UI and UX (User Interface and User Experience) Feature Rich and outstanding support and onboarding and Virtual Cards backed by our Amex Relationship for each Vendor
We "had" one dislike when we first started evaluating Airbase 5 months ago that is where we could not add our "current" Amex Corporate card and support all current transactions. This will be available soon! So that is "no longer" a dislike ;) Other than that, for "us" the platform is giving a better visual of our expenses spending than other platforms in the same space.
Allowing us to keep a heartbeat on our expense spending in a clean intuitive interface, creates time for us to be more productive in other areas of our business
It is easy to understand, work with, and great for big teams. It is easy to explain to others and great that you can use it on your phone.
That sometimes is a bit slow and you need to refresh a couple of times.
Being able to track all our payments and avoid extra charges if needed. Is great!
Very quick and seamless expense submissions. The app makes it very easy to submit on the go.
Don't have any downsides that I can think of.
Airbase is solving the problem of complicated expense management that makes people reluctant to submit receipts.
Airbase help me handle everyday tasks efficiently and simply.
Some things are a little challenging to locate in the graphical interface.
Airbase allows me to process bill payments efficiently without worrying about mailing checks or sending wires or ACH payments through my bank.
I use Airbase from different angles: IT and end-user. From the IT perspective, I couldn't ask for more. The product is very easy to adopt and integrate. It supports SSO, which makes deployment and product / user administration even easier. As an end user I like the simplicity or every day use. Having virtual credit cards for each vendor helps to ensure all the payments are done on time, and all the receipts are easily accessible / trackable. In addition to that, the simplicity or provisioning virtual cards to end users is very helpful and speeds up the related processes. Last but not least, the ease of processing of the reimbursement claims. You take pictures of the receipts, upload them and request your reimbursement. No more paper / email mess and waiting for weeks if not months.
Can't really think of anything that's not working well. There were some issues on getting SSO integration up and running, but the tech support team was awesome, and assisted with all the overlooked steps. Overall it's hard to criticize a product, that you rate as "Very Likely". Perhaps making it a tad cheaper would be a nice thing. Other than that, like I said, it's a great product, that add a lot of efficiencies and controls to your organization.
Comparing to prevous experiences, where paper/Excel/model was utilized, you can't ask for more. Processibing reimbursement claims is very fast and easy to control. Adding a new vendor to the org is also much easier, because Airbase offers a credit card per vendor model. Setting up spending limits also ensures that you won't be surprised with over the budget payments.
Everything about Airbase is intuitive and simple. It is both simple to use and demands accuracy. Employees love it as it makes reimbursement quick and easy.
I can think of no flaws with Airbase. It really makes expense reporting as easy as it gets.
As a remote employee, I get confirmation that expense reports have been received and I get updates on reimbursement. Reporting is also super easy.
The simplicity of Airbase is what makes it great, it is easy to learn and adapt. The ability to use virtual cards is another incredible plus.
The app available for you phone could use some improvements but overall is fine.
The main problem it is solving is with expenses, prior we were using Divvy which was cumbersome and required a lot of oversight time. Airbase has made it much easier to handle expenses with less time needed from the admin end.
I adore the fast shipments on cards. I can produce any shoot in any location due to that feature. The online interface with receipts is everything and helps me track costs in real-time. Security features are unlimited with locking. I adore it!
Not even just saying this to be excellent. I honestly cannot think of anything that I can genuinely say I dislike about Airbase. Maybe call us to do a commercial?
Airbase helps me hand out multiple cards for projects. I can hand one to the art department, wardrobe, and production. Each "Envelope" can be tracked in real-time, so I can see where our expenses go. Helps organize all receipts.
Very easy to process bills and easy to pay vendors.
Loading funds to the card takes 4 business days.
Problem-solving like a month-end close balance and incorrect notifications for contract renewals.
The fact that transactions show up immediately on the platform. Other systems take days to populate transactions, but with Airbase I can purchase something and immediately upload the receipt which makes it easy, fast, efficient, and finance isn't hunting me down for receipts anymore. Our employees think using it and submitting reimbursements is very easy!
It isn't the best for vendors who you use semi regularly, but don't have a consistent spend with. This doesn't exactly fall into a one time expense card, but it is hard to predict the total amount of spend for a recurring spend card. This results in me using a lot of one time spend cards, then the vendor thinks "my card is always expired" if they go to use the former card again.
We are a fully remote business so Airbase helps with our remote teams. Our last provider gave everyone at the company a physical Credit Card which was problematic. This allows us to keep physical cards to a minimum while allowing people to easily make business purchases when they need to.
