We were very excited to use Zoho One to integrate our invoicing, customer data housing, sales and marketing tool and expense management and communicate with teammates internally. These are the primary function we purchased Zoho for.
The onboarding to Zoho was very lengthy and troublesome; the onboarding team was not helpful and was very slow. Once onboarded, Zoho was not smooth to operate, the multitude of functions did not talk well with each other, and the navigation was not user-friendly. After 2 months of usage a lot of our teams stopped using the system.
Our business operations were not synced, and customer information was not housed in one place; we could not track emails or documents sent to customers. Also, customers were not linked to their invoices and subscriptions. Zoho enabled all these under one system allowing us to sync and house all of our information, giving access to the necessary personnel.
leave tracker and attendance filing options are intutive.
- Extremely slow time logging. Earlier we could navigate to the next cell just by pressing Tab which was very easy, but now we have to click on every cell and then type and click submit. Each cell takes a lot of time to load which is extremely annoying. - Separate processes for time log and timesheet are also not required, There should be an option to clone data from time log to timesheet directly.
We are using it as HRMS in our company.
This tool is one amount of dozens under the umbrella of Zoho, which should allow simple cover needs of almost all corporate departments with potentially easy integration. In People product, I liked a huge amount of configurable options, automation, and flows that give an impression of a silver bullet. As that product is using the SASS model, guys are adding some extra features "for free", e.g. recently they introduced the LMS module.
The most disturbing is the quality of support service. Nonproficient responses, not willing to get to the roots of the issue and hack a lot of time for responses that don't match any of the contracted SLAs. One of their incorrect responses almost forced me to subscribe to their other paid services, which was not solving the original issue and with no warning about the paid essence of new services. I had disappointing experience each time I need to contact support team. That is happening often, unfortunately. At the moment of writing this review whole company can't even access Zoho people, and phone support is constantly not available/busy, all the email threads lead to "we recall you" with formal attempts to recall, but you miss this call for a second - you in a trouble. They will never try to redial one more time. I dislike UX too, looks like some modules of the system developed by people who are using slightly different principles in the GUI, that is not critical, but annoying and made an impression of poorly designed product. I could find nothing related to the release notes, but guys changes the platform regularly. As the end-user, I can observe that by noticing fixes for existing bugs and introducing a new one. That's scaring me each time I'm opening page - did they broken already something vital or it will happen next time? I've personally lost trust in that product and feel it's not reliable.
For my company, it's a tool that aggregates data about employes, about their history, attendance, etc. Typical HRM, quite sensitive to privacy and reliability.
The concept, on paper like every other Zoho app it looks amazing, you find your self saying "wow this is exactly what i am looking for" but the reality is that its really not. what's the best thing? the marketing. the product isn't worth the headache.
The interface is not intuitive Zero Support (Even though we are Zoho one users & pay for premium support) No live chat No phone support Help documents that are hard to read and understand universal search that doesn't work
We are looking a for HRMS system to help our growing business, we already use other Zoho products, for recruitment primarily, we got away from CRM and dropped the bulk of their other apps due to similar issues.
Onboarding was ok. Performance management and Time tracking is sufficient.
There is no concept of a manager managing your account post the onboarding. For a simple issue that can be resolved over a phone call, ZOHO expects you to be writing back and forth over an email to a generic team the technical issue. They will take 1 day to write back to you and the issue will remain unresolved. No manager details or escalation ids are shared. They refuse to get on a VC or a call to resolve your issues. I would suggest to look for other HR platforms.
Employee Attendance & Performance issues are being addressed.
