Browse AI Pros and Cons
- No-code, point-and-click robot creation — low barrier to entry.
- Broad integrations (Sheets, Airtable, CRMs, warehouses, LLMs).
- Scalable options and managed services for enterprise customers.
- Strong monitoring, dynamic content handling, and proxy/bot-evasion tooling.
- Transparent tiered pricing including a free plan.
- Credit-based billing can be confusing; premium/difficult sites cost more credits.
- Data retention limited (90 days for standard plans).
- No on-premise/self-hosted option; proprietary platform (not open source).
- No public CLI tool; locked into cloud-based APIs and UI.
- Task runtime capped (example: 60 minute limit on standard plans).
Look along Browse AI’s pricing cards and one label changes without warning. The free plan reads “Credits per month — 50”. The three paid plans read “Credits per year” — 12,000, 60,000, 600,000+. Set side by side, free-to-paid looks like a 240× leap. In matched annual terms it is 600 credits a year against 12,000, or 20×. Still a large step, but not the one the layout implies — and the same unit switch makes the monthly and annual billing views incomparable at their defaults.
- What it is: A no-code AI web scraper that turns any website into a monitored, structured dataset.
- Best for: Teams extracting data from a handful of sites on a recurring schedule.
- Pricing: Free, or $19 to $500 a month billed annually. Verified August 2026.
- The honest catch: Credits are quoted per month on one plan and per year on the rest.
What Is Browse AI?
Browse AI records what you click on a website and turns it into a robot that extracts the same data on a schedule. No code, no selectors to write. Its own framing is turning “websites into live structured datasets”, and it claims 770,000+ individuals and teams doing so.
Three capabilities sit underneath: the AI web scraper itself, monitoring (re-run on a schedule and alert on change), and deep scraping (following links to extract from nested pages). All three are available on every plan, free included, which the comparison table describes simply as “Full platform access”.
Output goes where you need it: Google Sheets, Airtable, Make.com, Pabbly Connect, Zapier, webhooks, Amazon S3 and a REST API.
Compliance is stated as SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and CCPA, with the SOC 2 report available on request via the Trust Center.
The unusual thing about the plan structure is what is not limited: robots are unlimited on every tier, including the free one. What you buy is credits and domains.
How Browse AI Works
- Unlimited robots on every plan, free included.
- Credits are the meter, and domains are a second one.
- Annual billing gives all credits upfront.
- Free is metered monthly; paid plans annually.
- Overage costs more than every included rate.
- Premium is managed service, from $500 a month.
Browse AI Pricing
Prices are per month, billed annually. Credit allowances on the paid plans are per year.
| Free | Personal | Professional | Premium | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price | $0 | $19 / $38 | $69 – $319 | from $500 |
| Credits | 50 / month | 12,000 / 24,000 per year | 60,000 – 360,000 per year | 600,000+ per year |
| Domains | 2 | 5 | 10 | Custom |

| Robots | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Extra domains | — | $4/mo | $2.40/mo | Custom |
| Overage per credit | — | $0.024 | $0.017 – $0.013 | Custom |
| Support | — | Basic email | Priority email | Dedicated manager |
The full annual grid: Personal 12,000 → $19, 24,000 → $38. Professional 60,000 → $69, 120,000 → $129, 240,000 → $239, 360,000 → $319.
What actually decides your cost:
- The credit unit changes between the free plan and the paid ones, and the cards sit side by side. Free is labelled “Credits per month: 50”. Personal, Professional and Premium are labelled “Credits per year”. Reading across, 50 → 12,000 looks like a 240-fold jump; in matched annual terms it is 600 a year against 12,000, a 20× step. Nothing is misstated — both labels are correct — but they are adjacent columns in the same table using different periods, and the arithmetic a reader does by eye will be wrong by a factor of twelve.
- The same unit switch makes the billing toggle look better than it is. The annual view opens on 12,000 credits a year at $19/month. The monthly view opens on 2,000 credits a month at $48/month — which is 24,000 a year. So $19 against $48 is not like-for-like: the annual default carries half the credits. Compare the matched tier and the annual price is $38, giving a genuine saving of 20.8% — exactly the “20% discount” advertised. The claim is accurate; only the default selector positions differ. We verified it across all five matched pairs and every one lands between 20.0% and 20.8%.
