Super excited to have Pictory in the tool box. I’ve been waiting a while for something just like this. Uploading webinars and extracting teaser clips for social is a breeze. And being able to edit a video by editing the script. Amazing. Those are my primary use cases. Thanks for an amazing product.

A little bit of an initial learning curve.

This is going to save me a ton of time creating social clips.

The platform makes it extremely easy to take a blog post and turn it into a video. Nearly the entire process is automated with AI, making it a breeze. A video that used to take me 3 hours to complete now takes less than 30 minutes for the same thing!

There's not a lot to dislike, but of the few things I'm not liking after using the app for a while is that they release updates a little too often without proper testing. Occasionally it will break things and make it challenging to work with the platform.

I am turning long-form blog content into a video for marketing and ranking on YouTube. The benefit is that now I can reach a whole new audience without spending a lot of time creating new content. I can easily create video content out of an already published blog post.

The developers are really in tune with the users; they actually anticipate needs before we ask. This product delivers more than I ever imagined.

I can't think of anything right now, but when I do, I'll pass it along to developer Abid Mohammed, and he will be all over it.

Video editing is all so far

Pictory is brilliant for putting together video projects with the power of AI. I love the story editor, the automatic voice overs, the stock videos and the music!

The things that I've disliked I've been able to bring up to the creators and they take action on! For example, I wanted to have shorter pauses in the voice over between scenes. Within a few days they launched a new release updating this!

I am really happy with this product! It's such a time saver! I had a video that was over 1 hour long and I wanted to make a short video of the most important information in the video. This tool allowed me to easily make a short, 5-minute video within minutes. now I can also easily convert my blogs/articles, scripts & images into a quality video. Brand settings is great, I can set all my intros, outros, fonts & colors to repeatedly use in my videos.

It helps me convert my long videos into short highlights within minutes which saves me a lot of time and effort, It also helps me edit my course videos.

t was easy to make the long content into a short video. The video quality was too high. Production of the video also in less than 6 minutes. This way we can save a lot of time. Transcriptions are working so well on this platform. I edit videos daily, and this made my all days wonderful. Thanks for the whole team. However, the ompany roadmap looks so promising, and grabbing Pictory now is a good investment in existing features, and this defiently had a bright future. There are also the other sections of creating videos, which to be honest I didn't give a try, but have had a play around with.

All was good but one thing I need to say that is to improve the text styling otherwise overall a good deal.

I can copy and paste a URL into Pictory, and convert regular text into short informative videos without spending tons of valuable time in the process.

Some languages like Spanish are still under development, but the roadmap looks promising, so this is a temporary pain that will be resolved.

I can repurpose existing content into video, with subtitles and multilingual capabilities. It saves me hours and hours of work, and it´s making a difference in the way my web visitors interact with content and convert.

The main reason I purchased Pictory was to repurpose my written content into video. I really enjoy using their "text-to-video" feature, especially as you can upload your own images and even record your own voice over. The tool is intuitive to use and I know it will get even better over time. The ability to edit video by editing text --- wow, this is incredible! Highly recommend if you want a quick, easy way to use more video in your content creation process.

The main benefit I've experienced thus far is the ability to repurpose written content - from blog snippets to Instagram captions - into short videos for primarily Instagram stories but you can also use it for YouTube, LinkedIn and more. You spend so much time writing blogs and captions, so why not extend the lifetime of your written content by creating videos? That's is where the attention is at.

I love the tool. It's a very promising one indeed ad there’s no single doubt about that. Despite this, AI isn't quite at its best when it comes to selecting relevant texts for summaries or relevant images and clips for scenes. Currently, text-to-speech functionality is limited. It would be awesome if the platform was integrated with better text-to-speech platforms, such as Wellsaid Labs and Lovo Studio It would be a major Plus to have the following features implemented: ♥ The ability to import a voiceover that covers all slides rather than one per slide. ♥ Additional fonts and the ability to add custom fonts ♥ Transcription Module having the capability to access YouTube content in addition to the regular video uploads. ♥ The ability to create clips from highlights in each project. ♥ Organize projects and upload files in folders

This is a great tool for business owners who want to create video content, but don't have the time or budget to do so. With Pictory, I can easily create professional videos that will not only provide my customers with a quality product, but also increase my brand awareness and reach. The editing tools are easy and quick to use, and I love the transcription function which allows me to quickly and easily record my thoughts and share them with my audience.

