For my business it's important that our video captions are accurate, and with Veed I have to do very limited editing, and the editing process is very simple.
We create a lot of videos and keeping them organized is important. While there is a folder system for organization it's clunky and takes more time than it should.
Veed makes captioning my videos easy and fast.
Excellent low code point and click video / audio editing tool with tons more functionality e.g., music, image etc. add ins.
I am being great but if this had Streamyards functionality combined into one tool that would be end to end wonderland
All good - using lots of the features - be cool to be able to edit more than one video at the time as another renders.
I was able to pick up and navigate the tool/platform swiftly and with ease. It's a very user-friendly and intuitive platform. I simply uploaded my video and then selected for automated captions. Veed then added accurate subtitles and highlighted any irregularities or words it wasn't confident in so I could manually asses. I've been able to use this without any support or formal training, it's a pick-up-and-go platform.
some of the subtitle word selections were a little glitchy but this could be don to user error as it's a feature I used for the first time.
I had recorded and edited videos which needed high-impact subtitles, other tools require hand trying or show basic white subtitles - veed has several options that have high impact AI generated subtitles that follow the rhythm of the recording. It saved me 30 mins for one video compared to other tools I've used - when I scales this up the time saving is huge.
Before discovering VEED I was subtitling my videos by hand which was not only time-consuming but a waste of time when I could otherwise be creating content. The thought of having to subtitle my videos would actually put me off recording them, or changed the content of the videos to avoid it. VEED's auto-subtitling is fast, accurate, and really easy to use.
I sometimes find VEED a little laggy on larger videos
Video editing and subtitling. It frees up more time so I can create more content.
I've been using VEED for the past 3 months for general video editing and it's very impressive. Unlike other video editors, VEED is simple to use without compromising on capabilities. The subtitles tool is most impressive. I also like the text-to-speech tool which is very useful. IMO it's one of the best free video editors out there.
hebrew support is not great for subtitles. More often than not it gets it wrong. I'm not a fan of the templates on VEED, although I know some would find them useful. Also, paid version is a little pricy.
I use VEED for various editing needs, e.g trimming and subtitles. Most of my content is in Hebrew and generating automatic subtitles isn't as easy as in English. VEED does a great job cutting transcribing time. I also use the text-to-speech to save some recording time on short videos.
Very easy to navigate, all necessary features are covered, and it's cloud-based!
Since i don't compare it with the likes of Final Cut Pro, Veed is the enough on its own right. Nothing to complain yet.
I can shoot with my iPhone, no need to "transfer file to computer", i can edit with pretty much every necessary editing tool is there, easy to use, and incredibly quick for rendering.
VEED is an AI-powered online video editor, and faced with a lot of videos to subtitle, we were looking for a time-saving solution. The AI-powered automatic subtitles were impressive, requiring very little editing, and have a lot of formatting options, so would be suitable for making lyric videos too. There are also lots of other video editing tools in there, great for making online videos and simple to use compared to the full video editing suites.
You need to buy the pricier Business plan in order to be able to save custom templates, which is a really useful feature, but you can save styles with certain features. Also, it would be great to have a compression option when you export a video, as I need to run a video through Handbrake to compress it once it's been exported.
Saving a huge amount of time when automatically subtitling videos - its accuracy is impressive and there are lots of different options for subtitle/caption formatting.
Integration of stock videos and music make life easier on the platform. Video effects and the new entry and exit animations are also a good feature. Personally I like templates, easy to jump in and modify as needed.
Cons would be more granualr controls on effect application on videos. Bulk actions would be nice on grouped items.
Veed is making video editing simpler for the masses.
I love Veed! The subtitling is almost always on point and conversation times are great.
The slow response from customer service, and the fact they don't have anyone to support on weekends.
It really speeds up the subtitling process.
Easy to clean up audio Easy to speed up videos Easy to add simple animations, such as arrows for highlighting Easy to add subtitles in multiple languages
Sometimes uploading videos can stall when uploading Recently the color of a video I uploaded was off, and I'm unsure why. The original video color was fine
Adding subtitles in multiple languages saves a lot of time and money
It has tons of features built-in and has a great user-friendly interface.
Since it's web-based, larger files can be slow to work with.
Editing client footage to make content.
Easy to use and includes a lot of features that would be difficult to implement or considered an add-on.
A few technical things like transitions could blend a little better. I did reach out to the firm and they noted it for a future release. Still very impressed with the overall offering.
A simple video editing solution for people who like to post videos on platforms like LinkedIn.
I've exclusively used VEED for the AI tools like eye contact correction. It was surprisingly very fast and pretty accurate and as far as I know, my editing software doesn't have any feature that compares to the accessible AI VEED offers.
I don't see myself using VEED's in-browser timeline editor simply because I am most comfortable on my own software. Some sort of plugin that integrates with Adobe or FCP X would be really nice.
I work with talent that reads off a script and I haven't found a better option for eye contact correction. It was incredibly fast compared to the time and effort eye tracking would take in After Effects
The video captioning tool offered by VEED is very precise. When the occasional edit is needed, it's easy to download the captioning file, make changes, and re-upload it. I also like how the caption font, color, backgrond, position, etc. can be changed.
The captioning editor is slow and sluggish. But, it's a lot of processing that's happening online, so that should probably not be surprising.
VEED allows me to easily and accurately add captions to a video.
It's great for beginners to produce High quality videos with all the editing tools you need. Great stock library of media to use at your disposal and easy storage system too. The customer service is always great as it's easy to connect with a human, which encourages us to use it daily for all our video-editing needs. It's simple to get started and there's loads of tutorials to help you on your journey. Exporting videos takes a few seconds and it's a handy database to search for any videos that I need.
I think they lack in some of the transitions that Capcut may have and it would be great to have an app we could use on our phones too.
Creating video-content Adding music onto video Subtitling Storing my videos in one database
Its intuitive and for someone with limited film editing skills this is a great starting point, the royalty-free templates and music are also very helpful for beginners. Easy to use. Havent had to resort to customer support.
I can see that it might get frustrating for advanced editors to use. It has problems running on Firefox but not Chrome. It cann sometimes get a little 'clunnky' as its fundamentally running off a browser window.
Its helping a small business with limited marketing time/skills punch above its weight.
Automatic generation of subtatiles and really friendly usage (so intuitive)
When you crop sections of the video you're working on, subtitles ALWAYS fail, so after hours of editing you have to erase the proct, chop the video outside veed.io and then upload just 1 piece of video to generate de subtitles... really bad
It generates automatic subtitles, so you don't have to transcribe
Subtitle translation and easy-to-use platform.
Once and awhile the server can be slow, but the problem usualy resolves quickly.
It's continuously making improvements to the platform. Since it is all online, updates are instant.
Auto subtitling is the feature I like most. Also, the eye-correction.
Auto subtitling is something which can improve
Subtitling
The most user-friendly by far. Loads videos in pretty fast and you can edit while it does.
Small bugs here and there but as expected
Ease of use and speed to get videos done, dont love editing and it makes it simple for me
