Very user-friendly, and the customer service is unmatched! The integration between Melio and Quickbooks Online is seamless and saves us time and money.

The only downsides are that since Melio is still relatively new, there are features such as integrating with Quickbooks Desktop that is not supported yet.

It is an easy platform that anyone can learn pretty quickly. The fact that it is free is also a significant benefit as clients can save a lot of money.

With Melio, you can pay someone and decided if they receive direct deposits or Check. Also you get free ACH transfers

Melio is only available for USA based Business as of the time of writing this. hope they expand to other countries

Been able to pay contractors easily and fast

The best thing about Melio is that it's completely free to use! The only time you have to pay is if you are using them to mail checks and even then you are only charged per check you mail. You get two free meals checks per month!

The only real complaint I have is the lack of integration. They have integrations built out for QuickBooks desktop on the accounts receivable end, but you cannot import transactions for payments into QuickBooks.

Whenever I'm remaining payment to a vendor for the first time, Melio helps me be able to send a message to them where they can choose how they want to be paid either by ACH or a check.

I like that I can pay any invoice by bank transfer for FREE, or earn rewards when paying with your credit card - even if your vendor doesn’t accept cards. That's the great part.

That it's not available for some countries where my clients are looking for it. I hope in near future we will find Melio opening those locations as well. That's the only issue I have,

Simplicity to make payments and ask for payments from clients is never been easier. In just one click I can send the payment request to my client and they pay in no seconds with ease.

I love being able to tell my vendors exactly which date their payment landed or will land. I work for an alcohol distributor, so we billback our vendors for samples. Recently, instead of checks, I'm getting Melio payments from the vendors I've been sending my Melio payments to.

I've been using them for almost a year now, and the best I can come up with is when I accidentally hit "Save and Send Payment Now" instead of "Save and Close", I can exit out of the next page and have to back page multiple times. Yes, when I screw up, I have to click a button multiple times is my 'complaint'

I can say, "You'll have it Thursday" instead of "It was mailed 2 weeks ago, if you don't get it in 2 more weeks I'll void and send a new check." It just makes for a better supplier/customer relationship.

There are so many great things about Melio. First, the innovative integration with QB makes scheduling a breeze, Second, vendors love the option to expedite their payment for a small fee. Third, it is so simple and user friendly. It was very easy to learn and it is incredibly reliable.

The only issue I have with Melio is there is definite room for improvement in reporting. I would like the ability to create detailed reports for payments. I also wish that the Noon deadline was pushed back to later in the day.

Melio is solving the main issue of most clients where the bank charges outrageous and excessive wire & ACH fees. As long as you can wait the 4 business days for delivery, this ACH option is the best way to go.

What a great product! 90% of the platform is free of cost. User interface is amazing and the integration with Quickbooks is easy and fast. Much easier than using the banks website for ACH transactions.

The ACH timing could be reduced. Whereas my bank's ACH will take 1 day, Melio tends to take 2-3 business days, which can equate to over a week in some cases. This is a bit hard to explain to my vendors.

We swapped banks and the ACH and payments were very user-unfriendly. It required too much time and effort to use and Melio has addressed this with flying colors.

I like the options melio has. From an expedited check to an ACH transfer, plus you can schedule recurring payments.

I'd like to have more information once checks are mailed out, but other than that, no complains!

You can use Melio entirely for free to process ACH payments to vendors. As a small business with a few contractors we work with, this is a perfect solution, and I can't recommend it enough to others. The only cost is if you send more than 2 checks per month and the layout and speed of payments are great!

I really can't say much about things I dislike. Melio has done a lot of work on UI/UX which has made it better. I wish there was a better way to bulk upload payments but other than that, it is a great platform!

Paying all of our vendors monthly without it being exorbitantly expensive while also making it simple for me without too many limitations. It is allowing me to process our 1099 payrolls easier than ever.

I dislike Melio's speed of payment for some payments, but I am not sure if that is a Melio issue or a receiver issue.

I am using Melio fo my ACH transactions because my bank does not readily offer it.

Melio is so easy to use and I love the option of being able to schedule payments. Just set it and it's taken care of!

Melio solved my problem of keeping track of my subcontractor invoices/payments. I just load em up and then they alert me when one is coming due! We pay our rent also and it's always on time because of Melio! Scheduling out recurring payments is awesome!

I don't have anything in particular to criticize - as someone who uses a small, boutique internet bank for business (one that doesn't allow wire transfers) Melio has been a lifesaver.

I use a bank that doesn't allow for any direct transfers, and my wholesaler will ONLY accept direct wire payments. So, Melio has been an easy and wonderful solution.

I love the flexibility of payment options, the ability to pay contractors via credit card, and the useful tool of just forwarding the invoices to the inbox! It's truly great!

