Attio Expert Review

Attio prices AI credits separately at €70 a month for 5,000 — and then includes 10,000 of them in its Pro plan. Valued at Attio’s own rate, that allowance is worth about €140 a month, or roughly two Pro seats. It is the clearest explanation for why Pro costs 139% more per user than Plus, and it is not stated anywhere on the page — you have to price the add-on against the inclusion yourself.

  • What it is: A modern CRM built around real-time data sync and AI workflows.
  • Best for: Small revenue teams that will actually use the AI features the credits pay for.
  • Pricing: Free; €31 or €74 per user per month on annual billing. Verified August 2026.
  • The honest catch: Two separate credit meters sit on top of the per-seat price.

What Is Attio?

Attio is a CRM built for startups and revenue teams, with the tagline “From zero to IPO.” Its distinguishing features are real-time contact syncing and automatic data enrichment — both available on the free plan — and a strong emphasis on AI and workflows, including an assistant called Ask Attio and a recently launched workflows product for what the company calls “revenue agents”.

The plan ladder is conventional at the top and unusual underneath. Free covers up to 3 seats. Plus at €31 per user adds private lists, enhanced email sending and up to 10 seats. Pro at €74 adds call intelligence and sequences, permission controls and advanced reporting. Enterprise is quoted, and brings unlimited objects and teams, SSO and SCIM, and a migration service.

Underneath all of that sits a credit system, and it is the part worth understanding before comparing prices. Attio explains it plainly: “Attio has two types of credits that are shared across our AI and workflows features. Workspace credits: for anyone in the workspace to use on all AI features, including Ask Attio, and workflows. Seat credits: for each seat to use personally on Ask Attio.” So your bill has three variables — seats, seat credits and workspace credits — and only the first is on the plan card in large type.

Attio Ltd is a UK company, and the pricing page served our location in euros.

Attio’s four plans on annual billing: Free at EUR 0, Plus EUR 31 and Pro EUR 74 per user per month, each showing a Save 20% badge, with Enterprise quoted.

How Attio Works

  • Four plans: Free, Plus, Pro, Enterprise.
  • Two credit meters: per seat and per workspace.
  • Annual billing saves 20% on Plus and Pro.
  • Extra workspace credits: 5,000 for €70/month on annual billing.
  • Seat caps: 3 on Free, 10 on Plus.
  • Up to 80% off for eligible startups, by application.

Bar chart valuing Attio’s included workspace credits at its own add-on rate: EUR 3.50 on Free, EUR 21 on Plus and EUR 140 on Pro, against EUR 74 for a single Pro seat.

What actually decides your cost:

  • Both annual discounts are accurate and round down. Plus goes €39 → €31, which is 20.5%; Pro goes €93 → €74, which is 20.4%. Attio’s FAQ states it directly: “Our Plus and Pro plans come with a 20% discount with annual billing.” Both survive checking with the rounding in the customer’s favour — which, after three consecutive products in this series whose “up to” badges covered figures nobody could obtain, is worth noting.
  • Pro’s credit allowance is the hidden half of its price. Attio sells 5,000 extra workspace credits for €70 a month on annual billing. Pro includes 10,000 — worth about €140 a month at that same rate, against Plus’s 1,500 (€21). So moving from Plus to Pro buys €119 a month of additional workspace credits before you count call intelligence, sequences, permissions or reporting. For a three-person team paying €93 more a month in seats (3 × €43), the credits alone very nearly cover the difference.
  • Credits are a workspace meter and a seat meter, and they are not interchangeable. Workspace credits are shared across everyone for all AI features and workflows; seat credits are personal and only for Ask Attio. A team that runs heavy automated workflows will exhaust the workspace pool while individual seat credits sit unused, and the only remedy is buying more workspace credits at €70–85 a month per 5,000. Model your workflow volume, not your headcount.
  • The seat caps bind before the features do. Free stops at 3 seats and Plus at 10. A team of eleven cannot stay on Plus regardless of what features it needs, and moves to Pro at €74 — a 139% per-user increase. If you are at eight or nine people and growing, price Pro now rather than being surprised by it.
  • The free plan is unusually capable for a CRM. Up to 3 seats with real-time contact syncing and automatic data enrichment — the two things that make Attio distinctive — plus 100 seat credits each and 250 workspace credits a month, with no credit card required. Most CRMs reserve enrichment for paid tiers. The binding limits here are seats, credits and 3 reports.
  • Reporting scales sharply and may be the real reason to upgrade. 3 reports on Free, 15 on Plus, 100 on Pro. For a team that runs its pipeline reviews off dashboards, fifteen is reached quickly, and that limit is easier to hit than the credit allowances.
  • SSO and SCIM are Enterprise-only, as is the migration service. Any organisation with a security review to pass should assume Enterprise pricing rather than Pro, and Enterprise is quoted rather than published.
  • The startup discount is large and worth asking about. Attio’s FAQ offers “up to 80% off for eligible startups” by application. At 80%, Pro would fall from €74 to about €15 per user per month — a materially different product. It is not self-serve, and eligibility is not defined on the page, but for a qualifying company it is the single biggest lever on this bill.
  • The affiliate link is geo-scoped and inactive from our region. /go/attio returns 200 but resolves to Findstack’s own product page rather than an affiliate destination — the redirect service is country-scoped and no link is configured for our location. Readers elsewhere will reach Attio; readers here land on the listing. The same pattern appears on CoSchedule in this series.