- Professional is 3.6× the price of Personal and 27% cheaper per credit. Personal costs $19 per 1,000 credits and stays there — 12,000 for $19/month and 24,000 for $38/month is exactly linear, with no volume break at all. Professional starts at $13.80 per 1,000 and falls to $10.63 at its top tier. So unlike many ladders in this review series, moving up here genuinely lowers your unit cost — by 27% at the first step and 44% at the last.
- Above roughly 39,500 credits a year, Professional costs less than Personal plus overage. Personal tops out at 24,000 credits ($456/year), after which extra credits cost $0.024 each. Reaching 60,000 credits that way costs $1,320 against Professional’s $828. The crossover sits at about 39,500 credits a year — the number to check your own usage against before renewing on Personal.
- Overage is dearer than every single included rate. Personal’s $0.024 per credit is 26% above its own bundled rate of $0.019, and more than double Professional’s best published rate of $0.0106. Professional’s overage band of $0.017–$0.013 likewise sits above what its higher credit tiers include. There is no configuration in which running over is cheaper than buying the right tier, so size the allowance deliberately.
- Domains are a second meter, and they are priced differently by tier. 2 on Free, 5 on Personal, 10 on Professional. Extra ones cost $4 a month on Personal but only $2.40 on Professional — a 40% lower rate on the more expensive plan. If you scrape many sites at modest volume, that gap can matter more than the credits do.
- Robots are unlimited everywhere, which is genuinely generous. Every plan, including the $0 one, allows unlimited robots with full platform access — the AI scraper, monitoring and deep scraping all included. The constraint is how many sites you point them at and how many credits they consume, not how many automations you build. Products in this category more often cap the automations themselves.
- The free plan is a demo, not a workhorse. 50 credits a month across 2 domains with 3 users is enough to build a robot and watch it run, not to keep a dataset current. Treat it as an evaluation tier and budget from Personal.
- Premium is a service, not a plan. From $500 a month, it covers fully managed onboarding, data transformations, data management, a dedicated account manager and custom limits, with Browse AI promising you are “up and running in 10 days”. That is consultancy attached to software, and it should be evaluated as such rather than compared per credit.

Who Should Use Browse AI
- Teams monitoring a few sites closely. Unlimited robots across 5 or 10 domains.
- Non-developers who need structured data. Point-and-click robot training, no selectors.
- Anyone piping data into a spreadsheet or automation tool. Sheets, Airtable, Zapier, Make and webhooks are built in.
- Higher-volume users. Professional’s per-credit rate falls 44% across its tiers.
It fits poorly for one-off large crawls, where credit costs mount without the recurring benefit; for teams needing many domains on a budget, since domains are capped and charged separately; and for anyone treating the free tier as production, at 50 credits a month.
Honest Pros and Cons
Strengths
- Unlimited robots and full platform access on every plan, free included.
- A real per-credit volume discount — 44% cheaper at the top tier.
- The advertised 20% annual saving verifies across all five matched tiers.
- Extra domains cost 40% less on Professional than on Personal.
- SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and CCPA stated, with the report available on request.
- Broad output options — Sheets, Airtable, Zapier, Make, S3, REST API.
Limitations
- Free is metered monthly, paid plans annually, in adjacent columns.
- The billing toggle’s two defaults are different credit volumes.
- Overage always costs more than buying the right tier.
- Personal has no volume discount at all — its two tiers are exactly linear.
- Domains are a separate cap, at 2 / 5 / 10.
- Premium is quote-driven beyond its $500 floor.
Browse AI Alternatives and How It Compares
- Bright Data is the enterprise-scale data collection network, priced by traffic rather than credits.
- Apify offers a marketplace of prebuilt scrapers plus a developer platform, for teams comfortable with code.
- Octoparse competes most directly on no-code point-and-click scraping, with a desktop client.
- Zapier or Make may cover simpler jobs outright if the site already offers an API or feed.
The Verdict
Browse AI is a well-built no-code scraper with a pricing model that is fundamentally fair and one presentational quirk worth navigating carefully.
