The platform offers all the key functions required to get started selling online courses. The user interface is very intuitive and it was easy to get started combining this offer with the information Thinkifiq share online on YouTube etc.

The only thing I have anything negative to say about so far is the designs of the different Diplomas and Certificates. I would have preferred the possibility to design my own as it is a vital part of my company profile.

Well - the overall major benefit is that this solution has allowed me - a mediocre data guy - to create a training and building my own new business online.

The tutors can make web designs of their own.

The promotion of the content is not very well supported by the team Thinkific.

Thinkific is a purpose-built online course builder software so not only does it have all the features necessary to build and manage an online course, but also offers the ability to support students and market your courses.

Like all platforms, there's a bit of a learning curve with understanding how to get set up initially. There is however plenty of tutorials and courses (of course - no pun intended) to help you work your way through step-by-step. I think it's well equipped for the novice to self-learn at their own pace.

Thinkific allows you to create an online course that has a high chance of being completed due to the interactive tools and features that it provides. For example, one of the features I find most useful is the quiz feature. This allows the student to test their knowledge at the completion of a module and works towards recreating a class-like experience, rather than a "read this and good luck" style of appraoch.

Building and sharing knowledge is nearly effortless

Like any new service, there is a learning curve, but is far from challenging

People need to learn the material I'm teaching in a new way so I use audio and video instead of endless boring text. My study guides help people who learn differently, like me.

I love that Thinkific was extremely easy to set up. I especially love the free plan which I currently use. Since I'm trying to grow my business this is great to still get a course out but not have to worry about a huge overhead cost - especially if business is slow to pick up.

Thinkific was incredibly easy to start with and test the waters. They have a free subscription that allowed me to build out my entire course and start selling it for $0. It wasn't until I actually started to make profit with my course did I upgrade my plan to a paid plan and unlock other features.

The community section doesn't work very well in practice, I wish it was a bit more built out and mirrored Facebook groups with notifications and other ways to get people engaged.

Needed an online platform to build and host my course, I didn't need all the extra features that other course builders provided. I wanted a relatively inexpensive solution that focused solely on the course builder.

I love that even with their Free plan, you have all the necessary functionality to get yourself up and running. Then you can add features as you need instead of having to pay for things you don't really need

Limits on having outside payment avenues

The tutorials and handholding on something as daunting as setting up your own online courses made life so simple. All the platforms have the tools, but Thinkific guides you step by step to making your own course.

There isn't much to dislike. I guess that the free account only lets you do 1 course, and limits some tools, but if you're serious about online course creation, you're going to sign up.

I am not a techie, and I found that creating my course on Thinkific is easy to use, and find my way around the platform. Uploading my videos and worksheets was easy and if I messed something up it was easy to delete and start again. I like that their online and phone help really know what they are doing and can explain things so I could understand and resolve any issue I had.

The pricing is okay but could be better in my opinion.

Thinkific gave me a platform where I could host my courses, set my pricing and easily share a link to sign up for my program. I really like the ability to share a sign-up link.

My favourite thing about Thinkific is how easy it is to navigate and utilize to its potential. I love how easy it was to set up the multi-pay links for courses, which we had troubles with in the past!

With the multi-pay links, I wish there was a way that customers could access the cart and checkout page without needing to create an account first.

We are training and coaching Shopify store owners to grow their sales. We host group coaching calls, and it's a nice feature to include the zoom details right in the portal.

Having an online course powered by Thinkific has changed our business forever. We initially joined knowing that the online course market was growing, but weren't sure if our courses would be translatable to an online format. It's given us so much freedom to teach less one-to-one and instead have students take the training whenever is best for them.

Unlimited courses & students, unlimited content hosting, great student experience, easy course and user management, great features such as video courses, quizzes & assignments.

It's hard to dislike Thinkific. Maybe course/user-based pricing instead of feature-based pricing would be great. Or even better, offer both user-based and feature-based pricing.

With the current pandemin situation, most of our in-class courses have migrated to online format. Thinkific has enabled a smooth transition for us and have helped us create a great student onboarding and learning experience. The platform is stable, user-friendly and intuitive for both teachers and students.

Nothing as such. I love the interface and it was surprisingly easy to set up. No Indian payment gateway direct interface and setting it up with zapier was expensive.

For the development of the training projects, we needed a platform that would work on all devices and that was also easy to learn to use. Without hesitation, Thinkific is extremely intuitive and allows you to build solutions without knowing how to program.

I can quickly get a course online and monetize it. I can easily create a membership and provide them with drip content and communicate with them easily through the site.

I love the layout. I love the security. I love the backoffice features like monitoring and moderating access to our material. It also provides us with marketing, and ultimately compensation possibilities. Great Platform for our training videos.

It would be lovely if it could accommodate all the translations that we have, for the various people groups. As a Not-for-profit, it is just too deer for us to maximize our training for each of the 21 language groups we are catering for at present. Since we basically have 6 different courses, it transcends the ability of our resources.

We wanted to have a drop and play platform where we could monitor progress, and monitor who watches what. We were looking for a secure platform where we could know for certain who actually views our material, as well as create a medium by which we could interact with those who watch the various videos. We also wanted to track the progress of participants, as well as provide a pathway for those who successfully complete the associated Assimilation Sheets, to be rewarded with a certificate of compliance and completion. This platform provided interaction opportunities.