Who Should Use Attio

  • Startups and small revenue teams. The free tier is genuinely usable and the startup discount is steep.
  • Teams that will use the AI features. Pro’s credit allowance is most of what you pay for.
  • Data-quality-focused sales teams. Real-time syncing and enrichment from the free plan up.
  • Companies migrating from spreadsheets. Import paths from Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho, Excel and CSV.

It fits poorly for teams needing SSO or SCIM without an Enterprise budget; for organisations of eleven or more wanting Plus pricing, since the seat cap forces Pro; and for heavy workflow users who have not modelled credit consumption, where the add-on cost can rival the seat cost.

Honest Pros and Cons

Strengths

  • Both 20% annual discounts verify exactly, rounded down.
  • A free plan with real-time sync and enrichment for up to 3 seats.
  • Pro’s 10,000 workspace credits are worth roughly two Pro seats.
  • Up to 80% off for eligible startups.
  • Credit mechanics explained plainly in the FAQ.
  • Broad import paths from Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive and Zoho.

Limitations

  • Three meters — seats, seat credits and workspace credits.
  • Plus caps at 10 seats, forcing a 139% per-user jump to Pro.
  • Extra workspace credits cost €70–85/month per 5,000.
  • Only 3 reports on Free, 15 on Plus.
  • SSO and SCIM are Enterprise-only, and Enterprise is unpriced.
  • The affiliate link is geo-scoped and inactive from some regions.

Attio Alternatives and How It Compares

  • folk is the closest lightweight CRM, reviewed elsewhere in this series.
  • Pipedrive is the established sales-pipeline option at a lower entry price.
  • HubSpot bundles CRM with marketing, also reviewed in this series.
  • Copper targets teams living inside Google Workspace.
  • Salesforce is the enterprise incumbent with far more configuration.

The Verdict

Attio’s pricing is honest in the places this review series usually finds problems, and complicated in a place it usually does not. The honest part first: both annual discounts are exactly what they claim — Plus at 20.5% and Pro at 20.4%, each rounded down — and the FAQ states the policy in one sentence rather than hiding behind an “up to”. After three consecutive products whose “up to” badges covered percentages no customer could obtain, that is a welcome change.

The complication is credits. Attio meters two separate pools: workspace credits shared across everyone for AI features and workflows, and seat credits for personal use of Ask Attio. Neither appears in large type on the plan cards, and both can force spending independently of headcount. Attio sells extra workspace credits at €70 a month per 5,000 on annual billing — which is the number that makes the ladder legible. Pro includes 10,000 workspace credits, worth about €140 a month at Attio’s own rate; Plus includes 1,500, worth €21. The €119 difference is a large part of what the 139% per-user price increase actually buys, alongside call intelligence, sequences, permission controls and a jump from 15 reports to 100.

That reframes the upgrade decision usefully. If your team runs meaningful AI workflows, Pro is better value than the headline suggests, because you would otherwise be buying those credits anyway. If you do not use the AI features, you are paying €74 per user for call intelligence and reporting, and Plus at €31 is the better buy until you hit its 10-seat cap — at which point you have no choice.

Two things to check before committing. SSO and SCIM are Enterprise-only, so any company with a security questionnaire should get a quote rather than assume Pro will pass. And ask about the startup programme: Attio advertises “up to 80% off for eligible startups”, which would take Pro to roughly €15 per user per month. Eligibility is not defined publicly, but for a qualifying company that discount dwarfs every other decision on this page.

FAQ

How much does Attio cost?

In euros as served to our location in August 2026, per user per month. Free is €0 for up to 3 seats. Plus is €31 billed annually or €39 monthly, for up to 10 seats. Pro is €74 annually or €93 monthly. Enterprise is quoted and billed annually. Extra workspace credits cost €70 a month per 5,000 on annual billing, or €85 monthly.

Is Attio’s “Save 20%” annual discount accurate?

Yes, on both plans, with the rounding in the customer’s favour. Plus goes from €39 to €31 — a 20.5% saving. Pro goes from €93 to €74 — 20.4%. Attio’s own FAQ states it plainly: “Our Plus and Pro plans come with a 20% discount with annual billing.”

How do Attio’s credits work?

