Zoho Cliq Reviews: 4.4/5 — Solid Choice
Zoho Cliq is a team communication and collaboration tool that allows you to chat, share files, and track tasks in real time. Its integration with other Zoho applications and its AI-powered search feature give it a significant advantage over the competition. Other great features include audio and video conferencing, a mobile app, and customizable workflows for streamlining team processes.

Compare Zoho Cliq with other popular tools in the same category.
Messaging out is quick, and responding is quick also.
Search function and navigation can be difficult at times to follow.
Quick communication with fellow employees. I don't have to find them to ask a question. Or they may answer a question when they are in and I am not.
/ (slash) commands and instant call feature are very helpful. Clean UI and data privacy that comes with Zoho makes it a better choice compared to slack
Sometimes slow and messages load late, performance can be improved
Team internal collaboration is simplified and it connects well with existing Zoho products and acts as a unified medium of communication
I like that it was built right into the software package that we were using already and made it convenient to be in a case and then collaborate with the team.
There was an overall lack of functionality and design constraints that didn't suit well for cross-department collaboration.
We were using it mainly for one department communication, so inner team and it was fairly convenient for us to utilize.
I like that it is easily accessible inside zoho mail and is cheap
UI is bad and needs better integrations with other software. While comparing with. thecompetitors this lacks connectors to other major tools.
cross-team collaboration and since all our team is in Zoho suite it's easy. I also like the fact that zoho cliq has voice as well as video support built in. We can also share our screen and present our computer to all those in the call. This makes it easy for us to have all in one app.
Easy for team messaging, if you have Zoho One it's actually nice to have becuase your Cliq can transfer between apps and you can keep conatct with team mates as you trouble shoot or go through apps and drives.
The think I dislike most about Zoho CLiq is that it's part or Zoho, whic is the worst CRM ever made and it doesnt allow you to send larger file types like other message tools.
Since we had Zoho One it was easier to use Zoho Cliq instead of google chat. slack. or teams messenger. And since it had a clock in/out feature it was helpful when working from home.
Easy access between team members which makes it easier to work
The website can be a bit more user friendly
team communications have become a lot easier
Within the Zoho Suite of apps, the Cliq web version is 'pervasive' - you can continue chat conversations across Zoho Mail, Connect, et al.
-Lack of features when compared to Slack - huddles, audio/video calls that work flawlessly, voice notes, screen recordings, and many more. Cliq has quite a lot to catch up on. -Lack of integrations with popular apps: Slack apps for G Cal, G Drive, HubSpot, Figma, Zoom, Miro, et al are huge value adds to everyday work routines. Cliq doesn't have as broad a base of developers building enterprise-grade apps. -Speed and performance: I've never faced performance issues with Slack, even when using features that are 'heavy duty' - like whiteboarding with my screen shared on a huddle with a large team; or even the audio/video quality during huddles. No lag or ever had the desktop app hang or shut down. Can't say the same confidently about Cliq.
As a business messaging tool for teams, it's pretty easy to set up and start using Cliq. It solves the basic productivity and collaboration use cases - IMs, channels, file sharing, etc.
Innovative broadcasting tool. Inexpensive.
Better options needed in Do Not Disturb mode
