One of the greatest strengths of Airbase is the company's commitment to meet customer needs. We have requested several changes and enhancements to work with our accounting system, and they have always worked to provide what we need. We have been using Airbase for about 19 months, and it has steadily improved and added features. The integration with Slack is quite helpful. You can approve requests right in Slack, saving time. It also has a mobile App. It had some problems to start, but it functions well now. We use it mainly for submitting credit card receipts. It provides Vendor Portals so vendors can manage their payment information.

Accounting and Security administrative functions are tied together. There is no way to separate the functions. So, to administer user access, the user has to have full administrative rights, which also grants access to all financial rights. The inverse is also true. In order to give full access to the financial administrative tasks, the user also has to have full user administration. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is only available for vendor portals. It is not available for regular user sign-on. The standard approval models are built around person manager approval. That is, a person reports to a manager who approves the payment. Our payments are approved by the department being charged for the spend, which may not be the department the person is in. Allowing for that dynamic requires a lot of setup and maintenance.

We use Airbase to facilitate and track vendor purchases and employee expenditures. Airbase allows us to electronically transfer funds that were done by check before.

Airbase makes invoicing easier by allowing us to create and send invoices from a centralized platform. This brings down the possibilities of errors that can occur with manual data entry.

Airbase's invoicing feature is a little expensive, and the pricing structure could be better given that we have limited budgets.

Paper-based invoicing can cause delays in invoice processing and receiving payment. Airbase streamlines the whole process, thereby significantly reducing the invoice processing time. Late Payments: Late payments from customers negatively impact our cash flows. Airbase's automated invoicing features can send payment reminders and facilitate online payments.

The best thing I like about airbase is it's functionality to integrate with slack. Through the slack intergrations I've been able to get quicker approvals on my invoices from my manager.

The only thing that I dislike about airbase is the unavailability of a recurring payment. If there was an option to enable a recurring payments then it would have been a cake walk for me and my vendors.

The biggest problem was getting approvals from my manager in a quick cadence. Through the slack integration I can now get quicker approvals without any hassle and hence it has solved one of my business's biggest problem

The things that I like most about Airbase is that it is very flexible and easy to use. We have a very small team owning the application (3 finance) with a large population of users (200 plus) and there is very little training that we need to do to help the users use the product. In additon, the worklows are very easy to customize to what we need them to be. The support of Airbase is also amazing.

The thing I wish Airbase had more of is reporting. For example, we were using the Airbase prepaid module until we enabled NetSuite and there was nothing that we could use to help us reconcile the accounts. Additionally, there are no ending statements for balances held by Airbase that we have funded.

Airbase is solving the problems of: 1. Expense Reimbursement 2. AP Automation - We have only half a headcount dedicated to AP given all the automation we have 3. Vendor Payments 4. Procure to Pay

The ability to email receipts from both work and personal emails, and then the technology to read and prefill vendors and amount from scanned receipts makes Airbase a really simple to use and effective tool for users to submit their claims.

Sometimes emails does not work, but it doesn't happen that often

The interconnections made possible by Airbase have simplified life. The Slack integration has been a huge help to mee in efficiently managing my firm. My manager can now quickly approve card purchases for me.

The fact that it does not support regular payments is what I dislike. It should include recurring payments so that we cann effectively handle the bills that our suppliers send us.

the ability to get quicker approvals on my spendings is the biggest problem that airbase is solving for me. I can get quick approvals on my spends from my manager resulting in quicker resoultion time. In addition to this, what i really love about airbase is how it has too many integrations on slack which doesnt solve but many problems for me.

Airbase has enabled me to integrate with slack which helps me get quick approvals from my manager and department heads. The ability to integrate slack has made my life easier.

I am unable to setup recurring payments in airbase. If there would have been a recurring payment option then it would have been a good support for me to manage the payments of my vendors.

Airbase has been solving a lot of problems for me. The biggest one would be the ability of integration with slack. I cant express how easy it has been for me now to manage the approvals from my manager

My integration with slack which my boss to look at my spends and approve them. Once I integrate it to a Google sheet. I can automate expense reporting at the end of month.

Ability to setup recurring payments might be helpful. Not a super issue at this moment, might need it in the future. Especially for certain supplier categories

Maintaining expense transparency is important. As I mentioned that the real time ability for my boss to see my spends and take corrective action saves me a lot of pain which could be very uncomfortable later down the line

I love the seamless integration of uploading invoices either from our AP inbox or the Vendors can import them directly into the system.

The reporting sucks! I'm an Accountant and it seems none of us were part of the development team when it came to the reporting side of the system.

The Tech team is awesome! The reponse level is so fast and efficient. I appreciate it (them) a lot.

I was first introduced to Airbase as the primary team implementing the spend platform into our 70-person startup. It has been incredibly effective at managing our subscriptions (for which we have many) as well as managing vendors. Couldn't be a happier client 1 year later!

They recently switched to debit cards which requires some work loading funs otherwise it's a very very intuitive platform.

Airbase helped us automate tracking spend across all of our categories (virtual cards, physical cards, invoices, T&E).

It is not as much adjustable in terms of business specifications as we need.

Foreign subsidiaries.

The most helpful tool with airbase is how easy reimbursements work! All you need to do is upload a receipt and from there, most of the information is automatically filled in. I also love that I can tag an expense within a specific category.

While I haven't used every area of the platform, the ones I've used so far are very easy to figure out and are extremely user-friendly. There truly isn't anything I don't like about the platform yet!

As someone who travels for work often, the biggest hassle with traveling is tracking work-related expenses. Airbase keeps me organized and detail-oriented in case any audits come up.

It's so easy to use and keep track of items I have submitted for reimbursement. When I travel for work, I can easily upload receipts from the Airbase app on the go.

Nothing negative comes to mind about the product!

Our company does not provide credit cards to everyone so when we travel for work they are things that I pay for that require reimbursement. Airbase makes it easy to make sure I get my money back.

The UX is clean and incredibly intuitive to use. I have used Concur and other softwares previously and this airbase is the easiest to teach and use.

Airbase can be persnickety about SSO to Okta. Sometimes it takes me a few tries on my personal device to SSO in.

We are able to teach our Sales team and other teams much easier than in previous instances. The ease of use is the greatest benefit and the dashboard is optically great.

Simplicity and updates about reimbursements. I've used similar solutions in the past and I appreciate how simple it is to request reimbursements.

I am an international employee working from Spain and I couldn't set up my national bank or an international bank to receive my reimbursements directly.

Tracking expenses and requesting reimbursements for company-related expenses: company travel, offsite, meals, etc.

The user interface is intuitive and clean. The ability to tag expenses with a job number has been key for the accounting team.

I have to go through multiple pages to find my expenses. If there was a simple user dashboard that contained all of my things that would be helpful.

Airbase removes the hassle of manually inputting the invoice in system. Airbase uses AI to identify respective fields, create a draft for the staff to review and fix, if needed. Airbase uses historical coding and replicates that for the same vendor.

Airbase is a growing company and there are certain functionality that needs to be developed over time. Airbase team is responsive to the feedback and working with the Company to develop the modules and give transparency along the way.

Airbase is cutting time on manual efforts and speeding up invoice entry and visibility. Tagging the invoice items for a focused review and using the historical knowledge via API is a big time saving for the Company.

I like that Airbase is very easy to use and accessible.

As of right now, I do not have any dislikes about Airbase.

One problem that Airbase is solving is the fast speed of payment it offers
