Easy to use, feature-rich but not too complicated to setup.
I would like an export feature so that way I can just export my settings and use the same settings on multiple websites.
Website speed.
I have installed shortpixel to my Wordpress site and it works in the background, and doesn't bug me. All of my photos look perfect, but are much smaller in size (byte wise).
Nothing really, it does what it says, doesn't get in the way, and does it fast.
If you need to reduce the size of your images on your website then you should really look into Shortpixel. It really helped out my speed, and the amount of data on my site.

No downside for me except that I missed their LTD

1 button. That's all it took. Once I connected it with my WP theme, I clicked one button and ShortPIxel gave me 2x the space.
I can't say I dislike anything in particular. IF I had to complain, the web interface is a little dated now, but then again, I like retro too.
I experienced zero problems.
So I've used several different apps and plugins to help me reduce image size in the past few years and ShortPixel is the best. My favorite thing about ShortPixel would have to be how simple it is to use. It's clear-cut, anyone who knows what they're looking for is going to know that this thing is strong and quick. Their pricing plans are reasonable and if you are looking for a quick and easy to free up some site bandwidth then the Shortpixel compression is for you.
So far I've had no real qualms with the ShortPixel app. I would say that more detailed reporting for the compression would be needed but it would be purely tertiary information.
Image optimization and site speed.
Shortpixel's user-friendly interface makes it easy to install and connect to Cloudflare to deliver compressed images over a CDN. Shortpixel compresses images and all possible versions and drastically reduces the image size. Shortpixel converts images to deliver them in next-gen format.
I do not like Short Pixel's limit of 100 images, although you can increase the limit by purchasing monthly or one-time credits on the Short Pixel website.
Shortpixel has improved the loading of my WordPress websites and reduced the loading time. It helps me deliver my content quickly on any network.
Simple and easy to use. You can use it for free.
Only 100 images optimization is available per month on the free plan.
It will reduce image size and improve website speed. You can see it on Google PageSpeed Insights.
It provides very simple and easy to use compression methodologies as per our needs. I also like its wordpress plugin it helped me easily optimize complete website inages at the click of a button. I personally use glossy compression techniques as it provides the balance between lossy and lossless.
Sometimes images will have grainy texture after compression which sometimes doesn't look good to use on any platform. And in plugin optimization there is a daily limit which you can optimize.
Yes definitely short pixel is helping in improving website speed by easy compression techniques. Thereby improving the website loading time. It also helps in compressingimages in bulk. Also helped in lazy loading
Shortpixel is very easy to use and has integration with WordPress that can help bloggers like me to easily compress images on our blog. it also offers a generous free plan for beginners.
It has multiple WordPress plugins that can confuse newbie people that are starting out and don't have knowledge.
Short pixel helped me in automatic image optimization on my blog.
It helped a lot with the website's page speed optimization. The perfect image CDN that helps users load images quickly at their end and ultimately improves the website's performance.
There is not much to dislike in this tool but yes, a few users might find it quite tricky setting up, and images' backup will consume the server's space.
It helps with images optimization and compression. The best part is it offers automatic bulk optimization, which is my favorite. It also shows image optimization stats for transparency.
Just set up the plugin, and image optimization will be automated on our WordPress website. They have several different payment options, including one-time credit packages and monthly packages.
I really don't have any complaints at this time.
I currently use Shortpixel on my WordPress site to compress images convert them in webp format, and remove the EXIF information.
ShortPixel is one of the best plugins I've used for WordPress. While most plug-ins do roughly the same thing, this one seems to give the best results not only in compression, but also in pagespeed delivery.
The credits and costing can be a little more complex than some of the free plugins / unlimited use plugins that are newer to the market. But performance-wise, this is still a staple in my toolbox.
ShortPixel optimization really comes in handy on sites where we have multiple administrators who don't understand image pre-processing. This way, we don't have to worry about whether or not they resize, compress, etc...
Just a few buttons and you are set. I like the simplified workflow.
Nothing as such. It is a great platform and suits my budget.
It works as a plugin in my Wordpress site and optimizes image on the backend without any manual intervention.
The UI is clean. The option to optimize image through URL is probably the best feature. Not a lot of software out there which allows you to compress through url
Its nothing major but i think sometimes the optimization takes a little bit of time. Cant think of any other cons apart from this.
For small businesses, Shortpixel is the best image optimization tool you can find in market. Decent prized and has all the features.
After trying out many image optimizers, I found shortpixel.com provide image optimization without loosing any Quality at the best value for money. It has multiple file options which are supported.
Shortpixel WordPress plugins are easy to use, but some images load slow. I need to recheck when the plugin is updated.
I am so happy with Shortpixel; it is easy to use and has helped me optimize images on the website. Website loads much quicker than before, and I don't have to worry about optimizing manually for every image.
You can drag and drop images/pictures/pds into the box and they get uploaded straight away. Also there are 3 options for you to choose from (Lossless, Glossy and Lossy) - so that you can decide what is your priority: quality vs size
I would love for Shortpixel to introduce the possibility to make even more granular choices of compression. The best would be to install a slider and thus make it possible to choose exactly what output image and quality I'd like to get (vs only 3 options available now). Also, their Shopify plugin which I heavily count on had some issues and I couldn't use it. I hope they sort it out in the future so that it's automatically compresses chosen files
I've used Shortpixel multiple times over and over again and I'm still using it almost everyday to minimize existing pictures/photos/designs that I've created or downloaded. I also use the output files on most of my websites. This saves a lot of GBs of traffic on the server (along with using Cloudflare).
It compress the image better than all competitor plugins available for wordpress. What I most liked about this software is that it doesn't reduce image quality.
It's webp front end display for wordpress isn't working properly along with wp rocket cache plugin. It produces webp and original extension of the image on web browser.
It reduce my images perfectly and add less load on bandwidth. It helps in seo as my website load faster.
Shortpixel is based on a software as a service model and image optimization is offered via API from the cloud. My favorite features are - WordPress plugin, adaptive images wp plugin, reducer API, and short pixel App for zapier.
For 100 Images/month is free but after that, we need to pay or buy a subscription-like - $3/month for 7000 Images, $8/month for 16000 images and so on.
Recently got this and replacing the other images compression tolls on all of my and my client's websites, Shortpixel reduces my lots of task and efforts. WordPress plugins are just awesome! for me. Love these tools, Highly recommended.
The fact that there is no file size limit for shortpixel
I can't think of anything uninteresting about shortpixel
With shortpixel I greatly reduce the size of my files without any noticeable difference in the quality.
Shortpixel is the perfect addon to any site that cares about image optimisation and performance. Their new adaptive image technology is a game changer.
Shortpixel hasn't yet developed a direct integration with elementor although they have with Brizy. I hope to see them forming similar partnerships.
Shortpixel understands that we all love adding images to our sites but nobody wants to spend hours in photoshop tweak sizes and resolutions. ShortPixel takes care of all of these annoyances for you.
