Unclaimed: Are you working at WooCommerce?
WooCommerce Reviews: 4.4/5 — Solid Choice
WooCommerce is the top choice for eCommerce businesses on WordPress. While it’s not a standalone site builder, it works seamlessly with the WordPress environment which makes it easy to use and simple, even for beginners. Anyone familiar with WordPress will find WooCommerce a great tool as they attempt to build out their site. WooCommerce works well with add-ons and integrations, with tools that include email marketing, social media selling, and one-click upsells. It does require basic coding know-how and developer insight as you scale the site, but learning the ins and outs of the platform ultimately makes management of the site so much simpler.

I can't imagine our online store today without WooCommerce. I like this application because it provides detailed information on all the orders placed on our website, as well as reports on our sales for the month and the best-selling products. I also like because it has a section where we can see all the customer information. The function that notifies when a product is low in inventory is also very useful and important to us.
What I dislike about WooCommerce is its section to add products, since I consider that it is not very intuitive. I think they should adopt an interface in the style of the Facebook Marketplace, where the product information is entered step by step.
I use WooCommece on a daily basis to manage orders from our online store. One of its biggest benefits is that it notifies me when a product is out of stock or is short on stock, so I can quickly replenish it. In addition, it also allows us to download reports in CSV format of our sales that are of great help for our accounting.
Woo Commerce works as a WordPress plugin, where you install the plugin to turn your WordPress website into a fully functional online store. After that, it walks you through a store configuration page where you'll fill in the following: Store contact information Payment details Shipping information Extras like automated taxes Bulk product uploads. Its very good tool for WordPress user who wants to host a website like ecommerce.
All woo commerce has free plugin but some plugin is for amazon and flipkart site is paid one. I bought to use it my website but it doesn't work as desired. There are bugs/limitations in the plugins like it doesn't scrap the product from the link give. we should fetch a exact ASIN for it to work.
Daily sales is kept on track. Easy to maintain records. easy to maintain product list or database.
Easy to implement the woocommerce and there adons
Yet I have not discover anything that i dislike
That we can add 100+product easly
The major thing about woocommerce is you can grab all features of e-commerce platform without any programing or platform coding knowledge !
For different purpose you have to buy or install different plugins. That's it ! and the pricing they are offering is seems to little higher if you want all functionality plugins !
Every time when I make website for clients I don't have to deal with all php or aspx knowledge. We just installed woocommerce and it's done ! Major tough part of all cart ,Product description and checkout done by this application !
The most useful part is it's user-friendly interface. Also I like the part that knowledge of coding or programming language is not required to use this platform
I disliked that there are thousands of plugins out of which some of them are difficult to use
I can build my own ecommerce site with woocommerce. There are also specialized plugins for payment gateway integration and marketing
The most affordable ecommerce system, easy to setup and no bugs. Works seamlessly and on large scale, fully automated checkout system. Easily sale goods and services without limit or commissions. Use local and available payment systems and very easy to integrate.
The store appearance is determined by the theme, had us getting a premium theme. Addons are expensive, but there are good cheaper 3rd party options that work just fine.
We use woocommerce on our wordpress website to collect payments, sell products and fund raise. It really helps in managing our inventory to avoid oversell and also manage tax and shipping.
I would happy to share my opinion about woocommerce i really happy with woo so many ready-made plugins with minimum cost
In my opinion Little bit ui update will be required for Woo commerce
If ui is mobile friendly and ui is eye-catching then woo is the leader in this segment
WooCommerce is a unique plugin. It has the most important characteristics for an e-commerce, such as its shopping cart functions or shipping information. I like the fact that it also has an inventory feature, which can even notify you when a product is low. The most important thing is that it is completely free.
WooCommerce can consume a wide variety of resources on your server, so you have to disable different scripts and functions that are unnecessary, to leave only the ones that you will actually use.
In my company we offer virtual store services developed in WordPress that have WooCommerce implemented for their administration, because they do not generate costs or subscriptions to our clients, which therefore makes our offer more attractive. In addition, we have it implemented on our website, so that users can hire our services.
WooCommerce is my preferred platform because it's safe, unlike other market-existing e-commerce solutions. It also has an integration guide that offers all the choices for fast device setup and adding all the required resources to allow best use of it. Even, basing on this feature, virtually all WP developers build their themes, rendering it completely compliant with almost every theme.
I've had some difficulty implementing shipping services, your didn't tailor the shipping system to the users fully. Another issue I had with the checkout form was that you can not configure the fields for a customer to fill out. For certain additional plugins, such issues may be quickly fixed, but I don't like adding a bunch of third party apps at each question I have.
