I like how easy and glitch free this program was. It matched my needs perfectly for work and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
Not a thing I disliked about this Adobe program.
Contrast issues as well as resizing
Extremely user-friendly, reliable software for saving images and backups. How else can I say more about this program? Well I think it's also nice to have so many presets. It can be challenging sometimes to piece together the entire thing on your own.
Hard to use the red-eye feature and exposure curve is occasionally excessive. I would recommend starting with the highlights and shadows before you start shifting around the exposure. This way you will remain in much better control than the other shifters.
I edit my photos with this software and one problem is that Instagram filters look too fake. It's honestly a fabulous software for correcting poor images with a wonderful exposure curve. I think it's hard sometimes when there are some reminders that the photos could not be found. It would be helpful to have an edition where I can say "hey, there's going to be ONE folder where I keep all my folders but the actual images may shift around, but as long as they are in one group folder they can still be edited at the end.
their design and more tools and easy to convert files
There is nothing to dislike in this software
Open any document , convert in PDF
I love that you can easily sync your settings to make the photo editing project streamline much faster.
The interface is a little difficult to navigate
It has made mass photo editing much easier than in previous years. so it's very time management oriented.
It was effortless to learn and use right out the gate.
I didn't like how many updates the software has. I feel like every time I want to use it; it is getting updated.
Just trying to maximize our photography collection, so we leverage this software to modify/enhance photos to make the same image look 20 different ways.
Photoshop Lightroom is what you are really thinking of when you think "Photoshop". This is a fast (really fast), stable, multiplatfrom photo solution editor where you are actually in full control of what you do, and there are no second guessings regarding whether the actual product is usable. Take a pic, store it in the cloud, edit with your phone, or with your full blown computer and calibrated display, tweak, tweak, tweak, and then save and export. It's fast, its, dare I say it, fun, and it will bring superior results to basically any photo editing software I've ever tried. It's amazing.
Photoshop Lightroom has very few things you may not enjoy. It doesn't require a huge footprint, but you may find out that with slower phones or mobile devices, or slower computers, refresh rates are a bit slow. Whenever you perform a change, your computer will take a while to apply all your filters and changes before proceeding. It's actually somewhat logical, since the software is dealing with mega pixel images in smaller devices, but it is noticeable, and you'll also feel how your devices may get hot or consume extra battery. A small price to pay for this software's flexibility.
I needed a mobile solution in order to edit photos, which could seamlessly sync to my PC. Lightroom allows me to import JPG or RAW image files, store them in the cloud, and make them accessible immediately to me or anyone else whom I may want to share the pictures with. The photo editor features are great, and cloud storage is a plus.
It is simple to use use the Cloud version of Adobe Lightroom. You can access your pictures and all the adjustments that you have done on multiple devices. To make adjustments to your pictures it's intuitive and very simple to do. When you want to search certain photos the tools for this is really good.
The only negative thing I can think of is, when you have used the Classic version and have done a lot of adjustments, these adjustment will not follow you when uploading your pictures to the Cloud.
The really good thing with Adobe Lightroom is that you can find and enjoy your photos easily by searching either on a project base or date basis. You can also do a lot of editing of photo in a very smart way.
The batch processing option is the best When you have to edit, 100+ photos at the same time. I can simply edit one picture for basic white balancing, or exposure or color balance, and then apply it later on the whole batch. The best part is that it is all 'non destructive' which means that the original photos stay the same if in any case, one needs to access the original photos at a later stage, they can simply do that.
The overall user interface is very nice. However, the export options are a little confusing and sometimes I get mixed up. but it's not a dealbreaker
my everyday basic photo editing for large batches, for almost all my shoots. I have been using it for quite some time now. and I wish to use it for a very very longs period
The one thing I love about Lightroom is how you can turn an average photo into a stellar photo just with a few simple clicks. Whether you are a pro or novice, it is something you can jump right into and it will allow you to turn your photos into a story.
Sometimes there is a significant delay after you save an edited photo which can delay your workflow.
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom solves your need for wanting to make exciting, lifestyle images speak up!
I love the new features with the color grading, and I love that I can do basically all of my editing in Lightroom without having to move images into Photoshop, which is a hassle. I love the sync feature so I can batch edit images from events quickly and easily.
Sometimes it's a little slow/lags a little, but overall it's really good.
I'm a professional portrait and event photographer, and I process all my images through Lightroom. 99% of the work I do is in Lightroom.
