All the information is in one place. I can add notes in the chatter, see all the invoices, and log emails.
I don't like how when I need to highlight and copy/paste something, I can't always see it clearly. It's a very light light blue and it's not easy to see if I have everything highlighted. It annoys me. I don't like how I can't paste and image directly into the chatter. I have to screenshot it, save it, then attach it and it's time consuming and annoying. I don't like how when I scroll through an account or an opportunity, it is difficult to see where I'm at on the page. All the font is the same and it's difficult to navigate. I end up scrolling a lot to find what I am looking for. I don't like how it takes forever to sync to woo commerce sometimes. I don't like how I have to use my personal phone for the authentication purposes. I don't like how when a new case comes in, it doesn't always show the account or order number that it's linked to. I don't like how orders are called opportunities. When we have to chatter or talk about it, its just an annoying and unclear word to use. Can we please just call it an order?? Opportunity is too long to type out and say. When you have to say it or type it several times a day it's just irritating. I don't like how it shows multiple orders open in one page as often we get them mixed up and make errors. It would be helpful to color code them or something. Make it clear which one I most recently looked at. I'm sorry but there are so many things I don't like about SF!!
I don't really see that we've solved any problems. It's made things more complicated. Asana was so much easier to view and use.
possibilité d’amélioration continu et souplesse de programation
il faut tout maitriser a la perfection pour reussir a utiliser le systeme
dispatch, booking, CSR,
Work saves automatically, and editing information keeps you on the same page rather than reloading everything. The older platform used to have you save everything you did before moving to anything else, or you would lose everything. Sending list emails and uploading contacts is now much more streamlined.
Speed of the platform can be extremely slow. There are some features missing that make some work time consuming. Like rejecting leads, or moving them to a new status. It has to be done one by one, rather than doing them all at once. I still sometimes have to switch to Classic Salesforce to get something done at a faster speed
Working in sales, campaigns of current prospects are clearly visible, and know exactly what I'm supposed to be doing with each contact.
I like that it is very customizable, you can search and find people easily. It’s pretty user friendly.
I do not get email notifications if a case is urgent so at times I forget there are any that are priority
It’s great to have backup of all requests and documentation so that you can see all activity and time talked to student in one place.
Merging records is much easier in Lightning compared to classic.
It's not aesthetically pleasing. There is too much white space, it hurts my eyes. This is the main reason I continue to work in Classic.
Unfortunately none. I would have to use it more often.
I like that they’ve created a base for all customers to exist and be referenced to in one system.
I dislike the constant glitching and need for additional triggers to be created.
We wanted a database for over 100 employees to access our customer’s information.
It's fast and has ok tools on board to help you. It's fairly easy to navigate but user support is hard to get to. I have to go through my IT dept.
Lots of having to request add ons and it's not really user savvy for me. A lot of redundant field and duplicates. Too many tabs. I think we should be able to personalize them.
Its really frustrating and to get something integrated takes too long for me. It shouldn't be this hard.
I like how most information is readily available for us. We have created a "Vital Stats" section of the software that pulls the most pertinent information about a customer and is posted at the top of the opportunity/contact/account. This is incredibly useful for us. We use to use Zendesk to send emails and having to function out of both made things incredibly cumbersome. We can now function out of just one and have our work speed greatly increased.
The speed of the software is very frustrating for us. The old Salesforce was incredibly fast with the drop down menus. Now we have to wait for the page to load to change any thing about the clients information.
Keeping track of clients information is very nice, everyone is always on the same page and we can reference notes about clients quickly and effectively. The benefits are seen on the customers side. We are able to reference old notes about these people and make them feel like we actually care. The customer experience is greatly improved because of Salesforce Lightning.
I like that it does have many functionalities and sections in order to track everything that has happened within a case, ranging from RMAs, customer details, relevant knowledge articles, etc
I dislike the view, about two years ago this view was changed from an easy to understand view to one which is not very intuitive and where things need to be selected and changed accordingly to what you want. While this allows for more functionalities, it's not very efficient when trying to see all the information at once.
Salesforce is used with certain clients to provide them with customer support and access all their information and their requests, such as replacements. The solution that this provides is that it would be all integrated.
Most information that is input about a customer is searchable
Integration of customer accounts is faulty. Search feature not always accurate.
Benefit is communication with customers
Salesforce can be customized to your business needs and workflows. This flexibility makes it extremely useful.
The main problem with Salesforce is that its native reporting tool is not very powerful. Since every report needs a "report type" its very limiting in terms of the number of objects you can reference. There is also a limit to how powerful its dashboards and visualizations are.
We wanted a CRM system that aggregated our data from various different sources and different business verticals in a single spot. Salesforce has done that for us successfully.
Salesforce has multiple capabilities. The software is effective in making businesses more organized.
I do not like that Salesforce takes time to find things.
I am solving communication problems with Salesforce. Everyone is on the same page and this saves time.
