Support reps like Amir Mujahid. He's honestly the man, even by Cloudways standards. He went above and beyond, as I've become so accustomed to with just about every support experience with them. I'm a lifetime customer. Not to mention, they have 24/7 immediate availability every time. Which is great, because these things usually can't wait.

Listen, unless you're going super premium your server is going to have its quirks that are unique to each hosting service. There's no getting around it. And, unless you're a super-nerd database dweller, the solutions to these issues can make you want to pull your hair out. Cloudways is no different. This is why support should be your #1 consideration when looking for managed hosting.

Keeping up with constantly evolving databases and web protocols so I don't have to. Saving me time, energy, and most importantly, HEADACHES. Hosting with tons of options and pricing comparable to self hosted. What more do you want?

Cloudways makes my life easier with managed hosting for my web applications. I have used Cloudways for over a year and realised it is not worth spending time doing regular tasks where I don't learn new things. Cloudways uses advanced built-in cache and CDN to ensure high performance during peak traffic hours on my website, making it very convenient to scale and manage backups.

I had to make a switch with Cloudways from using Azure to AWS cloud for better services as there is no integration of Cloudways with Azure cloud infrastructure.

The main problem with me is not being so much technical. For example: many times fall into some issues with my website, and I really don't know how to manage it. But here comes the cloudways, because I don't need to do anything. I just need to get in touch with cloudways live support and they take care of most of the technical things, and always give me best advice.

Cloudways offers amazing facilities at amazing prices but I feel that it cannot be used for hosting websites with sensitive data as the support teams can also access servers. This is the only area I feel Cloudways can further improve security.

It's good all around I don't dislike much of anything

I like that I can create my own servers in a non technical way. I don't have to use other "shared hosting" plans that have other peoples websites that impact mine. With my own server I can do anything I want and I have full control over it. I don't have to spend a ton for that either which is a huge plus!

Everything has been great. My only small issues are it would be nice to have phone support even on the lower level hosting. Also would be nice to have some type of cpanel where I can access files when needed.

It solves my create your own server without it being expensive and not having to be technical. It is super simple to switch between servers and access the main settings I need to get to.

Our old host was terrible. Always went down and the htaccess file was always coming up as corrupted. They would fix it and say it was fixed for good but we were calling 2-3 times per week to get it fixed and the whole site would go down.

Confused package plans, calculation of cost is a bit difficult.

With Cloudways, I was able to easily install my Node.js application and set up SSL by default. This resolved the issue of Mixed Content when accessing the backend from my frontend HTTPS domain. I did try AWS, but unfortunately, they do not provide SSL with public DNS which made it difficult to resolve the Mixed Content issue.

As a web developer, I constantly worry about WordPress speed optimization; the Cloudways WordPress hosting is fantastic, and my site speeds are A+ on Gtmetrix. Also, the free backup is a lifesaver for me. Usually, I could not take regular backups of my site, but the Cloudways auto backup feature is just incredible :) Great support and a Highly qualified team of experts are just a few seconds away whenever I need them.

Nothing terrible; I miss my old cPanel, but it's not a big deal here. We can use the FTP to make the changes :) Also, I know the Cloudflare entire site cache is marked as coming soon, so please add these options soon.

Can't explain, but the managed hostings are very costly, and in my comparison, Cloudways offers the best price. Another best part is you can choose servers from various service providers in one place and increase the server limit per your requirements.

Most helpful part of Cloudways is the multiple options for the cloud provider and also easy deployment of applications. As a WordPress developer it was a breeze for me to deploy wordpress.

Signing up process took some time for me. May be they have solved it now, when I signed up instead of authenticating using credit card or mobile I had to wait to recieve an email from their end and upload my Identification documents.

As a small team we are able concentrate on our business rather than spending lots of time and effort on configuring servers, Cloudways made this happen. Also choice of multiple cloud providers helps us not to switch between different managed hosting providers.

Customer support (is beastly) and the speed of my WordPress. I was desperate and had tried many hostings until I found Cloudways. Other competitors promise speeds that have never been reached and customer service is superior - you always have someone from support attending to you in less than 3 minutes.

If I have to mention a downside, it would be the price - in the end, you are paying over €600 per year for a hosting service.

The main problem it solves for me is the loading speed of my WooCommerce store and having the assurance that there will always be someone providing support.

Digital Ocean, Vultr, AWS and similar cloud servers are brilliant but need technical expertise to set up, configure and maintain. Cloudways takes care of all that and more, leaving me free to focus on other things. I switched to Cloudways two years ago and cannot recommend it highly enough. The platform is user-friendly, reliable, and has everything I need to run multiple websites. My role has changed recently from being an agency owner in charge of several clients' websites to being in charge of marketing for a large company. As an agency owner, it was essential for my websites to be up and running 24/7, with no downtime or slow loading times. Cloudways hasn't let me down, and any issues I have had have been dealt with quickly. Moving away from my agency and seeing how some companies manage their websites has made me appreciate Cloudways even more. I've seen businesses depend on cloud servers to handle their websites, with no one managing or updating them, especially since covid. Over the years, I've used various shared hosting platforms, VPS servers, and managed WordPress hosting providers, but I'd been considering switching to a cloud hosting provider for some time and eventually decided to go for it. Cloudways is essentially a cloud server concierge service. You get access to cloud servers such as Digital Ocean servers, but they're set up properly and managed through the Cloudways interface. And then you get the bonus of having technical support, which is perfect if you don't have the time or knowledge to manage your own server.

You can't use Cloudways to set up and manage email as you can with cPanel, but making your clients switch to the likes of Workspace or Office 365 only improves the reliability of their email service. Managing DNS is another issue to get used to. I use DNS Made Easy for most projects or manage DNS through the domain registrar. There is an initial learning curve if you've been used to using cPanel. Once you figure out how things work and what options are available, it's easy to get new websites up and running.

Apart from the benefits of cloud servers, the biggest benefit of Cloudways for me is having access to their technical support team should I need to. I'm comfortable with learning to do what I need to do, but managing a cloud server alone is beyond my capabilities. Cloudways gives me a sense of security that I wouldn't get from using Digital Ocean alone.

I love how easy and quickly it is to spin up a server and get live ASAP. For Wordpress it is an absolute breeze! Plus the support is amazing too, no problem too big!
