Super efficient way to organize your employee data, store company files and policies, and very easy to use reporting features

No major downsides. I have found the platform to be very user friendly.

I am able to quickly pull reports - from organization headcount, to department contact lists, manager lists, salary data, etc which has been extremely helpful in conjunction with other implementations we have done since adopting BambooHR. In addition, I can customize access levels for specific users to determine exactly what information would be helpful for them to have - which saves me time, as managers no longer need to reach out to request that from HR.

I love the personal insight I'm able to get within BambooHR like staff anniversaries, birthdays and vacations. I love being able to connect our hiring initiatives to Bamboo - we can collect all applicants directly in the platform, and rate applicants to help with qualification.

BambooHR has affected our work culture in an extremely positive way. Even through staff onboarding, the ability to send a welcome email to the entire team and letting them know that a new person is joining us is amazing. And

I managed a team of 30 employees and researched multiple HR options. I ultimately chose BambooHR because it had a cleanly-designed, logical interface. The sign-up/on-boarding process seemed intuitive. That proved to be the case once I purchased the software. But where they really shined was after the initial sale. Over the course of several weeks, I had a great partner at BambooHR who took the time to learn about my business and educate me on how best to configure and manage the software to help solve problems. I've purchased other software packages before, and nothing compared to this level of service.

Almost none. I had some issues adjusting the employee headcount (a factor in the monthly subscription fee) when I tried to run a small trial before adopting the software at my company more broadly.

Tracking employee headcount -- which was surprisingly difficult -- is much easier with BambooHR. The software vastly improved communication within the team as employees now had a de facto company intranet page. It's use as an ATS has also made the process of vetting new hires far easier. The most obvious benefit of BambooHR is the time it saves. The designers of the software were judicious with which features they included. After the initial setup, many of the tasks that used to take hours (and thus rarely got done) take less than a minute.

Bamboo is so easy to request time off, keep track of fellow employees, and update banking information. The user interface is very simple and straight to the point

I don't believe there's anything to really complain about.

It's basically like an all in one. It's where you handle your PTO balance, time off requests, position changes, tax deductions, direct deposit. It's awesome.

I love BambooHR, It's interface is well thought of and designed. At first glance you can immediately see your remaining leave balances as well as your booked but unused leave days. There is also a calendar feature which allows you to select the whole company or just members of your team. You'll never have the problem of booking a leave when many people are out.

Currently our company does not have a time in and time out. I hope BambooHR can be used to address this issue.

I love that we can do everything within Bamboo Hr. Request time off, see who else is of in the company , so many great things.

The only thing that I don't like it that we can't cancel a time off request after it's been approved. The person submitting the request should be allowed to cancel it.

We have been able to condense everything we do as a company to one area. :)

BambooHR makes clicking in and logging out super easy with mobile phone access. Also, has a great calendar feature to track time off throughout the company

It's been such a user friendly system for both employees and system administrators!

The ATS they offer is currently not what we are looking for but would be awesome if it was so we could integrate both systems.

Self-service HRIS is what were looking for and got one with so many amazing and customization feature. Reporting capability is awesome too!

I like how it tracks almost all employee information. It makes finding info that I need a breeze.

I dislike that I cannot just search for a colleague.

It wasn’t necessarily a problem, but it is very helpful having all of my information in one place.

Bamboo has a very simple user interface and it allows employees to complete self service changes. The directory is functional and files are secure.

It doesn't seem to have great integration with other HR type systems. Tasks should be more detailed and with more functionality. Signature forms is not as simple as it seems, better to go through Adobe and upload.

There are lots of training modules included with Bamboo and tasks are easy to complete.

I like that bamboo has a really great mobile app. You can sign into work from anywhere, makes working remote super easy

I can not think of any dislikes at this current time

Basic HR needs are being met with Bamboo

BambooHR is a great solution for our company. I use it every day at work. There are so many things that you are able to do through this platform. I typically use it most for requesting days off of work and looking up departments of co-workers. I also have a lot of "off-boarding" tasks that are assigned to me through bamboo.

I haven't always enjoyed the editing capabilities bamboo offers for certain sections. The ability to get things changed without going through a "change approval" is sometimes frustrating. I would like to see some improvements in this area moving forward. That would help the overall experience. I haven't run into this issue very often but I know that the option to add something to your personal space without jumping through hoops would be nice.

I am in charge of one of our corporate cards at work. One of the big responsibilities I have is to find the receipts my employees have used the card for and then attach those to the correct expense report. I have to look up and find which department these employees belong to so that the correct section of our company gets charged. Bamboo has been a life savor when needing to look these up. They even have a Chrome Extension that makes everything go even faster.

Everything. It is comprehensive, user friendly, easy to customize, easy to get a hold of Bamboo support if you need help. It does everything we want it to do and SO much more. If I had to pick one thing, it would be the user experience. It's so easy to learn and use, and fun to boot.

There really isn't anything I dislike. I recommend this software to everyone.

It’s hard to hide personal info if you are giving someone a training on it.

Company links can all be in one place there, as well as important announcements and all the things I need as an employee.

I like this software because of it is Mobile optimized which makes it easy to look up information when am away from the office.its also secure such that it doesn't allow non management people to see any personal details .This tool covers every aspect of employee administration and HR management.

Although this software is very powerful and user friendly it has a few challenges .Upddates to this software come in too pricey .Also the ability to add or remove custom fields and reports to go through their customer .

This software has greatly helped reduce cost by allowing employees to enter and update their own personal information.This tool has several automated manual reports which we used to produce in the corporate office.

Initially, we were unable to clock in and out via the app, but they were able to integrate that feature for us. We do have to use a different tool for paystubs and performance management

What I like best about bambooHR software is that it allows the manager to keep track of the information of the employees such as addresses, phone numbers and all kind of notes of the employees. It is also safe, simple to use and stable.

BambooHR software has very few and minor shortcomings that are not Worth mentioning. The benefits of this software overpowers it all.

BambooaHR software makes hiring and employing management easier. What is more exciting is that for newly employed, they receive a special email containing training information and access to all system files. Also, employees are allowed to make changes on their status e.g if married , at any time.

It logs you out every time and you have to keep logging in but thats okay.

We like the payroll management offered by this software. The platform clearly organizes employee databases, and allows monitoring of their absences, life cycles, and compensation. We like that it is easy to configure our self-service portal, and that the implementation of onboarding campaigns take a short time.

BambooHR does not evaluate curricular summaries, does not configure payrolls internally, and does not allow to add comments in 360 degrees to the documents. In addition, the platform greatly limits the level of accessibility that can be achieved by attaching employees to the software.

Our company switched to BambooHR from a competitor and I just love it. The design and usage of BambooHR is so good. You can immediately see how many leaves you have left. In addition, filing leaves has never been made easier. It is very simple here. I can also manage the leaves of direct reports as I can view in calendar mode who is out on what day.

Easy to see everything at once relating to HR - files, reviews, PTO requests, company information, salary info. It has it all listed and easy to navigate. As well, the mobile app is really well done and easy to use.

I haven't found anything overwhelmingly negative for what I use it for. My only wish is that we could use it to log time sheets!

It's is a streamlined process so there is no confusion about where things are, what is going on, when things are due, etc.
