Easy to use by everyone, fun graphics and useful for project management. Always on track of my working hours so that I can charge fairly the client.
I like very much this app in all of their functionalities.
Always on track of my working hours so that I can charge fairly the client.
Gives lots of options for time tracking. I can see what my team members are doing and download reports for billing purposes.
Sometimes I forget to turn it on or off.
Keep track of work for multiple clients and my team members.
Great usability, perfectly working free version
There may be room for improvement in the user experience of report filters
It's a very useful tool to manage your time in different tasks and to compare the time estimate with the actual result
This is a very unobtrusive bit of software. All I really wanted was something to log my time and let me know if I had logged it with the system and this is perfect for that. You don't have to spend ages setting it up, and you can add projects and things retrospectively or on the fly. I understand that there is much more to this system (some of which you have to pay for), but I can't really comment on that since I don't pay for them and wouldn't really use them either.
Timer sometimes gets in the way. better in progress bar.
Lets me switch between projects quickly without engaging brain.
The reporting for the free account is very robust. Extremely reliable service––I've never seen it down. Intuitive user interface.
I don't really have any. If using Toggl Track with a team I can see paying for the premium service.
Tracking all my daily activities helps me to stay on task and be accountable to my team. When I am participating in performance reviews, I have concrete statistics about how I am spending my team.
You can easily assign different time slots to different projects. As I work for several companies this is really useful.
On the free version the you can't see the insights page, but that doesn't really affect me.
Toggl Track has helped me bill clients more accurately, and also reminds me what I have been doing so far.
The reminder option is really helpful, Sometimes I start working without starting toggl, but with this option I never forget to track
The app doesn't show the stats like in the web app, it would be nice if we can see stats too there.
I can find all my work track in one place, i can see my progress
I really like the ability to see your entries during a given time frame, organized by categories. I was excited when they launched the calendar view, which gives an overall perspective over the productive times of the day.
I can't think of anything, everything I needed to work, works well.
I am using the time logger to track the productive time I spend on different projects and increase overall productivity.
Toggle is very easy to get started with and asks very little to begin tracking a task. This helps me keep focused on the task and I can add details later. When using the desktop app I receive helpful prompts to track my time (if I am not already) and the web app has a great time line feature to help me remember what I was doing if I forgot to track my time.
I have had the occasional issue with syncing between the desktop and mobile app and I feel there are some design quirks on the mobile app that take a bit of getting used to (e.g. manually setting the time for a task is a bit funky). Toggl is very flexible and allows you to manually enter/change any time range and for some that may not be desirable. I wish toggle would prevent overlapping time entries (or at least prompt me if I've done that on accident).
We are tracking our teams allocation of effort. We're not using it for billing and we don't care down to the minute how much time is spent on tasks; more high level like "how much time did we spend on product development this month?". Using tags and a simple process for task names we can quickly match up time spent with our tickets in JIRA and produce hugely helpful reports to answer these kinds of questions.
I signed up years ago and just tracked project time. Then my son used it to track his online high school class time. I have since been required to track additional project times and now use it every day. Easy to use and even though I have a free account, the reports are very helpful.
Nothing that I can think of now. Very useful for me
Easy to track of more than a dozen projects