Nothing to note here. There has been nothing so far that has dissatisfied me!

One way that it stands out is being able to select for the payor of an invoice in Accounts Receivables is deciding where to delegate the processing fee if they use a credit card.

We wish it had an auto-pay method for our customers

It is making our payment process easy between our customers and us, everything is very easy to use.

I like that Melio is extremely easy to navigate and use for AP.

I do not like having to reach out to the support team to void a payment or a check.

It wasn't as easy to bulk pay bills in our other payment portal as it is while using Melio - that is the best part.

The simplicity of sending out payments to vendors that I use especially for those that I hire multiple times throughout the year. I'm able to pay them and also keep track of how much I pay them throughout the year for tax time ease.

My vendors can't add in their W-9 so I can consolidate all of their tax information in one area for my CPA. I would like them to be able to fill in their contact information themselves as well.

Keeping track of 1099s for contract workers! I know what I need to send to my CPA for taxes much more easily. I have one less thing to worry about every year when compiling my taxes to hand over to my CPA.

I'm able to schedule multiple payments in advance and later balance my account on the go. I could pay vendors by ach or I could use their check payment option but it comes with a fee

Some glitches the software had in the past, after initiating a payment to a vendor account it automatically sent out the payment to a single use card even when the vendor didn't set up.

Melio transformed how I do accounts payable from having to manually write checks to click and pay. It simplified vendor payments and shortened the time I used to spend managing.

There is a notification that keeps prompting me to connect my Quickbooks Online account when I no longer have a Online account with Quickbooks.

Melio helps me quickly and easily send fast, secure payments to my Vendors. Melio always makes sure that my payment is sent on time.

Let's be honest: As owner of a small company, life can be hectic and challenging and traditional banks don't necessarily have your back. Depending on who you are banking with, Melio is an excellent value add on and provides functionalities most regular bank or won't. In a nutshell: you can finally schedule ACH payments for free. Secondly, you can assign "collaborators", being Admin, Accountant or Contributor with varying permissions. Meaning, you can delegate payments to someone in your organization, without them having access to everything and set security thresholds for transfers, etc.

There is a little trick to make payments go out faster that is not well explained: If you add a "bank account", outgoing payments will take a few business days. If you find the "add debit card" under "add bank account" (instead of under "add credit card" where you instinctively might think it is), then payments go out the same or the next business day if scheduled before the cut-off time of 12pm EST. This could be explained a little better. You have to kinda stumble on it to find out.

Melio is an excellent Payment solution that allows scheduling of payments at future dates. My regular bank is a little backwards and doesn't provide that feature.

The way it's organized it's very easy to understand even by persons who do haven't an accounting or financial background.

I don't like the fact that even if l schedule a group of payments the vendor receives separate checks for each of them.

We are paying all the vendors through Melio and that's been helpful for us, letting vendors know when the payment is on its way and everything else.

The user interface is so clean and simple to use. It's focused, does exactly what I need it to do and saves me a lot of time and hassle. I use Melio to pay bills for five different businesses and it makes it a breeze!

There are a few features I would like to see added to the process but they are constantly rolling out new updates and improvements so I bet it's just a matter of time.

Allows us to easily pay multiple vendors for different businesses with one log-on and one easy-to-use interface. As your accounts and vendors are set up in the system, it's a total breeze to get the bill payment done efficiently and fast. I used to dread doing the bills and now I look forward to it! I know that sounds crazy but it's true. The interface makes it fun!

You can choose who gets charged credit card service fees (meaning you can choose the customer to get charged 2-3% instead of your business) which no other platform allows you to do. Scheduling payments is a breeze. You can upload your invoices or you can create one manually quickly and painlessly. You don't have to collect private bank information from your contractors, instead, Melio contacts them directly to receive their information which reduces security risks to your business. Overall it's a great platform for small business owners who work with many contractors.

It takes three business days for bank transfers to complete, so you need to plan a few days for processing if you want your payments to be delivered on time. It also does not connect to my invoicing system, Wave Apps.

Customers can use a credit card for payments and the credit card fees don't have to come out of my payment amount. I can do direct deposits for my contractors for free and I don't have to collect their private bank information to get connected.

Melio has a clean look with an easy-to-add invoice system, literally uploads and picks up the texts making data entry simple and not as time-consuming, all while being cost friendly

I cant make recurring monthly invoices to get sent, for example, a monthly subscription-based customer we still have to create the invoice and send manually

As a micro-business struggling to be attractive and modern without the added cost to do so Melio makes it simple and fast to receive and request payments from businesses that still like to do everything with a paper check. We like accountability so many transactions are electronic now. It eliminated late payments or excuses for why payments are late

The staff is amazing, customer service is prompt, and the dashboard is very easy to use.