The fair parts are substantial. Robots are unlimited on every plan, including the free one, with full platform access — the AI scraper, monitoring and deep scraping all in. You are charged for consumption and for how many sites you point at, not for how many automations you are allowed to build, which is a more honest structure than most of this category uses. And unlike several ladders reviewed in this series, moving up genuinely lowers your unit cost: Personal runs at a flat $19 per 1,000 credits, while Professional starts at $13.80 and falls to $10.63 at its largest tier — 44% cheaper end to end.
The quirk is the unit. The free plan’s card reads “Credits per month”. The three paid cards read “Credits per year”. They are adjacent columns of the same table. Scanning across, 50 → 12,000 reads as a 240-fold jump; on matched annual terms it is 600 against 12,000, or 20×. The same switch affects the billing toggle: the annual view opens on 12,000 credits a year at $19, the monthly view on 2,000 a month — 24,000 a year — at $48. That looks like a 60% discount and is not one. Select the matching tier and annual is $38 against $48, a 20.8% saving. To Browse AI’s credit, that is precisely what it advertises, and we verified it across all five matched pairs: every one falls between 20.0% and 20.8%. The claim is honest; the defaults simply are not aligned.
Practically, three numbers decide your plan. Personal has no volume break — 12,000 for $19 and 24,000 for $38 is exactly linear — so it caps out quickly. Above roughly 39,500 credits a year, Professional at $69 beats Personal plus overage, because Personal’s overage rate of $0.024 is 26% above its own bundled price. And overage is dearer than every included rate on every tier, so there is never a scenario where running over beats sizing up.
One thing that is easy to miss: domains are a second, independent cap — 2, 5 and 10 — and extra ones cost $4 a month on Personal against $2.40 on Professional. If your work is shallow monitoring across many sites rather than heavy extraction from a few, that 40% gap may decide your tier before credits do.
Start on the free plan to confirm the robot builder handles your target sites, but plan the budget from Personal — 50 credits a month will build a robot, not keep a dataset alive.
FAQ
How much does Browse AI cost?
There is a free plan with 50 credits per month, 2 domains and 3 users. Personal is $19 a month billed annually for 12,000 credits a year, or $38 for 24,000. Professional runs from $69 (60,000 credits a year) through $129 (120,000), $239 (240,000) and $319 (360,000). Premium starts at $500 a month for 600,000+ credits with managed services. All annual plans release credits upfront.
Why does Browse AI’s free plan look so much smaller than the paid ones?
Because the units differ. Free is quoted per month (50 credits); the paid plans are quoted per year. Read across the cards and the step looks like 240×, but on matched annual terms it is 600 credits a year against Personal’s 12,000 — a 20× increase. Both labels are individually accurate; they simply sit in adjacent columns using different periods.
Is Browse AI’s 20% annual discount real?
Yes, and we checked every tier. The confusion is that the annual and monthly views open on different credit volumes — 12,000 a year at $19 versus 2,000 a month (24,000 a year) at $48 — so the headline comparison is not like-for-like. Match the tiers and annual is $38 against $48, a saving of 20.8%. Across all five matched pairs the saving ranged from 20.0% to 20.8%, so the advertised figure holds.
When should I upgrade from Personal to Professional?
At roughly 39,500 credits a year. Personal maxes out at 24,000 credits ($456/year), after which extras cost $0.024 each; reaching 60,000 that way costs $1,320 against Professional’s $828. Professional is also 27% cheaper per credit at its entry tier and offers 10 domains instead of 5, 10 users instead of 3, and extra domains at $2.40 a month rather than $4.
How many robots can I run on Browse AI?
Unlimited, on every plan — including the free one. All tiers also carry “full platform access”, meaning the AI scraper, monitoring and deep scraping. What is limited instead is credits (consumption) and domains — 2 on Free, 5 on Personal, 10 on Professional, custom on Premium — so the constraint is how much you extract and from how many sites, not how many automations you build.

The onboarding process is super fast. I liked how quickly I could input a website, setup a workflow - and best of all, it just works! Great product.
We did not have anything that we disliked about the product. Browse AI was an ideal solution for our CDaaS team.
We use Browse AI to develops lists for lead gen and docket data in the legal industry.
