Not much, to be honest. Just disappointment.
I thought I had canceled the account (the UX was unclear for that function) - but apparently not, and the full amount was withdrawn from my card. The customer service rep. claimed that they had paid upfront for servers and whatnot and therefore could not reimburse me. Seriously, if that's the case then you need to rethink your contracts and policies.
Nothing.
Nothing. I didn't use it and I didn't want it.
Everything. If I ever need an app builder I will definitely look elsewhere. It's literally impossible to cancel a subscription. I never wanted it I was just revioewing the sote as I planned my strategy. I got billed. I spoke to finance they said you have an open subsciption so we can't refund your money....but you can't cancel your subsciption. I responded and was ghosted. They instructions they provide are incorrect. I can get everything resolved with my bank but that really isn't the concern. The biggest concern was the way the event was handled. If there is one thing that I've learned working in software is the experience for your customer needs to be right. This was an example of doing it wrong.
Solved no problems that I had or have.
I converted my print publication into a mobile app for more accessibility to my readers and followers. I have minimal coding experience and no experience in how to go about building an app. Their system made it extremely easy, I love how I can visually build my app, and I don't have to worry about the coding. They were available to chat with me whenever I needed help or had questions. Updated, they are not available 24/7 like promised, as soon as I submitted a well written review for them, their service went right into the toilet.
I didn't like the preview feature, and it was a little finicky. It wouldn't update correctly and I would have to test the app more than I liked to. I also couldn't type in the color code for different fonts and backgrounds, there's a slight error in that you have to physically select the color. I also would have liked a better outline of the App Developer process, all steps from A-Z outlined ahead of time.
Appy Pie is making it possible for normal people to do the unimaginable. I think any service that teaches or allows people to create things as they want instead of paying someone else to do it for them is terrific. No one knows your vision as you do.
I used to like their customer service, but definitely not anymore. They have the subscription I paid for, but after this, I am no longer going to work with them.
They say they will do something, and it doesn't get done correctly. I believe they know, and they keep you on hold and waiting purposefully. Never again. I cannot disagree more with the way they work.
Appy Pie is simply not worth the money unless you have a lot of time to go over and over the things you need. I have wasted so much time and money from investing and sales that have not come through, that I will never recommend this again. I have in the past, but not anymore.
The platform is easy to maneuver........
Customer service SUCKS! The chat feature is horrible.
I canceled my subscription....created a beautiful app but the customer service is horrible.
On the positive side, the user interface is very intuitive, but with Apple's recent privacy changes the app will only work with the most basic designs.
I wish it will work with our location services. Apple continues to deny the publish.
We used Appy Pie to build an app to market in only a couple of weeks. Had we outsourced to a traditional developer it would have taken months at 10x the cost.
