Compare Google Cloud with other popular tools in the same category.
Google cloud SQL is easy to scalable and it is easy to migrate SQL database to Google cloud SQL database. It also provide ready only replicas.
The one thing that I dislike is that we have to face latency from working outside Google cloud environment. And there are some preferences that we cannot update.
I am using Google cloud SQL for easy migration, scalability and cost savings with better speed which results into fast delivery of projects.
Google Cloud Run provides you a platform to deploy and mange your applications with worrying about the actual resources. Easy to use UI and tools like Cloud Run button, CLI command line interface for advance features, is available to manage our application. Another benefit is the flexibility and scalability is taken care by Google Cloud Run.
When it comes dislikes you can't find many in Google Cloud services. It usually depends on the specific conditions scenario how you are utilising Google Cloud Run. When it comes to a beginner i don't think any of the downside, but when you deep down in the cloud platform and serveless service cold start for container and runtime support for the limited language might be a downside.
Google Cloud Run provides a perfect platform to deploy and manage the applications with advantage of flexibility and automatic scaling.
Google cloud run provide easy auto scaling, fully managed, completely flexible and offer simple pricing. It also provide custom networking for GPU's.
There is lack of regions in Google cloud run as compared to AWS.
Using google cloud run for containerisation my applications with auto scaling features according to use.
Simple and unfield developer experience Each service implemented by docker image
Not very useful for applications with background tasks
Automated as we don't require devops professional to organize all this things
It is very flexible and can be deploy code written in any programming language.
I didn't find anything to dislike in this.
It's very manageable compute platform and it's provide for an open api and runtime environment.
There is lot of documentation provided for cloud SQL online making it very easy to find things
It has few functions which are different from the Normal SQL, making it a compulsion to go through documentation
It helps us run queries on big query to do quick EDAs for clients in retail sector
The feaure most prevalent for Cloud run is of course it's ability to deploy and manage apps. It makes it simple to start distribute the app in the language that you like.
For me atleast I haven't yet run into any issues with Cloud run and the services it provides. I know from studying to ACE exam that Cloud run that the expenses can get a bit higher on Cloud run compared to other solutions.
The main problem that Cloud run is solving is to let have a fully managed environment, that is scalable and accepts any language that the apps might be written with. For me it makes it simple as a Cloud Engineer to distribute the apps globally and without having to think much about maintenance of containers.
Easy to connect sources to visualise data
more loading time report when the filters are used
it helps me to connect multiple data sources from different platform and analyse data for better understanding
Consistency, responsiveness and customization of the databases. Supports a lot of different databases.
It takes a lot of time to setup a db, more than 15 minutes just to create one. There is no free tier and it needs additional setup to expose to public internet.
Easily set up an SQL service for internal use or the backend of applications. Suppose you want to run a fully managed instance and not worry about infrastructure; it is the best choice.
It was incredibly easy to get started with Google Cloud SQL, and yet it is still packed with powerful features. I didn't have to wait for any other admins or operations staff to set up a SQL instance for me, which was fantastic. The service worked exactly as expected, and I was able to obtain the appropriate amount of compute power for my needs thanks to the cloud-based nature of the platform.
I have been using Google Cloud for the past two years and have not encountered any problems. Overall, I have no complaints about the platform. Google Cloud offers a wide range of services for software development, making it a comprehensive solution for any project.
Using Google Cloud allows me to avoid the hassle of managing hardware and software for my database. I don't have to worry about keeping a server running or performing upgrades on the server side, as the platform handles these tasks.
The API is pretty easy to use and reasonably straight forward to set up and integrate with your application.
It still takes a bit of processing time.
The fact that we can easily stream audio files to a proper and well-trained dataset. And get reasonably good results.
It is something very quick to use and best for the user experience. This can allow the programmers to write the text and generate the natural language as a assitant
It can be varied to a different languages
Easy to use. It is uplifting a good customer interaction.
Natural sounding voices, multiple options and languages and option to train a custom voice model
Languages other than English don't sound as natural and make the experience less pleasant
Using it for a chat bot such as dialog flow it helps having a chat bot in a similar fashion to the Google Assistant
It is straightforward and cheap to migrate a database to Cloud SQL for MySQL by using Database Migration Service. Cloud SQL works well with DataStudio for creating connected dashboards.
Logging is a bit more complex than in BigQuery. It requires additional setup than BigQuery logging & monitoring that is already integrated in Google Cloud.
It helps migrating MySQL on-premises database to Cloud SQL to centralize the data in the Cloud.
It can easily translates a blog post written format into an audio format to create a podcast quickly.
The audio doesn't sound completely human, the intonations are still a bit different than a normal speech
It is helping us to generate audio content for promotion based on hand written article
Have a great API to interact with the service. And makes really easy in case we have to develop a talking application.
