The endless options available to view data. i.e. chart types The features that allow you to easily organize the data. i.e. custom events, cohorts and event properties Templates are very usefull for bigenners
The pricing The dashboard UX should be a lot better, more features and better UI design
A. Transperancy and monitoring - Provieds full and accurate view of whats going on B. Desicion making - Allows me to avoide making desicion based on a feeling
The ease of use once you understand the basics
As a new user is difficult to understand but once you get used to it its fine, maybe a better onboarding where its almost like "Amplitude university"
Lack of data and attribution
Prior to Amplitude, we were using 3 pieces of software for analytics, experimentation, and personalization. Amplitude rolls all three of these into one product, at a price that was noticeably cheaper. Amplitude also easily connects to our dataset and salesforce, which gives us much deeper analytics than front-end interactions (although it does that well) Amplitude integrations were easy to set up, we connected to Segment without issue. The charts are easy to create and I really like the anomaly and forecast charts. The emails I get that allow for root-cause analysis has been super useful. I check Amplitude daily. I've found generally speaking the responsiveness of support to be decent and the self-serve portal is very easy to navigate. Away from that, there's loads of official and unofficial YouTube videos that are easy to discover
One of the things I'd like to be able to see, which exists in Salesforce, is whether we're on track/on-target. Amplitude won't let you set KPIs and then report based on them. Being able to add them to a dashboard would be so useful to those who regularly check the software.
We use Amplitude to understand how prospects and customers navigate from PoC to success. We use this to create look-alike campaigns to drive better conversion. As Amplitude to connected to our SaaS, we are able to make better product decisions. We frequently make top-of-funnel decisions based off of website data and experiments powered by amplitude
Amplitude Analytics supports multiple areas of our business. I use it frequently across many projects. It is customizable and allows me to easily copy Dashboards and create larger projects.
The platform can be a bit confusing for the beginner and takes a bit of time to learn the features and capabilities.
We have discrepencies in data and reporting on other platforms that we use and Amplitude is the most reliable source. It also updates MUCH faster than other platforms giving us data in a timely manner.
Amplitude has given us a new depth of insights that previously were hidden or very cumbersome to retrieve with raw data. Especially the speed at which we can answer questions is impressive and pure joy. Knowing what we have now I would not want to miss this anymore.
Thus far there isn't much I disliked. There are a few features I wished they had in regards to event timelines. Their customer supz on the other has been very prompt to help out with any questions and workarounds
Any sort of user analytics and marketing related questiona on web and app
Its Not an eye sore! im not getting overloaded by the layout
Sometimes there are system lags but they recover quickly!
customer usage, providing proof for chargebacks
I like that Amplitude is able to give me insights into practically everything I could want to know about user behavior on my site -- way beyond what I can get with Google Analytics.
I'm always uncovering new features and aspects of the tool -- maybe there could be more guidance in the interface so that I could uncover these earlier in my journey.
Analyzing funnels, diagnosing problems, getting data on user journeys
It is easy to set up any chart on the data you have. The interface is really intuitive, so you don't need to spent your time digging into documentation
I don't see any huge dislikes or problems, just, maybe feature requests. For example, the chart view has a nice table under it, but you can't easily add the table to the dashboard, just the chart
Checking of feature/button/etc popularity among the users
Easily of use. Very flexible with many filters
When I switch between type of chart, e.g: From funnel chart to segment chart. The events that I inputted before will be lose. Have to input again everything
Tracking events, have extension on browse to support us checking what kind of events is running on the product. Can use events, users property to calculate conversion
The user interface is clean, simple and easy to understand. The segmentations and funnel options are almost infinite.
No major dislikes, but it would be cool if you could see a preview of a chart when sharing an Amplitude link in Slack.
We use Amplitude to understand user behavior across our website and app.
Amplitude is super user-friendly and intuitive. You can calculate metrics in a really fast way. All tech companies should have Amplitude
It's a complete product overall. Hard to dislike something about it.
It helps me use data to make business decisions in a very efficient way. Before Amplitude, I had to get data from queries and then use Excel to manipulate it and create charts.
Makes it easy for us to track and identify what actions a user is taking that could result in an error, We are also able to confirm historically what actions a user took to end up in their current situation
The filters can get a bit complex with subcategories and it can be a bit tricky to describe where a specific filter needs to be applied. Some of the results can be a bit tedious to dig through when the calls are super similar but I suppose that comes with the territory
Amplitude solves a lot of histofically vague messaging we can see when clients run into an error in platform - Having visibility into user actions has improved our productivity and we do not need to do so much manual review in our day to day
- friendly interface and copy - gives me helpful tips in the context of my task
- nothing that comes to mind! thanks for a great product
understand how customers are using our product and where we can improve
User-Friendly Interface: Amplitude provides an intuitive and user-friendly interface that makes it easy for users to navigate and access various analytics features and data insights.
Learning Curve: While Amplitude has an intuitive interface, mastering all its features and capabilities might require some learning and training, especially for new users or those less familiar with analytics tools.
Understanding User Behavior: Amplitude Analytics helps businesses understand how users interact with their products, websites, or apps. It provides insights into user actions, behavior patterns, and preferences, enabling businesses to make data-driven decisions to optimize user experiences
Easy to use, a lot of analytics modes that can be used, can be used to track even the most detailed use cases
A little bit complicated at first time, and I needed someone in my company to give an onboarding for this tool
Inform the detailed informations in multiple type of data visualization that I can use to make a better design decision
Great for doing both quick and deep-dive analysis. We have it connected to segment where we have connected our data-warehouse to get business data as well. Using it both for product and marketing analytics.
Nothing really. Maybe a bit more flexible dashboard creation
Product and marketing analytics. Making the data visible for the whole organisation. Making it possible to get quick answer to questions. Prioritize product features.
Easy to build charts. The data visualisation capabilities. The segmentation and grouping capabilities.
Nothing much, at least for my requirements it is working perfect
Amplitude helps us to understand the user behaviour, patterns which helps in taking the right decision while building the roadmap or solving the user problems.
I love all the explanations added everywhere on the tool to help me understand the data I am watching. It helps me to switch the analysis I'm doing, or to choose the rights property. It gives me confidence in my analysis!
Loading time can be pretty long. When you have several tabs open on your browser this is not ideal for your computer. If you could delete loading time, that would be perfect!
Are my features used by my customers? At which moment of their user journey? Are they seen? It helps me to identify weak points to improve, and to make my product impactful.
Friendly UI to let anyone self-serve data Ability to trace a user's analytics journey
The table view at the bottom of charts has poor scrolling - makes it hard to scroll through these data without scrolling the page
Amplitude allows for simple data querying, visualization, and funnel tracking.