The interface is modern and easy to see. No lag when moving to a different screen.
There are not enough tops when creating cases for when you have to go back to do research. Also difficult to check the time and date in the call log.
It’s nice to be able to move to multiple customers profiles in one window.
simple and intuitive also very easy to track leads through opportuniies
didn't really like the reporting function...making custom reports oculd have been simpler
tracking end-to-end lead to order, order to cash process
I like that almost everything lives in the same place.
I dislike that we have to write the number of cycles as well as start and end dates of a campaign when contracting.
We are making sure no more than one AE is working the same accounts.
Salesforce is a decent CRM system and helps us track our communications with leads and contacts. Sometimes the search function is a mind reader and will search for the right term even when I mistype it. The dashboards offer a nice snapshot of what the team is doing.
Duplicate detection and record updating is not terribly easy, search is not always intuitive either - I would hope that if I typed in something like "meadow" it would show me records that included "meadows" or another variation of the word. I'd also be able to select most records at one time to bulk manage (like change owner or add to a campaign).
Customer contact, lead nurturing efforts and sales force activities.
Great tracking on individual serial numbers along with case creation for RMAs.
I dislike our platform integration between sage and salesforce. Encounter many errors.
Have realized the benefit of tracking user's contributions along with easy editing.
The ease of use and comprehensive features and integrations with major ERP solutions makes it a great investment for the team.
Sometimes there are duplicate data sets
Makes accessing real time data from other systems/ directory possible
Salesforce is able to handle a lot of data and allows for different ways to organize the data. There are also options for data visualizations, which are really helpful.
I dislike how the user interface is not very intuitive. The interface design definitely needs a refresh, and there should be more tutorials on how to use the platform efficiently.
At my company, we are using Salesforce to keep track of our clients, and their information. The benefit of Salesforce is that it allows for integration with a numerous amount of other platforms.
Salesforce is used at most companies, so there's a lot of shared learnings that you can bring to your next company. You can add on almost anything to it and make it your own, and it's super customizable. Having a good Salesforce admin can make your life so much better. And there's a ton of data you can store.
At every company it becomes cluttered. They should make a person's job Salesforce cleanup, because it allows you to make multiple duplicate entries for each company and it's terrible to sift through. Which one is the real one? Some companies have one contact, other's have another, but it's the same company. They shouldn't allow you to make duplicate entries or give you an easy way to get rid of them.
We store all of our customer data, use it for reachout and sales tracking, integrate with Zoom to log calls, and export our data to Totango for Customer Success.
Salesforce lightning has all of the features of classic Salesforce and does appear to lay the data out in a way that makes logical sense. It also has a cartoon that moves while data is loading up.
It just isn’t that fast. Not sure if it’s an interface difference but the previous version of Salesforce that our company used seemed to load data faster.
Tracking proposal to contracts. The system does fine on this front. We’d like to use dashboards abs build out those features some more.
I like the wide gambit of functions the software offers. The functions are applicable to a broad range of departments.
Training for advanced function in the software is extensive. While the broad functionality is a plus, not all of the functions are foolproof. It is easy to make errors that can cause confusion later on.
Salesforce helps us manage relationships and workflow. It helps us track organizational data and make decisions based on our history.
I like the simplicity of the screen set up. It is much more user friendly than classic.
My first thought is it takes longer to update than Classic did. We were just upgraded in September so I am still in the processing the pros and cons.
Accessing the data more frequently in Lightning.
It is easy to use in its simplest format.
It easily gets messy and because its a shell that each company build out to their needs, as your needs change it's hard to understand what you can undo.
client management, keeping track of every connection.
Absolutely everything. Salesforce is so customizable and there are so many plugins available you could do whatever is needed
I dislike the size of the font on a mobile device
Making it easier to connect reps with clients
The dashboard in this version of SF is very easy to navigate. It is clean, concise, and keeps you up to date on your tasks and sales performance. It is much easier to add tasks, contacts and other events into the system.
It is really tough to move from the old platform to this platform. I've had difficulty accessing reports that we typically use on a daily basis. We also cannot make campaigns anymore. This may not be a SF for Lightning issue but a change in settings.
This is the CRM tool that we use within our sales team. We mange all opportunities and accounts out of SF. The benefits are seen in our ability to track our opportunities and all communications with our clients.
The Ability to customize forms, views, and input and viewing screens is great.
We are on a grandfathered price rate, and due to that we have limited capabilities for logical expressions and other necessary items.
Before Salesforce, there was no real way to run data on any given period or search entry. After Salesforce, a quick report can be made for anything anyone is looking for.
standardization across platform allow easy access
expensive to use. upfront cost too much .
single sign on
Platform independent makes this tool unique.
Need more features and options for usability.
Operational challenges
ease of use and implementation of the product
we liked everything about it during and after the implementation
we wanted a simple solution for identity management