Really quick to learn how to use it, much of the process is automated. What also helps is that the user interface is clean and uncluttered making it a delight to use. There are so many use cases - I use it for research. Support is also very responsive and helpful; one of the best I've seen in a long time. Hope this doesn't change!
There's nothing to dislike about it really, it appears a really solid piece of software. A couple of times the data has been a bit more tricky to pull, but an email to support and they're straight on the case. The few issues I've had have been fixed in no time at all. Really impressed.
Research is time-consuming so I use Browse.ai to pull that data and put it in a spreadsheet for me.
It is fun to use! Dead simple and really fun!
The 60 second learning curve was a little inconvenient, but if you can push thorugh that you're good to go.
Automation and Integration across tools
Browse doesn't require a dedicated person. It's great products, scrapping and monitoring, both have a simple workflow that anyone on the team and figure out and maintain. This ease of use without sacrificing quality has destroyed any potential bottlenecks we would face by incorporating a new third party tool.
The only thing to dislike is the limitations of web scrapping itself. One robot can do several different jobs, but it can do one job really well and at scale. It's not browse ai, it's the way the internet is structure that make this task difficult.
We are in the contract translation service. The contracts live online, across hundreds of providers. They also change key terms at random times, Browse solved all of our concerns with this product breaking point.
Its an excellent tool for automatic data capture, also easy to set up and connect with drive spreadsheets. Also very user friendly.
Sometimes the table selector for pick the elements and information i wanted to take from a website doesnt work as i wanted.
In a project at work some people from the system develomment area complaint they cant take data from a site -.- So i wanted to try some web tools i look at online (just for fun and learn because i doesnt work in that area) and after some attempts it worked excellent.
It is so easy. No code, no complication, very straightforward and clear.
Nothing. I would love if it can support korean language.
It is solving me on data gathering
Browse AI is a fantastic product for web scraping. It is intuative, very easy to use and there is a great support team on hand should you need any help.
I'm yet to come across something that I dislike
Browse AI enables me to extract data in which I was previously unable to do automatically thus saving us hours of time on a weekly basis.
It’s a very simply and reliable tool to extract data from web. In just minutes I solved my problems with browse AI after spending hours with other tools
Nothing ! Just the amount of credits for free plan.
Getting data for my investments to use together with google data studio to create my personal dashboard.
I'm really enjoying using browse, with a few clicks you can create robots to monitor competitors web pages, really anyone can do it. They also have great support system, they have helped in a couple ocasions when I wasn't able to extract the info that I wanted.
I don't have a negative thing to say, honestly. Only that the robot sometimes doesn't work the first time. But as I said customer support is great and they help you with this.
extracting data and monitoring for hundreds of products, it is saving a lot of time from our product managers and letting them be more productive.
What sets Browse AI apart from its competitors is its intuitive user interface, making it incredibly easy to use even for those who might be new to the world of artificial intelligence. The platform offers a wide array of features and capabilities that cater to a variety of tasks and use cases, from data analysis and natural language processing to image recognition and more.
Learning how to use the tool properly can take some time.
One aspect of Browse AI that I truly appreciate is its constant evolution, with regular updates that introduce new features and improve upon existing ones. The customer support team is also outstanding, always ready to assist with any questions or concerns.
Browse AI simplified the process of scraping websites for basic data and being able to rapidly grab data from a variety of sources. We've used many related tools in the past and Browse AI is by far the most powerful and easiest to use to date.
The way they count tasks seems a little ambiguous, it still confuses us. It took some time to understand how it's calculated. They seem to count a task as any row of data rather than pages scraped. It would be better if they counted pages scraped as some times, if you scrape one page with 100 results, it counts as 100 tasks, which seems a little bit over the top. They also count test results against your credits, it would be better if they waiting until after you finished testing it before using up valueable credits. They also need to add more organizational UI changes, for example when you have 20+ tasks, it gets a bit messy. They need folders for tasks.
While not core to our business, we constantly find the need to grab data from various websites and Browse AI makes this burdensome task rather trivial. We love it.
Ease of use and simplicity to scrape data from anywhere on the web. The automation of the scraping is extremely time-consuming! I cant get enough of this tool.
