It's a huge time saver and very simple to use.

There is nothing I dislike. I see no downsides.

It was always a nightmare keeping track of my time. This is not disruptive to my day and I can run a report with all of the information I need to fulfill my time tracking requirements.

I love how simple it is to use and the way it's set up actually makes working a little more fun!!

I had no way to accurately count my time working on hourly projects. I was doing it by hand! Toggl makes it so easy, organized, and I love the reports that I can send to my clients. Much more professional!

I dislike the fact that 'idle time' includes when you are in conference call, client call or simply watching a webinar

Accurate analysis of my time ensuring that hours committed to are used and I not spending extra time where there is no revenue income for it. I can be sure that I am spending my time most effectively.

Easy to understand. The interface isn't overloaded and quite clean. Love the feature for separating projects and weekly reports.

I charge for my time. So I need to capture it. Toggl Track allows me to set up Clients, and Projects within Clients, so I can do just that

I measure the exact time every client or projects takes, literally EVERY activity. I compare weekly reports to see if I'm doing good or bad on each one, or if something takes too much time.

Chrome Integration is very helpful as well as the iPhone integration on start screen.

I easily forget to turn off the clock. The email reminder is helpful but it would be great to get an on-screen notification like Netflix ("still watching?") which might help to have less editing later on.

Tracking time for clients and for myself on private projects. It is easy to use, simple reporting. After using a few different tools over the years, I find Toggl is still the most convenient also on the phone as an integration on the start screen

We have some contracts with payments based on work hours. Toogl helps us a lot to track the hours throughout the month and have the reports ready to invoice!

Support on many platforms (android, Linux desktop, web app, Google Calendar and many more places) Ease of use (easy to create, start, edit and entry, assign project... Weekly reports showing summary of time per project Calendar view - now I have more precise feeling when I work and when I need to relax.

Nothing to dislike. Really. All works as it should.

Tracking my time. I see better, how I spend the time, what was "time cost" of activites I did not anticipate before. Calendar view allowed me to learn, when during the day I work easily and when I need to relax. Very motivating to stay focused and to take a break to keep my productivity on reasonable level.

Toggl Track is just an amazing program. Though I use a free account I can still manage my hours and do the necessary adjustments. A fantastic program! To be recommended to everyone.

The least helpful is the fact that I can't do everything that is possible with a paid account.

Toggl Track is helping me get a good overview of the hours I work for the various customers. It keeps good track records even into the seconds.

User experience in general is fantastic. Easy to set up, fast to use on daily basis and allows you to create good reports. It also has a useful integration with the mobile app. The new design is great. I love details like the fact that the icon on the browser tab changes colour when the timer is on or off; it's a great reminder!

Nothing really. It's all good for me. At the moment I think I don't use all the features they offer.

I am a freelancer, so it helps me Keep track of the time spent on different clients and then invoice them for the hours at the end of the month. I also tend to specify the time I spend on each of the specific tasks, which helps me to produce accurate time estimates for future projects and to be more efficient.

It's SIMPLE and Straightforward. Just perfect. Plus it works well across devices on real time.

Web interface has some small issues when trying to create blocks with the mouse on the calendar. Nothing to worry about.

Just tracking the amount of time per project. Then review reports so that I can adjust if I'm being unbalanced.

The fact that I can easily keep track of how much time i am investing in projects, and what particularities OF that project, have elevated my time-management skills to the point that I can easily schedule my workday.

Wish it had the option for alarms, so i know when I've spent more than two hours on a specific task and should take a break (as opposed to setting up my own phone alarm to do that).

I mostly like Toogle's simplycity in usage. It's easy, fast and it does exactly what I expect. Toggle helped to improve my internal inside processes and my client's appreciate detailed reports.

I don't like new colors of Toggl after last update. I did not try to find out if it's possible to change it in global settings yet.

As a web developer I track my work time with Toggl and also attach Reports to Invoices after every development interval.

The interface is clean and streamlined. There's little guesswork and you can immediately start to use it. Bonus: It's fun to use!

Keep track of time and also understand where I am allocating my time in a day, week, month. The overview is very helpful. So are the reminders!

Toggle assists me as i am able to note down my daily tasks which ive undertaken. this means that if a superior asks me what ive done, ill easily be able to show them.

I think the interface could be designed a little better and look a little more interactive.

It would be nice to have a better and easier system for controlling teams and other viewers. Beside that this is a the perfect tool for me and for my use. Some of the features requires paid subscription.

Keep track my time on each task for each customer while having full transparency with my customers to watch their task time tracking. It help me review the team work each week and month and ease my billing. It's easy to identify issues when you see a task taking more then expected and there for you can improve you pricing estimate for future tasks quotes.

How simple it is to set the timer running and name the tasks at the disposal. Coworkers might make use of it individually to track themselves with no pressure from others if needed and it's pretty useful to keep track of time spend on futile tasks, compared to more rewarding proyects

Manual mode is a bit clumbersome to work with, because it is rather confusing to set the hours, specially around midday when AM and PM switch. Reports sent to an e-mail are not instant, they take about twenty minutes in some cases depending of the request.

It helps to track proyect times and to tally the hours together quickly without further effort than pressing a button once at the start of work hours and once at the end of a current task

Back in the day when I was a web developer I considered writing my own timing utility to track work on various projects, but then I discovered toggl and it's been a tool I've used every day since. It is always the first pinned tab in my web browser and I use it to track everything I do. What I love most is that I've been able to track actual time spent on all sorts of projects and then gain insights into where my time goes. Invaluable!

It's hard to say that there is anything I majorly dislike, though I've always wished it had more project and task based features so I could plan out my time more. Though I've found it integrates with other such tools such as Trello, which I use in conjunction when needed.

Toggl has become part of my regular routine and helps me to keep track of billable hours for clients as well as time spent on my own personal projects. It has helped me to better assess how long things actually take with detailed logs so I know what I was doing when.

Quick to set up, yet allows for some deep customization if you like. It makes tracking time really easy - you can just hit the timer to start and fill in the details while you work. Toggl Track also makes editing entries simple - you can manually edit times without any problem and it will reorganize entries accordingly. There are some decent reporting and visualization available built into the app, so I don't have to export the data to do it elsewhere. The recent addition of a calendar view is also a great upgrade and allows for a quick glance to make sure that your entries are right. Finally, Toggl Track is adaptable. You can sort entries in a variety of ways - by task, client, tags and billable/non-billable. For personal use, I have been very satisfied using this app and plan to keep using it in the future.

Some of the features are hidden behind a paywall, which I would be interested in testing before I upgrade. I feel like Toggl Track is missing some basic customization options - simple stuff like colours or dark mode for example.

I started using Toggl Track last year to monitor my time at work better. Having a timer makes me more accountable and allows me to take a look at how my work changes over time.

How easy it is to use, the simplicity of the UI and also that it's a very robust system. The number of times I've encountered issues have been very few.

I wish some things were easier to do from the keyboard, but it's a very great tool overall

I've been tracking my time at work for 5 years now using toggl. It's been extremely helpful for keeping myself focused and also it has given me traceability which helped me in several occasions to find answers about past work.

I use Toggl to keep track of billable hours for tutoring sessions I give to Thinkful.com students and for work with non-profit projects. The app is great too and provides the same functionality as the desktop version. Chrome has an extension so you can begin tracking immediately when you start working instead of having to remember to do this through the Toggl site.

Editing is a little clunky, but once you get the hang of it, it's no big deal. If you assign time to the wrong project for example, I edit with the browser version.

Toggl is a great, no frills (free version) that helps with timekeeping. I think with the paid version you can generate invoices as well.
