App, it is great that I have the option to use the app in the field
Needs to be more user friendly, this is a large amount of information and is a lot to learn. It is great when you get there.
Helps me to stay in control of the new names and information I obtain daily
I like pretty much everything about the software . I like how it tracks all my clients info and very easy to navigate . Logs every bit of information
Only thing i think needs improvement is sometimes it freezes and you have to relogin your info. Can be annoying at times
Solves all my business problems by in regards to tracking all my leads ands has all there info. When we last spoke . How long was the convo. Saves me time and I can focus on making my deals
This platform is a very good way to stay organized on each of your prospects and clients. From small details to large key factors, they are all in one place.
It can get complex with all the levels to wade through. It takes a while to understand the platform. I am sure that there was so much more in terms of uses but it can get overwhelming.
Organization! Tracking of the sales process for all prospects. That was very helpful. If someone left the company, they could go and check the status of the account here.
Lighting seems to make especially reporting much easier.
When you're used to the old layout, it's just hard to adapt, especially when you're busy and training yourself is very time consuming.
Lead management
The ease of accessing and documenting conversations.
It doesn't flag duplicates and harder to search through our database.
It allows for me to keep pipeline leads in constant communication while converting and changing lead users is easy.
how easy it is to mass update when needed, and create new views
i can work faster on golden nugget and like how it's all on on page not multi
can be tidious and slow on occasion
The platform can be customizable for your business.
Some of the interface is not intuitive to use, can be weird layout sometimes.
It makes it easy to track many different businesses and contacts.
The overall feel of Salesforce Lightning is a lot more intuitive and less clunky than Salesforce Classic, meaning it is easier for new users to get to grips with. It is far more aesthetically pleasing and elements like the Kan-Ban view on opportunities is great for quick monitoring of opportunities. It is also far easier in terms of adding contacts and opportunities than the classic view.
There are features that are missing from the classic SF meaning if you are an admin or power user you will constantly need to flip between the two views which is inconvenient. Reporting is not as easy to set up and some integrations do not work with the lightning view.
New users are quick to get to grips with Salesforce Lightning so if the additional functionality is not always necessary it speeds up the onboarding of new staff that are inexperienced, and for sales meetings being able to view opportunity stages from one page is great.
I like the flexibility to add custom fields.
I think the learning curve is a little steep.
We are organizing and managing our client database by creating lists of distinct personas.
Ease, user friendly, Trailhead is the best way to learn the platform, Lot of documentation.
Sometime its diificult to reach to support reps
Bussiness Workflows, Processes, Handling and Manging sales.
Takes a while to navigate. It is a versatile program but is not practical in all sales situations.
It doesn’t flow well. I feel like I am often doing the same thing over and over and this tedious busy work can get cumbersome.
The process does not flow in a manner that makes sense. I feel like I’m having to do things more than once and it is tedious busy work.
I like the ability to keep track of a wide range of information for our members,
I dislike the little quirks that I encounter while using Sales force.
Keeping information flowing between YMCA's in the association.
Mostly I like the newer look and feel and how everything flows together. I feel like the flow of the product is now more coherent to what most modern day products are like today. It looks like better than classic and is continuing to grow.
I am disappointed that some of my favorite, or most used features of classic have gone missing in lightning, yet I think that what I was trying to accomplish in the past still can be accomplished, I just need to figure out a new strategy. Overall, a bit upset that there is some re-work involved just to give a new image.
We are trying to keep up with what is being developed. There are many new features that are coming out that are awesome and we want to harness their power and cannot unless we enabled lightning. We have already found a benefit with the re-usability of the components and the chatter refreshing. I like that more is still coming and we will be able to take advantage of it all.
Salesforce is the best known CRM - it's good that people can use it as they move organizations
it's a little overcomplicated if you don't have a REALLY good administrator.
Keeping all of our client/prospect data organized in one place
It’s a clean UI. Relatively easy to use. It’s obviously a pretty good product.
Although it’s trying to stay innovative in the CRM market. There are also some new CRM companies really focused on sales. I don’t think salesforce is the best tool out there now.
