I like how fast you can create a flexible content model and start building the front end. The UX of the product is also amazing and intuitive to use.
There are some features that don't exist yet but I know they are working on them. They also are very receptive to feedback which is refreshing.
We are solving the issue of having our content all over the place and not structured. The biggest benefit for us is to deploy content in a structured way rapidly.
Everthing, it works really well and is highly intuitive.
The pricing tiers! Much better to offer a pay monthly amount for smaller developers like myself, that provide sites for small concerns/clients. For example, Netlify charge me 19 dollars a month for all the services I need. The price hike from free tier to $299 a month per project is insane.
It solves the problem of over-complicated bloated CMS platforms i've used in the past.
It is very user-friendly, even for non-experienced users as I am. I was able to create my schema easily, and when I had any issue, the team was very helpful.
I think it is very good as it is, although I had some problems with "Localize" options (very likely to be my bad)
Organize my schema very easily in order to create my eCommerce solution
-Coming from an IT background, I found GraphCMS incredibly and flexible. -I was able to create complex schemas (50+ models with around 20 fields each) in less than 4 days, with and without SDK. It usually takes me about a month to accomplish the same result with other platforms/databases. -Localized fields are very easy to set up! -It's very easy to create relationships. -Various UI elements (upload files / pictures / map). -GraphQL integration (It's a must-have for my project) -Very Clean UI -Very helpful team
Nothing really for now. I initially struggled a little with setting up permissions, but the GraphCMS Team provided me a lot of guidance and resources to set them up correctly! Thanks
I want to build a project management platform for film, festivals, and organizations. There are thousands of film festivals with a lot of fields and connections (like Award, Films, Organisation, Actors, Organizers). We already saved months of work. I quote my client comment: "The week we spent on GraphCMS is equivalent to spending 10 sprints using other tools"
The support from the GraphCMS team is just as fast as their website. I am amazed at how fast the API is, and how fast and friendly their support team has been!
Somewhat of a clunky interface, there isn't a place in plain site of which environment you're in, and the refresh of data button is hidden behind a menu where I believe it should be more readily available.
Our business needs a fast API for configuration for our clients. We can retrieve our clients configurations and apply them in the website easily.
I have been using GraphCMS as BE in multiple MVPs, and so far, I am more than happy with the results. Great models and content editors. Fast responses, even with the free tier. Excellent support.
I dislike nothing so far. I think GraphCMS is a great product.
Having GraphCMS in your toolbox allows you have a solid BE up and running in no time. Very useful for MVPs and products where TTM is a must.
GraphCMS interface is very intuitive, making it easy to create complex relational data models, even for non-programmers. Furthermore, exploring the content through the GraphiQL interface is an absolute pleasure, making our developers way more productive. Another excellent attribute is the quality of the customer support team willing to hear our feedback and help us out.
The pricing might be a blocking factor for small projects and the interface is english only, what can be another blocking factor for some international businesses.
The main problem we are currently solving is the development speed. The tool helps us make quick iterations during development and helps us focus more on DEV, less on OPS.
Currently, I'm using GraphCMS to power this application: ios: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/rutgers-rumobile/id1036544263 android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rumobile It works like a charm, I'm using the free version, and I honestly can't believe how much you can get from the free version of this software. GraphQL and being a headless CMS, everything just works perfectly. The platform has a very clean-looking UI, and the billing information is very clear. So far, I have not run into any major issues or outages, and I'm certainly looking forward to keeping using this platform for future apps, which I'm sure will be much more significant in scale. I would be happy to pay money for a platform that deserves it!
There isn't anything in particular that comes to mind. Still, I know one of the biggest challenges I'm currently facing right now, which isn't exactly the fault of the platform but rather the framework I'm using in my app, is that when I update markdown data in GraphCMS, it won't reflect the change right away on my app, I know there is some caching going on, maybe having some articles on their website or blogs or forums that talk about how to solve this would be a massive help for me.
The very fact that I don't have to go out of my way to deploy a database and put a WebUI around it for me to upload content so that my app feeds to it, it's a massive plus for me. It saves me so much time and hassle.
I like how GraphCMS constantly send email to ask if help is needed even if i'm on th free plan.
I think GtaphCMS can become the best if its documentation is more beginner friendly and also more training materials.
Mainly content management for websites
Very quick start. Nice user interface. Friendly community.
A bit steep price plan for professionals.
The product gives me a performant backend for mye frontend, that is easy to use and maintenance free. Development starts in seconds, almost no setup required. Just log in and press "create project" and you are good to go.
