WooCommerce Reviews & Product Details
WooCommerce is the top choice for eCommerce businesses on WordPress. While it’s not a standalone site builder, it works seamlessly with the WordPress environment which makes it easy to use and simple, even for beginners. Anyone familiar with WordPress will find WooCommerce a great tool as they attempt to build out their site. WooCommerce works well with add-ons and integrations, with tools that include email marketing, social media selling, and one-click upsells. It does require basic coding know-how and developer insight as you scale the site, but learning the ins and outs of the platform ultimately makes management of the site so much simpler.

WooCommerce is the most popular ecommerce platform in the world. Running a WooCommerce store is free because WooCommerce is open source software designed to run on WordPress. Besides being 100% free, one of the benefits of open source is that you get access to the source code and at least for geeks like me, it allows you to fully customize your store exactly how you want. 3rd Party Support: WooCommerce has one of the largest 3rd party developer ecosystems in the world. If there’s a feature you need, you can find an app for it. You can also easily find a WooCommerce developer to create whatever feature you need.
The main downside to WooCommerce is that it’s a self hosted platform which requires you to get your own webhosting. As a result, WooCommerce requires a little bit of technical knowledge to install. But don’t get me wrong, it’s still very easy to use. In fact, my 10 and 15 year old kids started their own WooCommerce store for less than $3/month. Here’s how I rate WooCommerce as a platform.
I have been using WooCommerce to solve the problem of not having a website while sighning in to some online opportunity websites. one of the benefits i have realized using WooCommerce is in the side of my dropshipping business.
I love the flexibility of WooCommerce. I can customize it to fit pretty much any need when it comes to e-commerce. Oh, and the fact that it's free makes it even more appealing.
There are a few things that require purchasing add-ons. The area I usually run into this is when I need to customize shipping rates to a higher degree.
My clients love having the flexibility of a full-blown commerce website without the exorbitant price tag some of the other platforms charge.
woocommerce is a great and unique platform for building an online store. It comes with lots of features that help you customize your store and help keep track of your products including shipping and multi-currency support.
woocommerce is a good-to-go app/plugin for WordPress and can be really slow when you don't have the necessary customization to speed up your websites. therefore, the speed of the store should be put into consideration.
with woocommerce I can able to manage all my products in one place, ship to different countries, and accept payments in all the supported currencies. This has helped increase the growth of my business to a wider audience.
Very easy to use. Zero coding is required. Set up a fully functioning online store within minutes!
At times the plugin code conflicts with wordpress. Had a situation where the plugin tried to update, failed the update, and somehow corrupted my WordPress database file. Took about an hour or so of troubleshooting to figure out the issue was with Woocommerece.
Online store within a WordPress website. Most significant benefits are it's FREE, easy to use, and fully customizable!
I like that it is easy to use, and if there is anything that you do not understand, you can find support in their knowledge base or online forums. It also has so many plugins and extensions to help you do whatever you can imagine needing for your website.
I don't particularly appreciate how it isn't very customizable as far as the look and feel of the UI. I wish it were possible to make it look more professional and crisp without installing something on top of the original woocommerce plugin.
It helps us to have a storefront on our already existing WordPress website. So we do not have to have a link to an external or third-party app or site to host a store. This option is vital to us. We like having things more streamlined and fluid without having inconsistency with themes, etc.
The best thing I like about woocommerce is you can easily create a WordPress website with one click. It is also useful for those people who are not good at codein. Setup is simple, especially with WooCommerce's checkout/cart page-creation. The best thing about woocommerce is easy to use for everyone.
IN woocommerce for certain features you will have to install additional plugins and add on plugins are really expensive. Some of the options for adding variations can be tricky or confusing for new users.and as per my point of view there would be needs improvement in plug in support.
As per my thought its really helpfull for those people whose is not good in codeing or they dont have any technical backgroung .its easy to access for every one and they can use friendly .you just have to choose templets and add plugins and now your wordpress site can turn into e commerce.but there would be also some issue like they also charge for plugins.
Easy to update, powerful enough to cover most ecommerce needs, ability to extend with extra required function by using easy to find plugins, both free and paid available.
Needs frequent updates to maintain stability and security. In some minor or major releases, might cause problem, especially if user doesn't know how to do Wordpress updates properly.
Build ecommerce website for clients. WooCommerce is very powerful and flexible, especially when client needs special functions, flexible shipping rate calculations, etc.
Amazingly easy to design an ecommerce website on wordpress
I don't see any cons for this as it helped me reduce my work time
Setup e commerce website for selling products and services. Its fast to set it up.
Everything about WooCommerce is best. I have been using WooCommerce for one year now, and I love it. You can add different types of products and start selling in a few minutes. It's easy to add products, customize the store and have lots of plugins and themes.
What I dislike are the paid plugins and themes. There are thousands of themes and plugins, but the best ones are paid, and sometimes I have to pay like $50 for a plugin that has very simple work.
I'm using WooCommerce to sell digital goods on my website. And it's super easy to use it.
It's intuitive and easy to use, allowing you to add a fantastic store to your site. It's my preferred e-commerce platform.
the fact that you need to add extensions for simple things like variable products and Woocommerce emails
We are creating online stores for clients.