A CRM to keep track of relationships with clients and prospects.
Salesforce is pretty intuitive and easy to use once you regularly start using it. Depending on how your company has set it up, it can be overly complicated.
I wish Outlook could tie in directly to Salesforce, without having to open up and add-in and select associate to salesforce each time.
Documenting all communications with external parties, such as partners and other associates. Keeping contacts updated for same.
Easy to use once you learn it. Upgrades easily.
A little tricky to get used to at first.
Sales account and lead tracking
all in a centralized place that allows selective visibility to partners
super clunky. not streamlined. i take too much time using it and waiting for it to load
customer needs. benefits definitely include remembering deal progress.
I like that everything is very easy to find and organize.
The cost. And that you have to buy certain platforms to use certain features.
We can keep all information in an easy to access for the entire company. This site allows us to access all of our information from anywhere with internet access. Also, there is an app that makes it easy to keep up to date on tasks.
I like the data collection the best. You can process reports that are very helpful for your business and keep many details about clients.
It can be complex for setup , need a lot of training to get things going.
We are keeping track of sales data and account information after a sale. All contact information collected in SF.
i liked that this pulled data from order management and inventory management apps
i disliked the process of trusting a data dump into a new system
we are solving the problem of having too much data in too many places. benefits we realized are being able to analyze data trends faster and easier.
Prebuilt data connectors for hundreds of services.
Custom Adapters for non OData sources took some time to configure but have been very useful and we'll liked by associates.
Access to real time customer data, ticketing system and contacts management via mobile applications and websites.
The design is very clean and the layout is easy to navigate
Hitting enter when typing out a task saves the task rather then jumping down a line. Also, it's slower than classic. It's gotten faster, though
Keeping track of tasks
The ability to store all sales information along with attachments and contracts for easy keeping.
No way to pull a list of accounts that don’t have attachments to further review.
We’ve been able to centralize our sales platform and keep all contracts localized in one place.
Its super easy, and keeps all my leads in order. Without salesforce, I wouldn't properly be able to keep track of all my leads
Sometimes the dashboard doesn't work properly. It doesn't log all of my calls nor emails, and sometimes its extremely messy.
Overall sales pipeline and account management
The program is very quick and I love that it integrates with Box.com and we can always add selections as our needs change
Just that our IT team has to be the ones to add new features. It make sense since I'm not great with technology, but it would be nice if it was simple enough that anyone could do it.
We use it as a project management system and also to track interactions with certain clients. It is much easier to have everything there than to try to keep track on paper or through email.
The interface makes it easy to navigate and gives it a sleek look.
It is a little slower than Salesforce Classic.
We are able to integrate all of our marketing efforts into Salesforce and manage all sales and leads.
I started using Salesforce on my first job over 10 years ago. At first, it was a bit overwhelming because I was joining a large organization that had been using it for years. It didn't take long to get the hang of it and then began to love it. It's very easy to manage all of your prospects and accounts from a sales perspective. Reports and dashboards make it very easy to run performance reports for an entire team in seconds. We started using connect about 12 months ago and we've been leveraging our internal microsystems to display data to our sales team while they are on live calls. This has helped us increase revenue and show the customer potential ROI on the call.
Depending who is managing the salesforce configuration it can be a bit difficult to navigate. Creating API keys can be very complicated as well. It took over an hour to figure out how to generate a CLIENT_ID and CLIENT_SECRET. This was very frustrating for me to figure out. Took us a bit of time to integrate one of our systems but after exchanging a few emails with technical support, we were able to get everything figured out within a day or two.
We use it to manage all of our internal data for sales to leverage while they are on a call. This has helped us increase our revenue because sales have been able to leverage data.
I like the fact I can use this software while I'm remote even from my mobile device app
Sometimes logging in can be an issue but not very often
I am able to connected with my sales and submission data
One stop shop on holding files and looking up communication on projects/clients
A lot of clicks to maneuver through the program
Any miscommunications that might have with clients. We are able to house all emails, calls, any contact method along with data that supports the contact. Helps alleviate discrepancies to refer back.
