Easy transfer, and good interface of the app
sending money to my account takes too long
makes transfer easier
Deel HR need to have a lot of improvements, for now is a great addition which is horrible to use. I wish one day it will be same level the payroll system.
HRIS PAYROLL is great, support team is absolutely nice. Well, I believe this is not a great thing send out system to use before it more adjustable and ready, company wasting times for deal with the things. Roots were great, the change you provided has way lower quality. It's disappointing
Finance department is very happy. Onboarding is too raw, Engagement is fine, Org chat in roots was nice, now it's more like a mess. Not influence much, we are looking for another HRIS
Convenient system for getting paid. The user support was a great help
The interface is very complicated, despite the detailed instructions, not every employee could not register, draw up contracts and issue invoices on their own at the first time.
Simplified the company's payroll
Not much at this point. They seem to have cool features and options but there were some issues for me initially
If you run an organization that deals with something as important as money, then you absolutely have to be efficient and do the very basic thing of getting people their money on time. These are just the basics. Deel on the other hand have taken a different approach. Despite many assurances from management and customer support that they are 'working on it'. I'm still yet to receive my salary from the 15th of September. It's October 3rd. I don't know what they think I'm using to pay my bills meanwhile they tell me to 'be patient'. My point? October 4th: My salary is no longer MIA although I'm still baffled how money can just go missing like that. I think Wise was the problem since they used Wise to process my payment into my local bank account but til today I haven't received it. Deel had to refund me for the payment as they await a refund themselves from Wise. I'm happy they tried to come up with a working solution for me.
They were supposed to have been a more cost effective option for our remote company and colleagues to be able to get paid, receive their money with low fees and be in control of how it's all done since they have quite a few options to get paid. Hoping to see these benefits going forward
Our dedicated CSM Maxine Ohayo is great by being rapid in her response and always trying to find a solution.
The platform and that the process for onboarding new members takes a long time (especially if edits are to be done after the SOW has been signed).
Allowing us to employ in countries where we do not yet have any local precense.
Ease of pay as an independent contractor.
When I was full time the Chilean cell had no clue whatsoever of payment laws. And the ranking "leader", the chief of Latam, was very rude when called out on this.
Currency exchange and multi-country payment.
They manage my tax for me.... I don't have to worry about calculating tax
They have no way of separating business expense and allowance, now I have to pay tax for a company computer
Deel allows me work outside my country
Benefits are good, but not so interesting.
I waste a lot of time making refund requests
Make payments from my company that is based on US
no me gusta tanto porque todo el contenido de la paguina viene en ingles y es tedioso estar intentando saber o conocer todo su contenido
estar traduciendo todo el contenido de la paguina
la traduccion del contenido de su pagina
The contract signature, invoicing and getting payments though Deel is perfect.
So far I didn't face such an issue with Deel that I could mention as a dislike.
Deel helps to sign contracts with the clients very smoothly and later to organize payments too.
I like that it took off work from out bosses in regards to time off and that I can see my yearly pay calculated. The customer service wasn't bad either.
Pay was given at the first of every month which made holidays (Christmas, Easter, etc.) harder. Being remote from me made getting paperwork done and else harder. But mostly I mind pay on the first instead of the last of the month like I was used to with my previous employer.
It solved the problem of employemnt working for a company overboard as it does not have a way to open a sister company in my country.
It's super convenient to not need to create an entity in each country and to pay all employees and contractors in one spot. The new HRIS for free also is nice, and makes sense to give away for free for small businesses.
Deel is very expensive. At first it seems like pricing is simple - one monthly fee for EOR services but then additional charges add up. $5 per payment, visa sponsorship fees if you want sponsorship, excessive visa renewal fees, and best of all - a $1250 fee to end the visa. Deel loves to brag in their fundraising announcement of their 85% margin and it's clear how they get it - with these excess fees.
Hiring employees and contractors in countries where we don't have an entity and don't want to create an entity. It's also convenient to pay once for everyone, regardless of where they are.