I found that sometimes performance is not that great, so we have to keep that in mind.
We used it to make our device talk to the user, as our device had no screen.
No infra to maintain, you can quickly deploy your image.
Some times is difficult to perform a fine-tuning to improve performance.
We use it in all our microservices
On of the best thing about Google Cloud Text to Speech is its Easy to use, Convert your text and recognise multiple languages. You can simply use the Cloud APIs without any hassle as it has the detailed documentation.
I don't think of any but accuracy can be improve it fails sometimes when its not your native or you have accent.
Easily convert your voice to text with detailed documentation so anyone can use the Google Cloud Text to Speech APIs.
Google Cloud Speech-to-Text supports lots of Languages and the quality of transcriptions are very accurate for almost all accents in English. The results are quite fast transcription is available in the real-time as well as with the upload of audio file. There are SDKs available for different programming languages as well.
The quality of transcription quality for indic languages are not good. The regional dialects are not picked accurately with Google Cloud Speech-to-Text.
Google Cloud Speech-to-Text is helping us to get the transcription of client calls. This is helping us to properly design the client storylines so that we can keep them engaged and get maximum information
I like the authentification process it undergoes for everything connected to the proxy to prevent any fraudulent users from accessing my private data and information.
Personally, I have not experienced any downside(s) to this feature yet. I think it is very easy to use except for a slight issue of connecting and setting everything up but that is a learning curve with anything.
The Google Cloud Identity-Aware Proxy helps me verify and authenticate all users using the software I have connected to this and helps streamline other operations I simply do not have time to focus on.
In the current remote-work age, setting up a company-wide VPN for security is a hassle and a bother to maintain (you don't want it going down when everyone is offsite). Google has provided an ideal tool to grant verified users access to secure systems.
Set up takes some time, requires your users understand what is going on and is not a match if you're not already integrated with google cloud. Which you may not be because... google.
It solves the issue of when you need a VPN but you don't want a VPN--as I said above, when you've got a company working fully remotely and don't want all the hassle inherent.
Nothing its easy to use and no need to remember the password
The concent should be a little specific and we should know what we are sharing.
It solve the remembering the password and its easy
I like how there are a lot formatting options to personalise your report with branding
I do believe it is sometimes over complicated and learning how to use it is a skill within itself
Saves time by pulling data from data sources and is able to visually represent data for clients
The product was very easy to install and work with. The training process was easy
There's not much I can think of, for the most part it met all needs
It's helping to protect our data and store it which is very helpful
I really like the way Google Cloud allows users to access otherwise hidden information with their APIs for google products and makes development way easier and less of a headache.
It's free tier for the cloud compute engine is extremely limited and the pricing is confusing, probably intentionally to make you pay more. A more consumer centric oriented model would be nice.
It's making web linkage via APIs easier. Apps I want to develop that communicate with googles services can be centralized with Google Cloud.
The simple approach to designing complex big data dashboard
Complex UI that doesn't quite differentiate between a dashboard and a look ML
Helping us better understand user analytics to develop products that our customers love.
It helps us write, deploy and debug code faster which can assist in collaborative cloud workspace development.
Even though it is easy to set up, syncing into and adjusting to the product can be slightly difficult for a new/first-time user like me.
Deploying applications and code on a larger scalable level while testing and seeing immediate updates is the problem statement this product solves for me!
Data privacy and confidentiality is ensured with end-to-end data encryption with CloudKMS giving organizations the confidence to share and manage the data freely. The services are ever-evolving and incorporate the changes in the dynamic data space. Its suitability for small and large businesses alike makes it attractive to all. The data processing and analysis technology are really forward. You can get tangible insights for makring important business decisions.
As the platform is very dynamic and vast, mastering the platform to the T can be a task. You require to be constantly keeping yourself updated with all the latest improvements. Though the services are vast and varied, it's facing competition with some of the best players in the market whose offerings are even more diverse. The user interface of the platform is not most friendly. It can get a little confusing while navigating the space.
Specially in design of GUI part of apps i am using these. With these repositories almost 50 percent headache of creation removes from our head. Any one can import these repositories in there code so they have to focus on only critical part of code. These are really fantastic which not only save time though have great features which are dificult to create our own so we have to just focus on core part of code. Thats why i really like these repositories which not only save my time but also increase the speed of developing and these can be run wherever you are.

Network Security it helps me a lot for configuring
All things considered, it understood what I said 90% of the times I used it if for some reason I didn't have the time to write something down. I mostly used it for Italian queries.
The fact that sometimes I had to get very close to my device to make myself understood by Google Cloud Text-to-Speech, but that might be because of the external noise. Otherwise, I would use it more frequently.
It helped me save the time I would have spent writing the query I needed to look for on my browser. It especially helped if for example my hands hurt or I felt too tired to type anything on the keyboard.