It's easy and concise user interface. Love how you can create custom presets
Lightroom will be a little heavy on computer memory and lags pretty often and is not recommended for old or basic computers
I eliminate the need for repetitive changes to me made for the same scene by using presets. It saves a lot of time and helps to just make minor adjustments
Functionality is great. You can easily send and receive filters to other people, which is perfect for those who do not have much experience. I can share the filters that I create with others. Easy to use for beginners or advanced users. It's the more user friendly alternative to photoshop in my opinion.
I have not observed anything negative about this product.
That I can customize filters. That is huge for me because in other editing softwares you are unable to adjust in the same way.
I like how the mobile application of Adobe Lightroom makes me feel like I am editing on a laptop, like I get the highest quality ever editing from my bed.
Sometimes it crashes, and I think it's because some heavy processes, but overall I think it can be more lite for phones.
I edit photos which I want to be captured and edited asap for a sudden project or release.
I like that Lightroom is user-friendly in its simplicity, yet incredibly powerful given its capabilities. Whether you're a novice or seasoned photo editor, Lightroom has a fairly simple learning curve—and once you progress beyond the initial learning period, there's so much to explore. One of my favorite features is the ability to easily copy and paste edits to multiple images. I also like that the mobile version is similarly easy-to-use and powerful.
I dislike that it's sometimes hard to navigate my directories and organize the images I'm editing. Sometimes I'm not even sure which directory I'm in and whether I'm editing the right subset of images because the file navigator is rather small and difficult to read.
I'm solving photo editing and consistency problems. Lightroom makes it incredibly easy to not only copy/paste edits, but also compare images side-by-side so I can create a cohesive look with my images. I'm also solving on-the-go editing issues with the mobile app version. I've realized that a lot of the benefits of Lightroom lie in its ability to create a professional look for my photos with only a few shorts steps.
All filters, tools and prominent use of light options
Customisations are too independent to run at times
Branding images and content
I love the selection tool where you can edit lighting and color of just one area of the photo -- selected as a circle or drawn area. I also love that you can edit individual colors on the photo for saturation, hue, and brightness. Both of these features make it easy to edit photos to look very professional.
For some reason on my desktop computer it is tricky and time-consuming to upload new photos. They load extremely slowly. And then when I'm ready to export, they only export to my "recent" file folder, and I am not able to select the export destination.
My photos look much more professional as compared to other photo editing programs I have used. I think the primary reason is how easy it is to edit lighting differently in different areas of the photo. I can also make my own presets which is fun to try!
I like that it is a toning/editing software as well as as database. It's catalog has been essential to my workflow.
It hogs so much computing power. If you are a professional, and have large catalogs, it can really bog down. It isn't as fast as Photo Mechanic, nor as good at DNG processing or RAW processing (for some files) as Capture One (nor does it tether as well as Capture One), but is a truly all-around photo solution. By building the catalog, it has to manage it, and that takes processing power. It is both its strength and its Achilles Heel.
LR allow me to edit and export almost any assignment. This includes batch processing, batch renaming, and batch color correcting photographs. I keyword images, set copyright, and choose all of the metadata I want in the photographs. Then, upon export, those metadata are carried with the photographs anywhere. Personally, I export straight to PhotoShelter, which produces a plugin for LR for just this purpose.
The best part is festive photo colour grading, most of the time the AUTO button has done the job and save lots of time, but tweaking with the brushes is my favourite.
Nothing only archiving is not so helpful. I would like to have an option through which we can export each album with a catalogue setting with album name on it so that we can open it in any system anywhere with all the setting intact and we modify something and export new versions.
I'm a photographer so lightroom means a lot to me, first I tried On1, then Apple Aperture now past 4 years Lightroom becomes the default. frankly, its a time saver or I can say lifesaver for the photographers.
I love how user friendly Lightroom is. I've been using it now for a few months and have installed some presets that make it super easy to use. I would say I am still a beginner, but I was able to figure Lightroom out really quickly.
I still have a lot to learn as to what all lightroom can do which is a bit overwhelming.
I have installed presets so that I am able to quickly edit my photos for Instagram and Facebook posts and stories. It has been super easy to use and I love how my photos have turned out. I now have an IG page where all my photos give a nice light & airy look to the page. I would HIGHLY recommend Adobe Lightroom to anyone who wants to quickly edit their photos to look amazing. It truly is amazing what a little change in lighting does to a photo.
One of my favorite things about Lightroom is the ability to download and add presets for my personal photos. It makes editing quick and easy.
There are several applications that vary from photo to photo so sometimes I feel like to do not receive a standard edit. That could be due to my photos, it is hard to say.
I am able to make my pictures more professional. Lightroom enhances what I was unable to do before I started using it.
