It was very easy to get around, there was many features, even so, It had so many features we did not get to use the functions fully due to the fact that we did not need many of them, leaving us to have the ability to be able have other opportunities for tools as the company grew. I loved the easy accessibility.

I did not get a chance to find anything to dislike, or Should I say, There were not any reasons to dislike the service.

It helped our company streamline the Human Resource Process, eliminate the cost of a HR person who would cost three times as much as the service but without all the features and functions.

It's easy to use in adding employees, searching for employees and updating basic information. The ability to export information into Excel or CSV files is convenient as well.

The organization chart function is pretty hard to view and the permissions are often difficult to navigate or adjust the default on. Seems to make things too difficult at times.

Fast growing start-up that needed a HR platform as the team grew to track employee, career growth and for onboarding and off-boarding.

It's relatively easy to use in regard to basic functionality such as adding new employees, requesting time off, etc. The app is also simple to use and access for our team.

A lot of the more detailed functionality is lacking (the org chart is difficult to view and edit) and access levels can be too complicated.

It's relatively easy to use. It's a fine tool for small, single location companies.

While it's easy to use and the customer service team is very responsive, I find the tool very limiting. Their goal, performance review, and feedback features are very limiting, and we ran into an issue using the onboarding tool across offices. The company is also not very forthcoming with their product roadmap.

We needed a centralized HRIS tool. It's served well as a directory and the reporting function is ok.

On the HR side, things work like they should. The reports aren't always the most logical, and custom reports are limited, but the applicant tracking system is great and as an administrator and employee the HR side is pretty good.

The payroll system. Bamboo completely tarnishes their reputation by partnering with Execupay- my experience with Bamboo is awful because of their relationship. Execupay reps are neither particularly helpful nor responsive. Their reports tend to be available only as PDFs, which is not useful when you need to do more than spot check.

My accounting department spends more time than they ever have reconciling payroll twice a month to make sure that Execupay hasn't made any issues. We have found several issues already related to data not syncing between the HR and Payroll site.

You can save all your employees information here: PTO, performance review, employees' personal and job information, training, etc. It is very easy to use and to understand. You don't need any type of training before starting to use it,

I don't think it syncs with other Human Resources software. It would be great if the information from other payroll or training software would just connect and all the information would be automatically transferred,

Bamboo was the first system we had that stored all our HR type data in one spot. I really like being able to see historical data on my salary. When I was a manager I liked having access to my direct report's information so I could look up their birthdays and remember to celebrate them!

There isn't a lot of customizability on the admin side of things. It would be nice to run reports for information I need in my current role, but I have to rely on the HR team - who are the only admins - to do it for me. It would save both me and them time if I had some level of access between Administrator and general user where I could access the information I need without necessarily having full access to ALL salaries and other personal information contained within the system.

It's given us a centralized place to approve and track vacation requests, which has standardized processes for our managers. It's also provided nice historical data for personal use and managers if someone were to switch managers.0

Very user friendly. You don't need much training in order to use it. We get great feedback from our employees.

Customer service as a whole. BambooHR will send out updates that greatly impact how we use the system, but they don't tell us.

All HR data is house din one location. We are able to set up different groups so they can have visibility to what they need. The ability to run reports is great.

Reporting and analytics are really basic. They lack a lot of historical reporting and it does not scale internationally well.

I love that I can see all my PTO all the time and I can see my reports information really quickly and easily. It is also amazing for me to store my documents that I need to share with my team. IE. Offer letters, Raise information etc.

I dont like that I have to click into each persons name on my team to see balances for PTO I wish there was a quicker view. I also dont like that if I approve something that doesnt have PTO available against it it goes into the negative but doesnt really alert me.

Bamboo has all the modules you'd need and expect of an HRIS. Form entry is easy.

The UI could be better. The back button sometimes takes me to the previous page, sometimes it has a different effect. It can feel slow and clunky. I find myself hunting to find information as I'd prefer less tabs and less folder options for the documents. Access level control is very detailed but it's almost too much to go through every individual option and level. Org chart navigation is horrible.

We need a place to store employee data and Bamboo allows us to do that.

Not a fully functional ATS, inconsistencies in reporting, EEO-1 reporting is not accurate, and difficult to update EEO categories for 300+ jobs, Bamboo is a great solution for small companies under 150-200 max. Difficult to connect to ADP for payroll purposes. Bamboo is putting in the work to fix some of their downfalls, just needs a year or two to perfect some of their modules.

Makes onboarding a smooth process, easy to get job descriptions signed

Once the candidate has accepted the offer it's a seamless onboarding and integration process.

The ATS capabilities are not great and it's not user-friendly. It's difficult to search candidates and it would be great if there could be a question in the application that could disqualify candidates without having to work through all the applicants.

It's an all-in-one programme for us as a HR department and it's great how everything can be done online - paperless. The candidates also enjoy receiving our offer and then communicating via the platform.

As an HRIS, it is a solid tool which does as it says on the tin. Some valuable insights and reports are provided, easy enough to navigate and a responsive support team. Would work particularly well within an SME which needs an all-in-one solution.

Reasonably strong employee reports, however, from an ATS perspective, there is a static number of options you can use to build a report from and you won't find basic information like average time to hire. As an ATS, it is no good, clunky UI experience, and the same goes for its use as an onboarding tool. I would love to see them be great one thing. That being said, if you are a smaller enterprise business and want an all-in-one solution, I think it will do really well for you.

We needed an HRIS & ATS and BAmbooHR seemed like an all-in-one solution for us. It has helped within the HRIS space, keeping track of employee details etc, but not so much within the ATS space.

The tool is excellent, comprehensive, and, for the most part, easy to use. It seamlessly integrates with most of the additional tools we use. The pricing structure is competitive and getting the tool setup is fairly easy as well.

Getting support from their customer success team is a real pain. It takes a long time to get them to reply, and then just send you a link to read documents. I ended up looking for a third-party trainer to figure out how to get the most out of the tool. Their customer success team is very disappointing.

On the ATS side it can integrate seamlessly with LinkedIn, and all the test batteries we use and allow us to automate the workflows for the candidates so we don't need that many people to manage the recruitment side of the business.

Fairly user friendly, the interface is simple and clean, but not sterile.

I was sad to have to leave. The time tracking was unable to track multiple pay rates. I was disappointed that the payroll integration wouldn't work for our needs. It also lacked a robust HR component, LMS and Benefits Administration.

I did love the way my staff profiles were organized and this was the first time I used an ATS which was a game changer to help keep us organized and more effectively communicating, since the team could see comments.

Bamboo is very easy to use. The search box at the top of the screen allows you to look up forms, job postings, candidates in one place, Very little clicking to find what you need! Love the ability to send documents through the system to sign,no need for external Acrobat sign or Docusign.

It's not very robust. The reporting function is very limited and you can't always get the information you need or want out of it. The ability to customize the fields aren't great either - which leads to having to manually get information you want out of employee's profiles.