Pictory UI is very intuitive. I was able to quickly jump in and use the Article to Video module for my existing blog posts. The Ai b-roll video selection isn't the best but the ability to perform a refined search for a replacement video was easy. The additional tweaking necessary to create a usable video still requires less time than having to manually go to a stock video website, download the asset, then import to a video editing program, and then match it with a specific sentence. The edit videos with voice using text feature is fantastic. The ability to quickly edit out all the filler words is fantastic. The cut is a little abrupt, but it's better than hearing the filler word. I was also able to trim down an existing video asset to include only highlights at record time. Before, I had to remember certain sections of the video to cut. Now, I can quickly skim through the script and highlight the key talking points in the video and voilà, done and done. I love it.

Inability to use pre-recorded voiceover for all slides. (I currently have to use another text to speech software for each slide) this just takes too long. I ended up just using Pictory text to speech voice out of frustration. At least there is one usable voice that doesn't sound too robotic.

The major problem Pictory solves was the amount of time wasted having to first identify the main keywords of my blog post and then locate videos in stock websites that match the keywords. I will then have to copy the content from my blog post into a text to speech SaaS and then export to my computer and import to Davinci resolve to a timeline. I will then have to upload the stock videos to Davinci Resolve and then trim to match the specific sentence. The entire process takes almost an hour. Although, with Pictory, the process takes less than 20 minutes tops.

It's the easy video editing software I've ever used. it's quicker than other software on the market. It saves me a lot of time in the editing process.

There are a few things I'd like to see Pictory improve; Need user adding custom fonts. It would allow the use of content in Thai, helping content owners and related marketing. No folders to organize projects and upload.

It's saved me a lot of time in the editing process, which is extremely valuable to me as a small business owner.

- Provides features similar to Descript. You can edit a video by deleting words from the transcription of the video! - Stock footage avaialble and is used by the AI, which smartly selects the approrpriate stock footage to match your video script. - Ability to quickly create shorter snippets of a long video by the AI automating what it thinks are the highlights of the video and generating just those parts.

- It does take a bit of time to render the videos so I hope to see a bit of a speed improvement or optimization in this area. - There are some bugs and glitches here and there that I'm sure can be ironed out with time. My uploaded videos don't show up in the preview - although it is visible in the final downloaded version.

These days, we have so many social media platforms to use and blog posts to write that it's really hard to keep up with everything as someone who creates content. This tool combines the features of several other tools under one roof to providue you with multiple options for how you can generate video. What it especially excels at is formatting longform blog content into short video snippets - which is something that most video creation tools out there right now can't do withou a complicated and tedious process with a lot of manual labor on our part.

It is a very simple tool to use and has almost no learning curve while also having essential features for the media management of various kinds.

Everything is okay given how early the product is at the moment however better quality output will matter in the long run along with an easy user experience

Creating vidos out of blogs

I like how Pictory does a lot of things really well. I have replaced several items of software because Pictory does them in one package. As an example, I can edit my videos based on voice, I can create videos based on a script, I can also create videos based on existing blog content. All of these use cases help me pair down my monthly subscriptions.

I need more ease of use when it comes to editing the subtitles created by the script to video. I would also like voiceover for the entire video, and not simply on a scene-by-scene basis (but this is highly appreciated). Finally, any ways to speed up my workflow would be great.

We can re-purpose a lot of our content in video format within a short period.

The user interface is easy to use and once you grasp text to video feature that lees text is more, you can product professional videos in about an hour.