Nothing I dislike, perhaps the limits could be bigger but that is asking for too much.
Market research and data scrapping
Browse AI was super easy to use and opened up a lot of opportunities for us to aggregate information that would have taken us months to develop.
None so far... and all issues we faced were resolved by their support team in a timely manner.
NFT information aggregation... saving us a lot of development cost and time.
I love how easy AI is to use, it takes a minute to get it down, but it is simple. I feel that this software is a HUGE time saver I regularly scrape data from websites and have "multiple" robots help with scraping, capturing, and organizing data.
There is nothing I really "don't" like but there is a little learning curve, once you get it down, it is very efficient it is that initial start-up that is a little confusing, I would like to see some more training on using the different features but the ones I know how to use are fantastic.
Browse.ai automatically detects, scrapes, and organizes different data points from single or multiple web pages, compiling data from websites whether it be images, information, emails etc can be very time-consuming with Browse.ai this time is cut down tremendously.
Love the monitoring and how you can set it up to watch certain sites. Love how it detects changes over time.
One of the sites I'm trying to use it on it doesn't work, but the team is supposedly working on fixing it. Customer support has been great.
Helping me to scrape data that's relevant for my CRM
The ease of use and webhooks to integrate into our API are exactly what we need.
Being an early-stage startup I realize that some edge cases and features are still baking.
Our speed to market and scraping data that we would have spent too many dev cycles to collect and validate and build. This service cuts down costs, development efforts and validation of data in the markets we want to expand to.
I am a UIPath user, and choose Browse.AI to retrieve structured information from different websites with low coding and low maintenance. For me, the primary benefits are; 1) No need to program selectors, and update them, to retrieve information from predefined URLs. This is quite time-consuming in UIPath. 2) Great REST API connections make it easy for me to use the information captured in a workflow - or post it into a database. Also provides solid documentation for this. 3) Helpful support: Ardy and his colleagues are very helpful with technical questions - and help me solve technical issues. Also gave me lots of free credits to be able to build a solution, and test it properly, before management approval. 4) Favorable pricing scheme: You can subscribe for as little as a month - this makes it easy to try the solution without having to commit for a whole year, and easier to convince management.
Some websites are difficult to retrieve information from, and therefore require attention from Browse.AI support to work. I also would like more endpoints on the monitoring API, which currently lacks some functionality.
Monitoring different websites for changes on a daily basis. Collecting information about the market to be able to make better decisions. Enhanced market knowledge with very little time spent on coding - or manual work.
All the things you can do with ease and fast. Before knowing BrowseAI for most of what was offered, I had to write code.
All is good. Everything works as expected.
For me mostly scrape websites and gather all the needed information from around the web in one place.
Walks you through everything and does so elegantly.
No complaints. I bought it, logged in, and was instantly able to do a scrape. Very easy.
Easily scraping and saving data from the web.
I like that: It is extremely easy to use. Their support is excellent. There were a couple of sites which the tool was having problems with. They have a dedicated button for such cases and when clicked support responded with a working fix within a few hours. The element selector is good at allowing you to select the information to be scrapped. Respects your permissions (only requests access to the google drive files it creates, and the chrome extension guides you through what it needs, why and does not request access to anything outside its scope). Is both a scraper and a monitor (I.e. can check and notify if legislation has changed etc.). There is no need to buy additional premium credits.
No dislikes, however, it would be great if the scraper could automatically ignore already scraped items (when scraping as part of a weekly schedule) so to better control credit usage. Would also love to see larger scraping limits in future.
Part of my job is analysing regulators, competitors and clients to identify from a safety perspective, what they are doing well, what they are not doing well and what they are focusing on improving and then comparing that data against my employer's plans/performance. To be able to do this requires that I obtain a significant amount of information that is not easily found and or onec found extracted in a digestible dataset format. I have been using Browse.ai to find and extract this data (and then filter it to find the information I am needing) and keep abreast of market conditions.
It's very easy to use with help from the Chrome extension. This is the easiest program I've ever used
I totally like the program/service, dislike it? I want a cheaper price :D
I would like to track the data from the popular real estate website in my local area. However, none of the RSS feed generators work. I have no way to track the data except visit the website every 30 minutes. But with Browse Ai. it helps track all the changes and emails them to me.
