was a little faster at times.
Nintex allows us to roll out simple workflow processing on a very large scale. We have 75+ sites, each with 15 content types, and all of which require a small amount of data processing in a high volume situation. The simplicity of using Nintex allows us to create many similar workflows that can be copied across the sites quickly and easily. Even a complete redesign on this scale is moving along quickly, from the decision point through the deployment.
Powerful integration, does what OOB SharePoint can't, without needing development knowledge
Limited licensing in the cloud. This stifles workflow creation and limits ROI opportunities.
None currently - we are early with our SPO deployment
Very user friendly and you an do almost everything without any coding
Online version sucks due to lot of limitations which I did not face in on prem version
No code solution, easy to manage and portable
Lazy approval feature State machine feature
Repeate work on all task forms when new update came.
Many businesses problems solved by implementing workflows that are related to the company employs and our customers
The Nintex Workflow Platform simplifies several key operations that would otherwise take our developers a significant amount of time to complete.
While user-friendly, it does take a decent amount of training and experimentation to really get the value from the platform.
Simplified user onboarding and equipment provisioning.
Stable and reliable solution and works at enterprise solutions.
Product is bit expensive hence not possible for small scale companies to use the solution.
we use in DMS application, SP workflow couldn't solve our custom needs.
Designer is good Mailing service is very rapid
Too limite for workflow dimension Problem with external source sql
Workflow to manage process pf request pf quotation
learning and knowledgeable product learning and knowledgeable product
it's still in very early stage to criticize the product.
usability and creating complex workflows is easy to find the issues .
It is very easy to implement, easy to send notification and easy to configure
Debugging functionality needs to be improved, assume i wanted to test fn-DateDiffDays(y1,y2), there was no online or inside nintex any feature that I could test its result, the only was to get it through email.

Drawloop PDF generation, e signature and
I like most of the features of Nintext platform. Nothing dislike
PDF generation with existing data and e-sign
The tools offers some good complexity with fairly simple steps in most cases.
the licensing model maxes it really hard to adopt enterprise wide
mainly automating manual tasks
I like the integration capabilities within nintex which allowed us to quickly design business automation solutions adding great value to the firm in terms of increasing users productivity
Nintex forms should have a web interface and more flexibility to choose backend sources
manual workflow and data validation which are prone to data risks.
The greatest benefit I've experienced using Nintex is the ability to insanely quickly create forms!
I wish I could script some of the workflow automation behavior myself.
I am helping improve the quality of a formerly manual business process by digitizing major portions of it. The benefit is in the reproducibility, robustness, & reliability of the process outcomes.
Just drag and drop action, no need code skill
Workflow can't be use for web application outside SharePoint framework
Automation, Electronic approval. Efficiency & Effectiveness
Updated workflow designer - The ability to build out a WF without having to configure until later
Variations between web browsers- Not able to design workflows in FireFox - Subforms have no close button in Chrome
A wide range of accounting/finance applications
that you can make easy changes quickly without too much downtime
the fact that you cannot have sequels on the mobile app is disappointing
governence at the company
Mostly the fact that I can generally make forms or workflows do whatever I want/need. The diversity of the functionality is nice.
The limitations, mostly. Having to use Javascript or CSS manipulation to do simple things that most websites can handle.
Safety\Incident Reporting and Workflow Processes. HR personnel authorization forms, etc.
Good for visualising high level processes
Not as effective with complex multichannel non-linear process flows
Accessibility of information on processes to a broader audience across the organization not just the immediate functional teams
