Possibly due to the size of the number of candidates, the results were bogged down at first.

I dislike the user experience when new chats are created with the same freelancer during different stages of the process. Referring back to conversation is tough when you have multiple chats with the same freelancer during one project.

I'm using Upwork for research and data entry. It's been beneficial to use because of the flexibility. We don't always need someone on payroll to handle these one-off situations.

It is easy to hire and find IT, professionals

Some users try to increase pricing after you hire them, in some cases more than 2x. It should be easier terminating the contract with them.

Every time that I need to increase capacity, or add someone to a project for a short time, Upwork is my first site to check. It is easy and convenient. Also, the tracking tool is awesome and allows me to check progression and document the expense.

We like the way Upwork ties the messages between ourselves and our workers to a specific project.

Rehiring a resource is a bit difficult. We wish there were a way to duplicate a job post to rehire a resource. We do many of the same types of projects with one individual, and it would be nice if we did not have to fill out all the same information every time.

Upwork has allowed us to find resources to work on specific projects instead of adding headcount to our staff. We pay for the work required when we have the job available.