How responsive the support team is. Not only that but how fast they are
I dislike that sometimes I have to update the robot but, I think its normal
Scraping and acquiring mass data
I like that it is working! It does what it promises and it is easy to use.
i would like more prebuilt robots, but it is a matter of time i believe to increase them.
it is helping me get data from various places on the internet and prepare my campaigns
For my needsit was perfect, I found it was super easy and helpful to extract data from the platform.
High price point, especially for the monthly plans, but the software does make your life alot easier.
Ease of data extraction
The Browse AI crawling application excels with its user-friendly interface, providing an intuitive experience for users of diverse technical backgrounds. Its API customization feature adds a layer of adaptability, empowering users to tailor the crawling process according to their specific requirements. The well-documented API ensures accessibility for both novice and experienced programmers. The application's efficient crawling mechanism explores websites, delivering comprehensive and accurate results. It seamlessly handles various content types, from text to multimedia, enhancing its versatility. The Browse AI crawling application impresses with its exceptional and prompt customer support, providing users with a reliable and responsive assistance experience.
Unfortunately, the API lacks the functionality to feed the extracted links from one robot to another, hindering the seamless workflow integration and preventing the desired result from the second robot. Therefore, the implementation can be tricky and unhandy
Extracting event data
It so easy to follow along and teach it to do the work for you. Even a complete beginer can build a working tool super quickly. Building these used to take hours now it takes minutes with Browse AI.
The free plan is very small and restricts the volume you can test with.
Time saving for the win. I can do the work of 10 projects in the time I now complete one in.
I liked its easy data extraction and data monitoring. It uses AI to sort and identify relevant data from the website making it easier to get the get rather than manual work of copy-pasting. It doesn't require coding and the data is directly fed into the excel sheet that is easy to share and use.
It has competitive pricing. Not free completely. One thing I didn't like was that it doesn't give the option to deselect or remove any part of the selected part of the website while generating the dataset. It chooses automatically and we have to remove a few things in the end in the CSV file to make it as desired.
It minimalizes the job of copy-pasting and making a dataset. It uses AI to detect relevant data lists and helps in reducing the time to create a dataset. All of it is done by this. It is pretty fast and has great integrations to connect the data furthur.
I have used quite some scraping tools, all of which have their own merits. Where browse.ai shines is however in the easy and no-code way to build custom scrapers on any website. It not only provides money and time savings but also allows for spontaneity and flexibility by not having to brief any developer and being able to do adaptations yourself on the fly. They also provided great support when I needed, were very responsive to my requests and didn't hesitate to jump on calls to help me with the proper setup and fix issues. That is how SaaS should work, not only easy and well documented BUT setup the business model in such a way that it allows for hands-on support when needed. People have enough stress solving all kinds of issues, so the service is a great part of the value proposition. Other SaaS companies could take an example from these guys.
I understand the complexity and dynamic of such a tool. It's own nature makes it so that it may need more maintenance than other tools. While I am well aware of it, others may not be. Also, there should be alternatives provided whenever something breaks or is temporarily unstable, such as - a more basic scraper, like when your windows computer shuts down and you have the "safe mode" where you can't do much but what you can do just works - a marketplace for manual scraping / data cleaning, as not all data scraping can be perfectly automated. this marketplace should have vetted professionals so that you can expect a certain quality standard and not be at the mercy of a wild west service providers/freelancers ( just like electronic store has vetted local partners for client in-house service )
- Data Scraping - Market Intelligence - Monitor function so that certain scraping jobs can just be setup and collect data in the background - The great feeling that I have a competitive advantage of many competitors, who are less knowledgeable and sophisticated in their use of data
Browse AI is quick and easy to set up and simple to use. Support was really great as well.
There are always limitations with using automated processes and there were some very minor ones with browse AI which were easily resolved.
Getting information off websites is what I used Browse AI for and it was simpler than other products I've tried in this space
Browse.ai is the simplest and most straightforward program on the market. I have tried several and Browse was the winner.
The monitors are great, but you have to be careful not to eat up all your credits. A warning alert would be a valuable addition.
It is saving me a lot of time gathering and integrating data into Google sheets.
