Easy of use and the ability to use on desktop and on my phone on the go!

Sometimes gets tricky to update the timer.

It helps to be clear on how much time each user is spending on a particular project.

Nothing, really. The free plan is limited, but it still has everything you need for basic tracking.

Toggl makes it extremely easy for me to track time spent on various tasks/projects/clients. After trying Toggl for myself, I finally understand why they're so popular.In comparing several time-tracking tools, Toggl ended up being the clear winner. Toggl has an interface that looks nice and is user-friendly.

I can't use it without having the Internet On. (will be a great idea to have an option to track the time spent on your laptop and when you have the wifi available again to sync the time) There are a few bugs here and there with Toggl when switching between workspaces, but they haven't deterred me from using the product.

Time Tracking for Each Task to ensure that I deliver.

I like how easy it is to track my time, set up projects and clients, and specifically track within each of those confines. This makes tracking time for my business and my clients much, much easier!

The only thing I dislike really is not being able to add details for clients. Also, I do with that there was a better way to be notified if you aren't tracking your time at the moment.

It's solving the issue that I've been going through for years of having time blindness and now knowing how long I actually am spending on different aspects of my business.

it's not something I dislike so much as something I would expect: I'd like to have an additional feature where I can say via voice command "enter a time entry from hours to hours on customer x for project y" so I don't have to enter it manually

Transparency of work done by people working remotely

toggl is very useful for personal and also business-related time-tracking. The free version packs a punch and offers excellent value. I really like that it has a mobile app also, which allows for never missing any activity. The features are diverse and can be customized to fit your needs.

Since the UI redesign, the colour theme is very ugly, a lot of people have complained about this online. I have emailed support a few times about it but unfortunately they believe the UI is nice the way it is - can't argue about taste I guess.

It helps monitor in a very granular way where time is spent, both for personal and work projects, and thus helps manage the most valuable asset we all have better = our time.

Toggl Track's simplicity and flexibility were what won me over. There are many similar products on the market with a gazillion features. All I needed to do was track the time I spend with each client or client project, detect the window titles to remind me or automatically track time, and be unintrusive. The free plan allows an unlimited client/project hierarchy, and I can even export the results into my CRM (Perfex CRM)

I would like the income to be tracked on the free plan too, but I do accept that they are running a business and need to hold some features back for freeloaders like myself.

It provides an intuitive and concise interface to achieve all of my time-tracking goals. It reminds me when I'm working on a project (by tracking my window title), and because I can now bill per minute with ease, it's improved my time-tracking and income performance by over 30%.

Its reporting software makes it easy to separate the information that is tracked to get precisely what we want. If you want to track hours worked per project and per client, and you want to do it over the internet, on a computer or in an app, Toggl is the way to go. If you want a larger integration with accounting software, this will not be effective, however it is not possible to conceive of a situation where accounting software integration is more valuable than using it to enter initial data.

Desktop utilization is the best timekeeping program known, however it does not have the same quality as the cellular and internet interfaces. There is a lack of integration with our accounting software; this is a slight issue, however it would be a great, ideal creation.

All staff members use Toggl to keep track of their minute counts. We monitor project dates, time management, and several of our staff are quite happy with it and even provide their own time tracking to support the development of good habits. Time verification is important to the viability of our business plan. Much of the time tracking software is unpleasant and cumbersome to use, resulting in a lack of accurate tracking. The successful tracking program will be simple to use and almost imperceptible to the user. Toggl is the only program that has been found that comes close to this.

work on a variety of projects for a variety of clients and am able to tailor my reporting to the specific requirements of each client or project. I also appreciate the app's dual functionality. I use a desktop toggl with integrated function monitoring and timer alerts to avoid losing track of time while working in a pomodoro setup.

This app allows me to work on accurate billable time. So helpful!

I love using the Toggl tracker in my day-to-day life. It has a very intuitive and simple way of recording my time at work. With this, I don't waste a lot of time registering the time I use to perform client jobs. I also really like the visual part of the reports.

Two things I don't like about Toggl is that I can't choose time periods of my choice and the timer is always on alert when I'm not keeping track of time. But I also don't forget to record the hours.

toggl definitely solves my fear of not charging my time correctly. In the past, you had to write down the times on a sheet of paper, now all you have to do is press a button. It came to optimize my way of organizing and accounting for my precious time.

As an independent contractor it's absolutely critical to me to able to log time accurately for billing.

Toggl is the best product for agency time-tracking management. The timeline feature truly saves my workday and is invaluable. I love that I can simply focus on work throughout the day, and then go back to retroactively code my time. The new mac desktop app has some great upgrades such as showing my google calendar and offering a Pomodoro timer.

I wish the timeline data remained on my desktop app for more than a week. Sometimes I get behind in time tracking, and being able to see this data for a little longer would be great. I also wish the integration with Float (my official agency time tracking software) was a little stronger so that I didn't have to record my time in Toggl and then move it manually to Float.

