The only counter is you cannot compress the thumbails on one quality and the other images on other quality. Would love if they add remove backup like wpcompress I try the cdn and hate it, not good and they go expensive. I do recomend avoid that

We realized at one point that the images on one of our site wasn't getting optimzed at all. We had to contact them and they have fixed it for us. But eventually since we realized the url wrapping around the images effects seo slightly we have stopped using the service.
It's all done in the cloud. No need to reupload a bunch of images. It can be done either with their wordpress plugin or through their site

I have used multiple apps to try to help me reduce sizes in images over the past few months and so far short pixel has been one of the better ones. I like the pricing plans the most as they aren’t too pricy like a few I’ve seen.
Since I just started using it, I haven’t had any time to find any issues yet. So far everything is pretty self explanatory since I do have experience in softwares like these
Because of the image optimization things have become easier since I have plenty space left
Its interface is easy to use, I used it as the WordPress plugin, easy to use, and one-click optimization for 1000s of images. It's the ability to remove EXIF data just by checking the box in the settings. I also love that it can convert pictures to WebP.
The thing I most dislike about short pixel is, it won't remove the big images from the server even though there is an option for it and when rechecking those files will get compressed again creating more files and wasting credits. Sometimes already optimized images will load again.
The Main Problem with my client's website was, "It was slow" and the main reason is, the images on the website, there were 1000s of Images and each image has a size of 2-4 MB. So we use ShortPixel to compress and optimize those images and it did the job, instead of manually doing it, one-click completes the work, and also WebP conversion is an amazing feature, it boosts website speed as well as SEO