There are two pools. Workspace credits are shared across everyone in the workspace and cover all AI features including Ask Attio and workflows — 250 a month on Free, 1,500 on Plus, 10,000 on Pro. Seat credits are personal to each user and only apply to Ask Attio — 100, 500, 1,000 and 2,500 per user per month across the four plans. You can buy more workspace credits at €70 a month per 5,000 on annual billing, but seat credits are fixed by plan.

Should I choose Attio Plus or Pro?

It depends on whether you use the AI features, and on team size. Plus caps at 10 seats, so an eleventh person forces Pro regardless. Below that, Pro costs 139% more per user (€74 against €31) and delivers call intelligence, sequences, advanced permissions, 100 reports instead of 15, and 10,000 workspace credits instead of 1,500 — an allowance worth about €140 a month at Attio’s own add-on rate against Plus’s €21. If you run AI workflows at any volume, that credit difference alone justifies much of the gap.

Does Attio have a free plan?

Yes, and a capable one. Up to 3 seats, with real-time contact syncing and automatic data enrichment — the features Attio is best known for — plus 100 seat credits per user and 250 workspace credits a month, up to 3 reports, and no credit card required. The limits that bind first are seats and reports rather than features. Eligible startups can additionally apply for up to 80% off the paid plans.

"Simple, Intuitive, Effortless... Magical!"
What do you like best about Attio?

I've tested a lot of CRMs, and when I came to setting up my own business, it was time to find the best of the best. Attio fit that bill brilliantly. The UI feels instantly familiar and intuitive. Things drag'n'drop into place, edit at a click and adapt to what we need most. Data about accounts and individuals automatically populates, including when I add from LinkedIn via the Chrome extension. I have also integrated it with MailerLite via Zapier, which was simple to setup. I've contacted support and got great service.

What do you dislike about Attio?

I would like there to be more trackable 'interactions' like calls and LinkedIn messages, but I understand that's coming in 2024. Exciting!

What problems is Attio solving and how is that benefiting you?

So much simpler and more intuitive than any other CRM I've used. It helps me develop relationships and win more business.

"Highly flexible and super user-friendly interface!"
What do you like best about Attio?

Attio is an outstanding tool that has exceeded our expectations. It's incredibly easy to configure. The user interface is intuitive, user-friendly, and reminiscent of Notion. The Attio team, especially Alex, provided exceptional support during the onboarding process. It's the go-to CRM solution we highly recommend to businesses of all sizes - especially early stages startups that don't want to lose time with complex CRM. We couldn't be happier with the results!

What do you dislike about Attio?

Attio lacks integrations with our business stack and offers limited customization options to suit our needs. The interface is intuitive, but expanding integrations and enhancing customization would deeply improve its value. We talked to the Attio team about this - it's coming soon :)

What problems is Attio solving and how is that benefiting you?

Attio has been an invaluable asset during our product-market-fit phase. Tracking our sales funnel has become incredibly easy, allowing us to navigate through the process effortlessly. The collaborative features have greatly improved team coordination, and the configuration time was impressively short. Attio is an indispensable tool for our business.

What do you like best about Attio?

What do you dislike about Attio?

Super minor but the pricing model disincentivise usage by the broader team because of the per-seat model.

"Elegant, extensible, and enjoyable"
What do you like best about Attio?

Attio is the only CRM I have found that really meets my overall needs. Every other CRM felt like I was having to fit into a box. The airtable-style approach is awesome for building custom pipelines, and the combo of clearly defined stages and attributes is really powerful. I also love the data enrichment. It makes it easy to ensure the companies and people are connected properly, but the additional data like ARR, number of employees, and more is actually helpful in how I qualify customers and engage with them. The reporting is excellent and I have a single dashboard where I can see critical data, not just in terms of close rate, but also industries, lead sources, geo, and more. Finally, the support is AWESOME. Attio provides a very personal level of service and have answered every question I have ever had. Also, whenever I have submitted feature requests, they circle back with me when those features are implemented. I feel like I am doing business with people...not a faceless company. I am a huge fan...highly recommended.

What do you dislike about Attio?

Nothing spring to mind. I have overall been very impressed with Attio, their product, their service, and their support. I am happy to recommend Attio...I am a happy paid customer.

What problems is Attio solving and how is that benefiting you?

I primarily use it for managing my sales pipeline. Leads can book calls with me and they appear in Attio, and then I use Attio for: * Tracking the progress and stages of the sale. * Using the data enrichment to qualify and understand prospects. * Seeing the full history of events, email, and notes in one place. * Sending emails and engagement to them. * Tracking tasks and reminders. * Tracking overall performance via reports and dashboards.

What do you like best about Attio?

- Completely flexible — Attio doesn't force you into a specific structure, and making changes to the structure is super easy - Great UX — data entry has almost 0 friction, so me and the team actually fill in all the fields and write detailed notes directly in Attio while on calls

What do you dislike about Attio?