The AI voices certinaly the UK English versions, sound too synthercised ti use for business videos.

I've been using Pictory to create short videos and it's been an amazing experience. Its really good as it eliminates my use of creating videos manually. I can now use voice and images and videos to create a short. This is has significantly helped me in creating short tutorials for my work. It reduces a lot of time and increases productivity. Its very beginner friendly and takes no time to understand. Its quick and easy to use.

I felt it need to add a few automation features. Its tiring to do all the work but there are few places which can be automated with a switch if the user wants to. Also, quality and new templates should be added regularly if not a community section to add those.

It helps me in creating a short tutorial video which doesn't require someone's specific voice. There are a lot of options to use it and has helped me create videos which saved time and money for my company.

Easy for a beginner to use. Not a complex interface and should be easy to use for any new user to master very quickly.

Id like the tool to be a one-time purchase however, I think they do have a lifetime option.

You will never encounter a copyright claim. It has a wide selections of video clips, images, and songs. Easily record your own voice straight in the app or choose from a selection of voices. There's no need for other software to be installed. it will run smoothly in every computer since it's being operated in the cloud.

I find it hard sometimes to navigate the tools.

My editing work is much aided by it. Time is greatly reduced.

Fundamentally, you don't really have to edit. Just paste in your transcript, make a few clicks and it MAGICALLY makes the video with AI voiceover! Oh and it can transcribe text FROM an uploaded video and you can edit that video by deleting words from the text!

It needs better AI voices, like from Google or Microsoft. But apparently, that's in the roadmap!

Mass producing videos without spending HOURS editing!

This tool has been great for me. I use it to create short videos for my blog posts. I love that I only have to upload my text and then the software does the rest. I have been able to create videos in just a few minutes that have helped my blog reach new audiences. I now have a more consistent presence on social media and my blog is more visible.

I would like to have better limits, and also more languages to create different kind of videos.

Easy of use, for sure. And also the amount of time saved in creating videos at scale. Once we have multiple options, we can edit the scenes and customize them.

Able to convert long-form written content into video quickly. Create trailers from my longer videos. Access to licensed video content which can be easily added to my projects.

Limited to one brand colour selection for the account but I think this will change as the software develops further.

Fast video creation using your existing written blog content. Helps with creating video content for all social media platforms. Resizes video to fit the aspect you need like vertical, square or 16x9 formats. Benefits are you can create and download multiple edits of one longer video or multiple smaller videos created from one longer piece of written content. This saves me a lot of time with creating content for social media.

Pictory is very easy to use. UI/UX are clean and minimal with almost no learning curve to get started right away. The A.I. to create a video from text or blog on the go is very handy. However, some fine tunning is necessary since depending on the content being created, the recommended images or video may not be suitable. Nonetheless, it is easy enough to find other recommended alternatives, or replacing it ourselves with what we want to upload. What I like most is the ability to edit video by text and the transcription with great accuracy. This is a real time saver for me, and I think it is the strong point of this tool for my use case.

- A.I. are still not that great in term of selecting appropiated media. But this could be the limitation of the stock available. Some topics get good selections while some get unusable ones. -Text-to-Speech voices are still limited but usable. Anyway, more options in the future would be welcomed. - More languages please. As of now, it is very accuracy for English, but it please add Thai also. - The text editing options are very basic. - No team function for collaboration.

Pictory can get trabscriptions done fast with great accuracy. I can edit video via text easily, and this alone makes the tool a must-have for me. The A.I. to create quick video from blogs/text is cherry on top.

Pictory allows me to upload videos that I want to take notes on. I can highlight specific portions of the video that are important o me. Branding is customizable in Pictory.

Uploading a video file over 60 minutes takes a while. I had an error while uploading & had to start over again. Hopefully, the team can work on speed.

Transcribing videos that are important to me. I can give video links to my students. They can see the notes that were taken from a video.