Overall , my experience with WooCommerce was genuinely pleasant. Now it is our website's e-commerce portal, with which we can conveniently handle the orders of our customers. This was also a crucial resource for our operations team, because we would access the revenue report that happens over the week.
The best thing about woocommerce according to me is that it is connected with wordpress and hence, you can make an online store on wordpress with the help of woocommerce. This software is free and is an open source is also something that makes it different from other options available.
It is very hard to implement multi currency transactions on woocommerce. Other than that, it is fine and easy to use.
Woocommerce is a great platform for making online shopping websites, it is easy to use and also very affordable as compared to other platforms. I have tried using it with one of my wordpress websites and it has worked great.
If you have a Wordpress site and need a store, only use WooCommerce. I love the functionality, the ease-of-use, and the extensibility. I love the ecosystem of plugins they have. You'll love all the various free and paid themes they have to offer. They also have an iOS app to track your orders, money, and inventory.
There's honestly not much to dislike. But, if I have to pick something, it would be complexity. The complexity is necessary but that is a deterrant for the average user. Configuration of the primary WooCommerce is simple but extending it with plugins is where most of the complexity comes into play.
I've setup stores for myself and clients. We want to sell things online and WooCommerce helps us do that. We've been able to help users sell their products and services online and generate income! You can easy setup Paypal, Stripe, or other payment options to collect your money.
Using WordPress as a base system, WooCommerce inherits the full power of a standard, open source content management system. Also, we are very familiar with WordPress, PHP and MySQL, so WooCommerce slips right in.
WordPress can be slow, and it is easy to create a huge mess. With a knowledgable crew that is easily mitigated.
We are selling products worldwide, and WooCommerce cleanly integrates with our marketing and shipping solutions.
I've been using WooCommerce as a backend for my Photography rental business for just over a year now, and the ease of setting up my products, with turnover date's, and options like service intervals and stock control to eliminate double bookings.
Sometimes the options can get overwhelming. For someone with no experience with websites backends, the number of choices might be debilitating.
Prevention of Double bookings Fines for late returns. Automatic emails for return reminder's
Flexibility , I have a lot of control, great connectivity. I love the automation to Social Media and Overall I can get the plugins I need to run my shop smoothly.
It takes a little bit to get use to it and unfortunately does not (yet) work with WHCC.
Automations between my print shop and woo-commerce. I believe Zappier may be a solution. How versatile the program is and the potential of getting seen on major Social media sights.
WooCommerce is my favorite tool because it is free, unlike most e-commerce solutions that exist in the market. It has an installation wizard that provides all the options to quickly configure the software and integrate all the necessary tools for better use. Also, almost all WP developers create their themes based on this plugin, making it fully compatible with almost any theme.
The only thing I dislike is that their product import and export tools are not very efficient. For example, you can export all the products of a store except for their categories, so when you import them you will have to categorize each product separately.
We are using WooCommerce in our company's ecommerce because our site is based on WordPress. My experience with this plugin is really incredible because it is very easy to implement. It was not necessary to invest many hours of coding in payment gateways, since most providers have plugins developed to integrate easily, as is the case with the one we use.
Nice reports, figures and customers lists
Product categorizing, difficult to manage what the customer will see on his screen
Selling tickets for events, easier than eventbrite as you easily creates new products and events. And linked to your own websites, easy to trace the conversion
It is easily customizable through theme
Needs to pay for extension of the plugins
I have e-commerce website It easy to integrate with Wordpress and also easy to use
WooCommerce is the most important tool on our e-commerce website and we have used it for years. The main feature I like is the ease with which orders are handled, which are categorized as pending, in progress or completed. Another feature that I like is its subscription function, which has allowed us to have better customer management.
I think that the shipping area tool is really confusing, since we only sell products and ship to the capital of our country and we have found it difficult to configure it.
Overall, my WooCommerce experience has been really good. It is currently the e-commerce platform of our website, where we can easily manage our clients' orders. It has also been a fundamental tool for our administration department, since we can download the summary of sales that take place during the week.
The frontstore will be beautiful and very light. There are no comparison with other ecommerce platforms
It's not like to have a Prestashop or Magento. It's a good extension to sell goods online
Generally problems are related to the frontpage design customization. Images of the items, shipping issues. Benefits are the good presence in the search engine
Full control of the online store, no limit and no listing fees. Use any payment processor of choice with easy integration. I can choose how I interact with my clients and customers. Add features I like and control user experience. Update and customize online store to match the session. Print coupons and offer discounts with ease
Update notifications and upsells can be distracting and annoying. Extensions are a bit expensive compared to 3rd party plugins. Store appearance depends largely on theme used. May not be compatible to every theme.
