Riverside makes remote recording incredibly simple and intuitive. Podcast hosts and producers can easily schedule, record, and produce their podcasts in Riverside without a lot of heavy lifting. The audio and and video look and sound great, and Riverside is always adding powerful new features.
There's not much to dislike. Whenever we have any issues, which is rare, Riverside is quick to respond and provide solutions.
We have podcast hosts and producers scattered across the country. Riverside makes the podcast production workflow simple and smooth, no matter where the host, guest, or producer is located. It also allows us to easily share the worklaod among multiple team members
The software is easy to learn and use. My first recording had 15 minutes missing at the end and I was so stressed out about it. I reached out to support and they helped me so quickly. The backup recording was perfect and I was able to launch my podcast on time. Since joining they have upgraded their editing and provide a transcript which is very helpful. I highly recommend Riverside for anyone who wants to start a podcast.
There are glitches with the primary videos sometimes, but having the backup recordings takes away the frustration. I would prefer not to have to deal with glitches, but I believe the company provides enough copies of the recordings so that there are options, and that gives me hope..
It gives me a user-friendly option for recording and editing audio and video for my podcast. It was the most user-friendly platform that I tried. I was referred by another user, who I am so thankful for telling me about Riverside.

We are able to pull our podcast together quickly and professionally, even though we are all in different locations.
I love that it records locally, so any wifi hiccups aren't caught in the recording. I also love the ability to mark the video at certain spots (creating the clips).
Downloading the clip info isn't very intuitive.
If we'd like to record someone remotely and they haven't got a great wifi connection, Riverside is a fantastic choice, since it records locally.
How easy it is to use, and the quality of the final output. Ah! And also recently the captions feature, amazing!
How import media works and that I cannot add media in the middle of a clip, just before or after.
I am doing my videopodcast and it works perfectly.
I love that it does not matter how weak either participants internet might be - because it records to the browser first it can finish the upload to Riverside even after recording is finished. This is amazing for Digital Nomads with iffy internet. I use Riverside at least 3x per week. It's super easy to use and is 100% browser based with nothing to install.
Nothing, their service is very good. They even helped me recover some deleted recordings when I lost them from my computer after downloading!!
I have a Podcast that I release 3 episodes a week for, so I use Riverside to record all my remote interviews through.

I do a podcast with my colleague remotely. Riverside helps us record this, edit this, add our watermarks, add intro-outro and upload it to Spotify and Youtube.
Incredibly easy to use both for me and for my guests, and great quality with basic editing and sound improvements within the platform.
I wish it were easier to split audio and video at every stage. You have to download in a specific sequence to be able to download audio only.