I work at an agency so I need to track my time. Toggl allows me to accurately understand how I used time throughout the day, retroactively, so I don't need to think about it mid-day. Toggl has given me back some time and allows me to be sure that I am always accurately tracking my time per client.

I love that tracking my time on my desktop or mobile device is so easy! It's intuitive and records just the right level of data. As a single-user account, I can't speak to how it works with multiple users, but I can't imagine it would be much different from an end-user experience. It took me seven years to realize how good their Customer support is...because that's how long it was before I needed to request assistance. Even in the free level, they are friendly, helpful, and better yet responsive in a way that solves the issue.

It can't quite read your mind. No, seriously. There's not much to dislike about this application.

Toggle Track helps me personally account for where my time at work is going. I use this application voluntarily for my own benefit—not for any company requirements. I love the at-a-glance views of how much time I've put in each week and what ate up most of my time. It helps me see where I can optimize (or at a minimum, plan for) in the future!

The best part about Toggl Track is the accurate, project-based time tracking and the actionable insights you can get from them. I would love more rules for time experts

Tracking time trough multiple products and helps with time management and remote work to maintain a work-life balance.

The Toggl app works on my phone, tablet and PC. It reminds me to turn on the timer so that I can track my time by client and project. Plus, it's easy to add tracked time after the fact, or if you are meeting with a client or doing work that doesn't involve electronics.

Sometimes, when I'm streaming online, not involved with any client projects, the reminder pop-up can get a little annoying. But it's okay because I know it's always working for me!

It's a great solution provider for me because I have many different clients and many tasks/projects for each client. Toggl allows me a lot of flexibility in tracking my time. The reports are so great and I download the report by client each month to use for billing purposes.

I don't like that everyone's timesheet is visible to all the team members.

Toggl Track is so easy to use, and it has every feature I could possibly want to ensure I'm accounting for and billing for every bit of my time appropriately.

This is not a hardship at all -- just an inconvenience: sometimes, i accidentally leave the timer on even after I've completed some billable work. When I need to go back and edit the project's finish time, I can't just modify the finish time in Toggl. (E.g., if I turned off the timer at 2:45 p.m. but I should have turned off the timer at 2:10 p.m.). Instead, I have to modify the total length of the project in order to have the timer re-set to the correct end time. In this example, I'd have to calculate that i wanted to deduct 35 minutes from the project length. This requires me to do a lot more math than I wish I had to. It's easier for me to remember what time I actually finished the project than to think of how many minutes I spent on it.

For those projects that charge clients in time increments, Toggl Track lets me set up different rates and increments for each client, so the billing matches my contract automatically. It even lets me choose whether my time gets rounded up to any increment I choose. In short, I capture every single minute I'm able to get paid for -- easily. When I charge by the project instead of by the time, Toggl Track lets me know internally how much time I spend on the project, so i'm better able to estimate and price future projects.

Toggl is great for tracking how long your projects are taking and allow for easy task switching. The pomodoro timer is helpful when you want to keep an eye on task switching, I use it to remind me to check email.

I would like to see a easy way to export tracked data and metrics but it's a great app with a nice reports section, having this as a pdf for the boss would be great.

Task management tracking and staying focused on what has and hasn't been done in a simple manner. It allows me to keep track of my day to day.

Ease of logging. EXCELLENT natural language processing for time input (e.g. "30 minutes", "2 hours" when logging time. No need to use precise timestamps. Great cross platforms apps.

Toggl allows me to track time spent on projects down to the minute, and capture my desired level of resolution per project, task, and sub-task. My clients are 100% satisfied with my billing because they understand where there money goes and for how long.

Toggl Track is very quick and has a lot of integrations to use in order to begin tracking, the free tier is also a bonus because it includes a few thing different things that works for small businesses and freelancers.

The paid tiers are a little pricey but not hard to manage if you do the yearly amount.

Toggl Track is allowing me to see all the employees' information in one location while tracking all of their daily time instead of having to manage their time manually.

My favourite feature of Toggl is the multiple combinations of time registry categorization allowed; you can combine a tag along with task name, clients, projects, descriptions. Highly customizable. At the moment of reporting back the full-time consumption of a task, you can do it pretty tightly. Several tracked time entries can be part of different reports.

I would like to to merge different time tracked for the same task wich is already tracked ni multiple sessions.

I have tracked task resolving time along with multiple jobs and projects. Being a freelancer developer, Toggl has helped for many many years, almost 10. I've been able to track and report resolution time without hassle. I use it all the time, any moment I start working.

I really like the breakdown of tasks by projects.

I wish there were a timer feature - maybe a few dings to remind me to stay on task. Really struggling with that, maybe a pomodoro built in (maybe that's part of the paid version?
