I like being able to set up complete email sequences that I can set and forget, as well as being able to see the analytics for those emails. It's also helpful to be able to find contacts and sources to reach out to.
I often had issues when uploading CSV's of contacts, so be sure they are perfectly labeled before adding to a campaign - the system will flag errors if it doesn't recognize something that isn't explicitly labeled.
It solves the problem of both sourcing contacts and setting up a sequence for outreach that's completely automated without having to do the manual subsequent follow-up.
The process of finding contacts, creating a sequence, and finalizing your outreach strategy is seamless using Respona, as all of your campaigns are kept neat and tidy. Each campaign has its own inbox and metrics are reported for each. When doing multiple campaigns for the same piece of content you can easily organize your campaigns using folders. It's a great tool when you have multiple teammates using the same tool.
One issue is being able to move campaigns around from one workspace to another. I have brought this up with the team and they are going to be working on it in their roadmap. I always get a response to my questions within MINUTES and the entire Respona team is super helpful. I can't recommend a better product in terms of support - they have been with me every step of the way. I really like how the chat records all of your support tickets - so you can go back and look at previous solutions they have suggested. As a marketer who is starting to have to do more SEO work, this has been invaluable to me.
Respona is automating our outreach for link building campaigns that we are running with pieces of content that we wish to generate organic backlinks with. I can reach out to infinitely more people when using Respona, than I could do manually on my own, by searching for contacts and emailing them individually (very tedious).
Easy to use with many functions for different types of outreach. The customer service is superb, as Farzad and his team quickly addressed my questions regarding functions.
While all core functionalities are in place, there are features that the Company is still implementing to make the product more intuitive. Farzad and his team are responsive to feedback.
Creating highly customized emails to build relationships takes a lot of time. Respona helps by eliminating some of the most time-consuming parts, including easily importing prospects and searching for contact information.
We've been using Respona for over a year now. The platform is intuitive, beautifully designed, and powerful for all aspects of outreach and content building for a fast-growing brand. The HARO feature is incredible, and we've netted a couple of PR opportunities that otherwise would not have happened if it wasn't for testing Respona on top of day-to-day affiliate outreach and link-building activities. Customer service is top-notch, I can't stress this enough. Both the founders and our support teams are easily accessible and go above and beyond to promptly meet our needs. Product updates are frequent and valuable, and so is the support community.
Honestly, no issues with Respona. Fantastic product and team all-around. There were very minor UI glitches when we first started using the app in its earlier stages (keep in mind this is still a fairly new product!) but those were fully addressed. I was impressed with the level of resolution the team provided - almost always including a video walkthrough and live chat. Many software companies tend just to go back and forth over an email thread... not when it comes to Respona!
Scaling our affiliate marketing efforts - using Respona in conjunction with our social listener to engage high ticket bloggers. Most recently, we found success outreaching to local and national publishers for a press release, using Respona's PR tools to fulfil the gaps of a PR agency.
I like that you can manage the entire outreach process from one tool! (Except email replies), and the free user seats.
It doesn't have an intuitive way to navigate through the steps of sending a campaign, at least between steps 3 and 4. Other than that, they don't have a referral program :(.
Before Respona, I was subscribed to about 4 different apps and had a team of 10 people doing outreach! I've actually cut costs by a good amount thanks to it.
It is easy to use and has capabilities that other tools don't, saving me tons of time. The new feature called "Press Inquiries" is a cool addition as well. Oh, and the support is super fast and helpful.
I cannot say that something comes to mind. In my experience using the tool so far, I have been satisfied using it, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to build links and relationships.

It is a tool, so the outcome depends on the way you use it. As it offers many different things, it can get complicated to use it. But the support team is really reactive and has always answered all my questions very quickly and effectively. So in the end, I have nothing to complain about really.
It is great to receive some alerts when someone is talking about a subject I want to follow. It also helps me contact people with same interests

The only comment I'll have here is that some contacts appear as an opportunity but they might end up as an error and you'll get replies from Gmail itself that it doesn't exist anymore.

Customer support is amazing. You can chat with the founders at any time and they respond thoroughly and promptly. I use Respona very frequently, on a daily basis and can do so many different tasks on it. The feature where you can pull contacts by searching for a specific podcast guests is the best thing ever created. It makes finding relevant podcasts so much easier.
A lot of the contacts it pulls aren't relevant news outlets and that uses up a lot of the montly credits.
Respona is not only finding articles relevant to the topic you are looking to pitch, but it also pulls the contact for the reporter. This saves so much time.
I love how Respona provides so many templates for various campaigns and contact search automation. This feature is particularly helpful for beginners who are just getting started with email outreach. One aspect of Respona that could use some improvement is the inbox management and organization. Currently, when I receive a second or third reply from a respondent, the message remains marked as read, so I missed some important responses. It would be great if Respona could enhance this feature so that the inbox automatically updates to display unread messages when a new response is received. Having this minor issue resolved would make it even more convenient to use Respona for handling all email outreach tasks smoothly.

Sometimes respona does not find an email address.
So I had some problems with the name of my CSV, and the client quickly identified what was wrong with my file and helped me to solve the problem.
Accuracy in finding contact information and warnings to prevent spam. The UI is fun. The executive and support team are top notch.
Like all SAAS you will want a back up alternative on hand "just in case" of downtime. Respona used to have glitches as they were growing but has gotten better and the support team is the best support team in the industry, I have had to contact them often - but they are helpful and responsive. in other words, Respona, when they were migrating to a more robust system, broke more often than I would have liked - but for the last few months straight it works! Also price-wise it is frequently a debatable expense when budgeting because there are multiple in-house/creative ways to do what Respona does for free (being honest). However, I keep ending up renewing because Respona's support and executive team is Excellent - like I want to work there they're so good (seriously, if their team ever asked me to be their Chief Coms Officer or offered a board seat I wouldn't hesitate they're that impressive at their jobs) - And the contact finder is accurate (depending on the domain - if you get good at manual searching, albeit time consuming, it helps with research). The UI is also fun to use, almost gamifies my day. I still have to use my own expertise, industry secrets/know-how, personal relationships and strategy - it is far from "automated" - but is better than having a human intern/assistant.
Contact email verification, research, certain communications scheduling. Managed to save time by not having to hire and manage interns for basic tasks.
I like I can schedule multiple emails as sequences and see the overall response rates.
Really difficult to navigate once someone responds. You can't mark incoming messages as unread or click into specific contacts when you are reviewing the overall response rates.
