"GA4 gets 5 stars for data collection and 3 stars for reporting and analytics"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Enterprise SaaS marketers like me love the user-centric approach GA4 takes to web analytics. GA4 does a great job of providing marketers the means to understand how users interact with our websites and apps. The event tracking features in particular are helpful; for instance it's easy to use events to understand who clicked a certain button on your site, and when. Cross-platform tracking is helpful to understand the behaviour of users who have touched your website and your app. Can you imagine how this could be helpful to your customer service and customer sales teams?

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

GA4 is a sharp tool that can cut you if you don't handle it with care. That is: GA4 does not come out of the box magically configured to your needs. You're going to have to put in quite a lot of work to configure the platform to provide you the reports and analysis you would prefer.

What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?

My primary use case has been conversion optimization and attribution tracking for SaaS marketing. The platform's path analysis and funnel analysis features are important tools that help me understand which page designs, CTA's, form layouts, and copy work best.

"Best Analytics Tool for Businesses"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Google Analytics shows real-time user data like user behavior, user location, how much time a user spent on a page, and their device(mobile or desktop). It also stores the analytics information like in total how many users have visited my site in a specific time period. It also stores information like from where the user visited my site (e.g. Organic or Social); I can also know, how much of my traffic came organically and how much from other sources.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

There are too many configuration options available for Google Analytics and I could not find any documentation by Google for beginners hence it might be a little complicated for beginners although they have a pretty great support team who provide support through live chat, email, and phone support and they can help with the configurations

What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?

Google Analytics provides free analytics and it is very beneficial for students and small businesses without having to spend money for analytics. Google Analytics helps me in managing my business and analyzing my content by utilizing features like Knowing the behavior, and demographics(like location), and Views help me in knowing which content of mine is working well in which part of the world. Using Google Analytics now I know which pages have high bounce rates, and low engagement time, hence I can optimize my content accordingly.

"Insights and Optimization for Performance Marketers"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Google Analytics provides invaluable insights for performance marketers like myself. It enables me to track and analyze user behavior on our websites, understand engagement levels, and identify areas for optimization. The ability to set up goals and track conversions allows me to measure the success of my marketing campaigns accurately. I appreciate the flexibility and customization options available, such as setting up custom events and tracking specific user flows. Google Analytics empowers me to make data-driven decisions and optimize marketing strategies for maximum performance.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

While Google Analytics offers a wealth of features, I find that setting up accurate segments can be challenging at times. The data sampling can impact the accuracy of segments, and I would like to see improvements in this area. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have more advanced data visualization options and the ability to easily share those visualizations with my team.

What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?

Google Analytics plays a crucial role in solving key challenges for performance marketers. It helps me understand how users engage with our websites, which channels and sources are driving traffic, and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. By gaining insights into user behavior, demographics, and device usage, I can optimize our websites and marketing efforts to improve performance. The ability to measure performance year over year and compare conversion rates across subdomains allows me to identify areas for optimization and make informed decisions that benefit our overall marketing strategy.

"GA4 for the Win!"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Google Analytics' recent update to GA4 is now pulling data at a more granual and active level. Instead of just seeing viewer I can see the active time readers are reviewing our articles. I love it!

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

Currently, GA4 cannot pull data for our multiple products at the same time. I have to pull the data for each of our 9 products separately which is more time consuming.

What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?

We need to see what type of response we are receiving to the articles we publish on our 9 different digital magazines. We reference specific Clients in all of our articles and our Clients are interested in the data as well. How popular are our articles and how is the response to our stories?
