The interface is easy to use. It's straightforward on how to accomplish things, and there isn't a lot of clutter making the process simple.
Sometimes the minimialistic approach takes it too far and leaves me wondering is there something I'm missing or where to find things. Specifically, the gray scale doesn't help when the text is small and already a darker color.
Lever streamlines our interview process and lets me give feedback in an easy-to-use system.
Ability to adapt the flow; quick to review; easy to share profiles for related but different jobs.
Impossible to change interviewers after scheduling an interview.
Easy to maintain an inventory of interested and interesting candidates. Easy to share review feedback and comments. Overall quicker to manage.
It's easy to access all information about a candidate at once
The notifications are sometimes redundant
Tracking candidates, interviews and feedback
It is very user friendly. It integrates well with Google calendar and makes scheduling quite easy. It also connects well with social media to make viewing candidate profiles very easy.
The reporting is still a challenge on Lever. This is a feature that they are continuing to build out, but could be more informative and easier to use. I would like to be able to access more in depth reports on the candidate pipeline and process.
Lever creates a database for us to collect candidate data for current and future roles. It also easily allows us to post jobs to a number of job boards and then coordinate the entire interview experience. I like that is customizable and allows us to create our unique steps in the process. It also allows for quite a bit of automation in the interview process.
Love the feature set, application performs well and gets the job done!
Not the friendless app when using from a mobile browser - features appear missing until the desktop version of the page is fetched
Tracking stages on interviewing candidates
It is a simple approach but a measurable way to evaluate candidates through an interview.
I am not sure, but it would be helpful to have a set of questions that can be asked of all candidates and not having to repeat.
Gathering information from all interviewers to appropriately evaluate the fitness of a candidate.
Graphical design is easy to read and simple
Font's a bit small, but other than that I have no significant issues.
Ease of use in seeing candidate status and next steps
I can see how far long the candidate is in the interview process. This allows me to give them updates as they continue to speak without managers and interviewers.
I don't get to see any feedback left about the candidate or any reasoning as to why their applications were archived. It'd be nice to be able to tell the person I recommended why they were not chosen for the role.
Helping me to recommend colleagues to Spotify roles.
The way Lever customizes itself to the user needs is impeccable. I have been using it in my current organisation and the UX is so smooth, amazing and hassle-free, something which every corporate employee looks for.
I don't dislike anything currently, but yes we can think of a modification wherein we let the user choose what options to display at their home page. Just a suggestion of giving the user freedom to choose their Landing page and subsequent pages.
For me Lever is solving the most complex problem of cluttered UX by making it easier for me to interact with the software. It also customises itself basis the user needs which is the most desirable part.
It's very handy to be able to get links for distribution to individuals or for social media so reference tracking is a breeze.
It can be a little cumbersome to complete the fields, find notification settings, and make sure you are configured in the right way.
It helps us track recruitment, manage referrals, and share job postings easily.
the convenience of ATS is always a plus.
Required more training than I would have preferred
tracking and sourcing candidates
Lever has provided excellent support during the implementation and training phase. The product has been intuitive to use for processing internal requisitions and posting positions.
The reports need to be more robust in consolidating data. Currently, we have to run multiple reports, then manually merge them to get the fully comprehensive reporting needed for our business.
Lever has provided us with a more organized Applicant Tracking System than we have previously used. We have been able to consolidate our processes, systems and procedures through implementing Lever.
I can add public and private comments on the candidates profiles which makes it easy to keep data confidential which I've not experienced before.
the ability to pipline candidates isn't so easy
moving candidates through the pipeline easy and having the HM access where candidates are at different stages
The unified pipeline dashboard view is great, so you can see every candidate easily if you are a recruiter on multiple jobs. Also, I like the amount of data you can pull in exports, for someone who does a lot of reporting it's very helpful
Scheduling flows don't make much sense and aren't great when scheduling multiple interviewers non-consecutively (multiday scheduling). The system makes the user schedule each individually instead of in one flow. I also wish Easybook links could be shared so if one individual goes on vacation, another can pick up the scheduling for them
Lever helps support medium size businesses centralize recruiting (all candidates, interviews, feedback forms etc) in one place. It's a great tool to start recruiting with
- Customization (e.g. forms, feedback, mail templates, approval workflows) - Automation (e.g. feedback forms linked to interview stages) - Candidate interface - Candidate pipeline - Functions for agencies
- Tagging colleagues in a note asking to review an applicant is not very practical - Each job ad is linked to its own candidate pipeline, which is not helpful at all since we have to publish our ads in German and English
Lever is quite intuitive to use and has many features that make recruitment much easier. Therefore, Lever is accepted by stakeholders and the candidate experience is also improved.
I like how easy it is to visually see which candidates/how many candidates are at each stage of the pipeline. I also like how easy & customizable the system is when it comes to rearranging steps of the pipeline so that if we make any process changes within our own funnel, it's very easy to update that in Lever.
I don't think the reporting tools in Lever are great. I know Lever recently added/updated Visual Insights, which I have admittedly not had the time to explore very much, but pulling reports directly from Lever is usually a little ugly. We integrate Ashby with Lever to do our talent/pipeline reporting
Lever makes it very easy to open requisitions, tie those requisitions to external-facing job postings, and track the activity we have at every step of the funnel for each of those postings. This allows us to monitor interviewer load management as well as identify pain points in our process.
All the functionalities Lever offers, automation possibilities to be more efficient at work and spend less time on manual tasks. Automation workflows, collaborating with hiring managers and the team, different access levels and last but not least the reporting is great!
It takes some time in the beginning to get your way around Lever. First when I started using it I was a bit lost and frustrated. It's not always 100% clear what happens when you click a button, tag someone or create a workflow. You have to learn your way around Lever and dig into it, so it takes a lot of time initially. Compared to other ATS, it's not as intuitive and the tool didn't really stick with hiring managers in the beginning. Some of the customization is great, but not to a Level that it makes your life really easier. The level of customization can be improved.
Saving a lot of time, better collaboration with the hiring managers and the team, transparency, reporting
data and reporting. candidate management
no onboarding, or auto-generated emails to new hires when they start
having a real ATS that can provide the organization actual recruiting data
Having all communication with candidates in one place. Scheduling through the ATS, feedback forms and nurture campaigns
Not being able to share a candidates profile and send time slots to book interviews with someone else than myself
The data and reporting is very good. Easier to be data driven.
Lever is a great tool for organizing and managing high-volume or niche recruitment pipelines. It also integrates well with complementary tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and various tech assessment platforms. Also, Ally Nguyen in implementation was awesome support!
I am looking forward to future improvement in the data analytics capabilities of the platform. In its current state, the user experience does not feel intuitive or easy to navigate. One thing to consider would be how a recruitment manager would seek to track their team's progress. I know it's in its early stages so can't wait to see future releases!
Tracking candidates in various different stages of the recruitment process is difficult. Lever's parsing feature and integration with LinkedIn is a great time saver on admin work of uploading candidate information when sourcing.
