I like that I can edit photos quickly with such a smart software. I use it mainly to remove red eye and change the tone of the image.
I haven't found anything I dislike exactly.
Quick edits that make photos look beautiful. I can take lots of photos and remove red eye quickly. I can also change the skin tone on photos so people look better.
This software was where I stared when I began using Adobe. It was an amazing way to take a look at the Photoshop software on a more simplified form. It has less tools, but if you're just starting out or just have a simple portrait business this is a great software for that.
I began using Elements in 2006 and I'm sure t has come a long way from now. I would say that if you're a tech person who learns quickly, you may outgrow this software at some point.
It was a great way to learn Photoshop to implement into my professional career now.
If you are not trained to be a graphic designer but need to do some edits to photos- this is the best solution. You don't have to pay for the whole enchilada but still use features to edit photos for your marketing efforts.
Wish just a few more of Photoshop features were in premium, such as some effects.
Not being trained as a graphic designer but can still make edits to photos and not have to outsource someone to do it is amazing!
The fast setup for a work in progress, fast concepts, it really helps to sketch ideas even by drawing or photo manipulation
that it is rarely crashes in mobile devices, but in overall it is quite solid
it is good for fast concepts with a client, helps out to easily work and show a sketch of a working progress, it is a great tool
I love that Photoshop Elements provides all the basic functionality that the full Photoshop program provides but at a much cheaper price. It allows for layer creation, adjustment of single color tones, selection of specific areas of the image, compilation of different images, etc. I use it for advertisement development for studies that I do, and it is sufficient for my needs.
I dislike that the files that it creates are fairly large, so you need to have a good size hard drive in order to be able to store all of the files. Also, sometimes the selection software is not the greatest, requiring you to do multiple rounds of edits to get a realistic looking crop/adjustment of an image. The photomerge feature is great, but it also freezes most of my computers, even when they have greater processing capacity than the program states is needed.
This programs solves the problem of advertisement development for the purposes of research. Benefits realized are being able to create ads that look realistic and can lead to research that informs practitioners about how to best design ads for understanding and targeting of consumers. The programs allows for minor adjustments to ads to be made so you can realize whether or not adding a word or an image to an ad really makes a difference in consumer perceptions.
I only had occasion to use this app when, for incomprehensible reasons, Photoshop had crashed and I had to make do with Photoshop Elements. I think it is an easier and more user friendly app for non-experts as a designer can get trapped in the few commands available. However, it is useful for doing a few things without being able to make mistakes.
Sometimes it is not really user friendly and there is little room for manoeuvre.
I needed to change the lighting and colours of a photograph on the fly, and as I could not use Photoshop, this app did the job. There are a few utilities but they are all useful for doing something!
I like its easy to understand interface, its availability for amateurs. It offers an extensive variety of photograph altering instruments, including computerized highlights for speedy improvements. Its association and labeling highlights assist with overseeing enormous photograph libraries really. Furthermore, it's more reasonable than the full rendition of Photoshop, pursuing it a financial plan accommodating decision for specialist picture takers and fashioners.
Photoshop Components has a few limitations contrasted with the full Photoshop variant, like less high level elements. its exhibition can be delayed with enormous records, and it might miss the mark on of the most recent apparatuses accessible in other picture altering programming. Moreover, there's an expectation to learn and adapt for novices, and its connection point appears to be fairly jumbled. Other than that it's a decent application
Photoshop Elements addresses several problems for users: Photo Enhancement: It helps users improve photo quality, making images look their best. Photo Organization: It offers tools to manage and categorize a large number of photos efficiently. Accessibility: Its user-friendly interface makes photo editing accessible to beginners. Affordability: It's a cost-effective alternative to the full Photoshop, benefiting those on a budget.
The ease of use and the various modules to enhance your experience.
heavy on the system. not suitable for older systems. lags a lot
Creating and editing logos, banners and company letter heads
Once you surmount the learning curve, photoshop feels as easy to use as Microsoft word.
There's a big fucking learning curve lol. Especially if you're self taught.
I needed to be able to add special effects to my photos to name them stand out in the cosplay photography realm. With the different brush sets and tutorials online, I was able to do this.
This version of photoshop it's great for quick edits and I can see some use cases of not very knowledgeable users might prefer to use this version. But for designers and more advanced users like me, I do not see myself using this version for much more than that. I had to use a few times just for quick light and color correction, crop and exports on smaller sizes. One thing that makes me not use that much is that even on my Apple MacBook, it is kind of slow to load the application, that makes me just use the Photos app on iOS/MacOS
Like I said, I feel like Adobe Photoshop Elements is not the most appropriate product for my use case, so I miss the capabilities that the full Adobe Photoshop version has. It is extremely important for me being able to work and export with printing CMYK colors workspace. And being totally honest, I must say that I just use the photos app on my MacBook, iPad and iPhone for this kind of quick adjustments. Being the "default" program for visualizing and work with photos on the Apple ecosystem, makes it much more faster to do this kind of work on it, and the final results are pretty much the same (again talking about quick edits).