Set up and manage web store with ease. Process orders, shipping, tax and manage inventory. Sell products across the globe without limit.
The integration, the functionality that is built-in to core (free) application, and the sheer number of capabilities available through free plugins.
Can at times get complicated to manage and administer, but likely similar with competing solutions (like Ecwid), which I also use. So not really a big complaint.
Use it for several stores, including gift shops, bookstores and even a casket company. So primarily used for E-commerce, but have one site that uses it strictly for a points based rewards program with no currency changing hands. Uses MyCred plugin to facilitate this.
You hold the full control and with this, you can sell whatever you want no holds barred. Use any payment processor of choice and sell at your own price. Ability to sell an unlimited number of products or services without listing fees or commission. It's stable and built for commercial use. Organize shipping, inventory and tax with ease.
Depends on the WordPress theme in use for appearance and some functionality, it may not be compatible with some themes.
Built membership website and accept payments through woocommerce. Sell products and management shipment and inventory automatically.
Online shop you have full control, from start to finish, with backend access even at source code level, you can port your online store to a new domain or hosting without losing anything. Unlimited number of products with no commission or listing fee. Easy to use and can handle large scale commercial use. Can be easily integrated with several payment processors for easy online payment system.
Annoying update and upsell notifications. Support and extensions are expensive for a startup to afford. Store appearance is dependent on the theme used. Some themes doesn't support woocommerce.
List and sell products to clients across the globe. Handle shipping, tax and inventory management. Advertise products directly on social media websites. Setup membership website with content access control
Along with the already robust selection of themes and plugins available for WordPress, WooCommerce adds its own collection of engaging themes and extensions that can help developers of all levels get their e-commerce websites created and published quickly. The account management features are generally easy to work with, especially for those that have dealt with any kind of product management application before. WooCommerce can work smoothly with many payment methods and has notifications that can go out to both the buyer and seller after transactions are completed.
The initial process of setting WooCommerce up can have its complications since the system is somewhat flexible. Depending on the payment processor we use for a particular WooCommerce website, we sometimes have to take extra time to configure things for certain types of items. I would like to see more configurations that can be set automatically through spreadsheet imports.
Our WooCommerce websites have been great for monetizing products, services and events on the internet. It was an easy way for us to establish ideas for website designs and gave us plenty of editing tools to let us refine design elements, item information and other content with ease. We have probably saved thousands of dollars from reducing our need for programmers and other web development professionals.
I really like that this is a plugin for wordpress.
Some of the functionality is hard to understand and learn.
We use WooCommerce to sells our Jewelry online.
It's integrated within WordPress, so you can use your existing website and attach a shop to it. The great thing about this is that you have a single place where you can edit your products and write your pages. It's super customizable, due Wordpress nature you are able to add more plugins that improve WooCommerce's functionality. Such as payment providers, analytics, etc.
The thing with WooCommerce (and Wordpress in general) is that updating your website can break very easily. Some plugins may become incompatible with your current WooCommerce version and results in either a non-working website or some features missing.
We now have a central solution for keeping track of our products. It's all synchronized with our other terminals, so our webshop keeps in sync.
Woocomerce is very easy to use and can be set up without spending too much time. You don't need a very deep training of the platform to use it and it is easy to familiarize with most of the features on a few days. The platform have all the options you need to start with your ecommerce page. Features as adding new products, managing inventory or creating new pages are very intuitive and have many options for you to choose from. Very important for the kind of business I run, is the possibility to have different options for shipping options and charges that can be set according to different variables My favourite thing from woocomerce is that is quite personalizable and supprts a wide range of plug ins that can be added in order to improve the features of your website (for example, to allow subscribe pop ups, interactive toolbars etc)
The only thing that I dislike is that it might be slow from time to time. Other thing that can be improved is the design, It can be a bit 'heavy'.
The main benefit is that you can manage the back end and front end of your online store with just one platform and that it takes a little time to train employees from different departments to use it. It is not complicated for anyone
its easy to set up, easy to customise, easy to add products, easy to manage inventory, easy to manage post, easy to customise.its verry scaleable and can deal with a small e-commerce site to a e-commerce site with thousands if products.
the only thing i do not like is the setting up of categories, i have been searching for a plug-in to streamline this. I much prefer the way zencart deals with categories.
setting up an ecommerce site for a novice user to manage can be a nightmare, but woo commerce is east for a novice to manage, and as they learn the way around it they can get so much more from it.
The layout is brilliant and easy to showcase my products benefits and get customers to add to cart. The cart is really quick too resulting in more sales since I started using it.
It is a bit expensive to use if you don’t have many products.
It has improved my marketing