I used mostly when I had to do something quick, like cropping, color/lightning correction/adjustments. The major benefit I see are the shortcuts, they work exactly like the regular PS version, which speeds up the process.
Photoshop Elements is really much easier and more affordable, offering most of the key features of Photoshop, on three super useful levels. The most important of Elements' new features, Subject selection uses Adobe Sensei AI to analyze your photo and then automatically select what it perceives as the subjects. It has many powerful image-manipulation tools and Strong face- and geo-tagging capabilities. It ha excellent output options. there is auto-tagging and powerful search options. Helpful guidance for advanced techniques. And then there's this Organizer, an accompanying application to manage your images and create all kinds of (manual or batched) output at a lower price.
It takes large disk footprint. and there is no chromatic aberration correction or lens geometry profiles. It lacks many social sharing outputs. No local help system. Doesn't integrate with Photoshop cloud documents.
Photoshop Elements brings much of the visual magic pioneered by Adobe Photoshop to nonprofessional consumers. Photoshop Elements has a compartmentalized interface that is designed to accommodate the needs and skills of a wide range of photographers, from novices to serious creatives.
Hi, I like Photoshop Elements best; it uses main Photoshop features. But company sets the main usage for people that doesn't know how to use these kind of softwares. But it's easy to use and has help content in it.
I dislike the interface is much bigger than it should be. I think some version changes have been made. Early versions has no group feature. It has no CMYK support too.
It solved my daily needs. I have been used it for my photo editing. But it got sometimes hard to navigate menus and interface. It isn't like original softwares around in the market.
The product is very easy to understand for beginners in the editing field and would like to start a new hobby. It has multiple features that are very easy to follow and it allows the best editing experience for newcomers into this field. It has all of the main features that the professional version has and it is much easier to use it the app is very organised and easy to follow. It can help many people with photo editing and they could use this as a stepping stone to larger softwares. Lastly, the product has multiple different features that make your experience easier with the frequent updates and the organisation of the app.
It lacks many of the advanced features that the professional version contains and other aspects that prevent it from being useful in a proper field of print and production. Another thing is that it can't export files into different modes such as CMYK, a problem that I frequently encounter because I am a Mac user is that I can't add any keyboard shortcuts through the system preferences.
With photoshop I sell creative pieces and this is the software I used to start off with but now I use the professional version. It is a good way for first timers to learn but it doesn't provide the full experience I don't think that many professional companies will be looking to work with Photoshop Elements but it can be used as a side business like I do.
It has all the core workings of photoshop that you’d need for your everyday needs.
It’s not as expansive as full Adobe Photoshop and a lot of key components needed for more in depth work are missing.
It’s helped me with many quick design and editing fixes to photos and designs.

Basic features from Photoshop CC are available in this all-in-one version of photoshop, however, some settings and edits available in Photoshop CC are hidden in different formats when editing across layers.
For users who are accustomed to Photoshop CC, there is a learning curve in using Photoshop Elements and the cost of the software is justifiable to jump from one software to another.
I have been able to edit graphics for logo design in small projects such as slide decks.
It's straightforward and simple to use. It's good for people who are looking to get into Photoshop, or beginners.
Since I primarily use it to edit faces, there is not enough functions to really get the best quality I would say. I think using Adobe Photoshop (the regular program) would be better.
There are not enough functions to deliver optimal quality I would say. Benefit is that it's fast. There is not much lag compared to the regular software.
Very big software distinated to design graphics and making modifications on pictures, easy to use for profissional and for creative person.
Hard to make logos so preferable to use illustrator, a many bouttons with no information on hard to use on computers with low configurations and have many hided options .
make my pictures more profissional and shiny to use and share , make me loving design and push me to search for new creative ideas .
It's easy to navigate for beginners and is a good tool for anyone wanting to learn Photoshop.
Obviously doesn't have the full features of Photoshop, but that's it. Not much that I dislike.
It's a good tool for beginners.
This is very simple software which allows the user to organize and do light editing on photos.
It is quite limited compared to Photoshop CC. It is intended to be used by hobbyists and those posting to social media, rather than professional photographers.
It was used as a cheaper alternative to the subscription-based Photoshop CC.
