BambooHR is a great user experience from the employer and employee perspective. It is seemlesss and simplistic to use and visually very easy to navigate. There are a ton of customizations for PTO policies and the ability to save and send documents/templates is very handy. Also the hiring component is probably the best I've used in terms of how it's all organized, the ability to collaborate with hiring managers, and saving candidate information.
No complaints. If I had to name anything, maybe having a time keeping feature that integrates with ADP or better reporting around it.
Making hiring easier.
The user interface is extremely clean. It provides a tabular view of choosing Timesheet, Organizational Hierarchy, Employee Information, Leaves and Company Policies. The learning curve is extremely simple and anybody with a hands-on experience with any website can get started with BambooHR without requiring any assistance. BambooHR can also be integrated with existing Microsoft applications like Teams and Outlook and that makes the experience incredibly holistic. I use it daily to fill out my Timesheet and check my leaves etc. It is extremely easy to use and doesn't require any training to get it implemented.
Nothing as such, the UI is pretty robust and clean and it doesn't come up with any shortcomings.

I can't say enough great things about BambooHR. I have used the system for many years and it is the #1 system I recommend to all my HR clients. Their customer support has been amazing, the implementation is super easy, and the features it offers are just what my small to medium sized clients need. It also integrates easily with other systems my clients may be using. I have many clients that currently use it and I am in the system on a daily basis - just so easy and fun to use. Again - just love the system and the company in general.
There really isn't anything I dislike about the system. I feel like it meets the needs of the clients I work with in my HR Consulting business.
When I first start working with a client, I will do an HR audit to see what their current state is. The majority of the time the biggest issue is compliance in the state of California. BambooHR really helps a company get compliant as well as streamline the process for small companies that have a person that wears the HR hat along with many others. It really solves the problem of outdated work processes.

I can stor EE docs simply by ea EE, can send docs for sig electronically, keeps things organized. I track time off, benefits, etc. Very user friendly.

How quickly any issues I have are resolved. The real time responses are great in the live chat.
I wish there was a little easier of a way to write an overview of someone to look back over. I know there are Notes I can leave but it would be nice to have the note pop up next to the persons name when I search them.
Aplicant tracking is much more centralized, which I love. This is no fault of Bamboo's but I do wish I could link all of my external job posts through Bamboo too. For instance, since the visability of the posts Bamboo puts on indeed is lower than the paid posts, I also have a payed indeed account, and it would be really nice to be able to track those applicants through bamboo as well.

The simplicity and ease of use for Administrators and for Employees. The number of features is very nice. The time tracking has been very beneficial for our company. Anytime I have a question, I receive a quick response from Customer Service.
I do not really have anything negative to say.
We started using the time tracking system which elimiated the old paper time cards and has been so much better and easier. Especially for Managers when approving time and HR when submitting time to Corporate.
I have been using BambooHR for the past 3 years and it has been a very good experience so far. The things that I like about BambooHR are: I can easily apply for leave and also see my colleagues who are on leave and what holidays are coming up. I also like the directory option where I can see my whole organization and their professional information. I also like the feature about posting jobs and its job portal features where I can see all the applicants' information and from there itself I can select or reject candidates for the next rounds. I use it on regular basis and also integrated with Slack so that I get notified about any new notifications.
I like all the features it has right now, but I think it can add some default messages for sick leaves or any leaves so that we can use it without having to write it ourselves.
BambooHR is solving multiple problems for the organization like helping maintain everyone's leaves and maintaining everyone's device information. It has been a great help in posting jobs and during the recruitment process.

I like that we are able to customize all of the onboarding and hiring functions. Document signing is really well done. Job posting is also easy to use since it automatically posts and attaches correspondence independently.
I don't really have a downside off the top of my head.

I wish that some of the apps available for integration be free, especially the ones created by Bamboo HR. Also, it'd be nice if the system didn't log you out after some time of inactivity.
Bamboo HR is a turnkey solution to all the HR needs of our company size (medium).
The thing I love most about BambooHR is that it is super user friendly. That coupled with their extensive implementation program and their quick response customer service team make using BanbooHR super easy to navigate so I don't spend all day doing HR things.
The only thing that we can't do with BambooHR is pay one person off of multiple pay schedules, however, I do believe they are working to make this change.
BambooHR makes onboarding super streamlined for us. We can add a new employee and send a welcome packet and they do the rest! Also, they're payroll system is so easy to use, especially if you use their time tracking. Just a few clicks and payroll is done!
I love the ease of use for all functions of the HRIS. The implementation was super easy as well. Every time I have needed to utilize the customer support they have been very helpful.
The only thing that could make BambooHR better would be more integrations with benefits administration. I know this is new and coming, so I am just being patient.

We have a very small company and switching over to a digital time clocking system was a big deal for us. Bamboo made it easy. They're app was great even our most anti-technology employees. The interface and design is very easy to understand. It has made our jobs in the office much easier and efficient. Switching everything over to the digital world was also easier with Bamboo. Our sales rep and customer support team have always been very helpful.
I wish that it was more compatitable with quick book pay system, but other wise its been a breeze.
We didn't have an accurate time keeping system. Bamboo is providing all of the time keeping that we need.
BambooHR is great for managing employee records, keeping track of leaves, and storing employment documents. It has reduced the time admin spends on data entry and answering employee requests for vacation. The user experience is great, employees can login and view all their information in one place, request leave, and access their employment documents. The reports feature has been very useful as well. It has cut down dramatically on the amount of time it used to take to pull together reports manually. Implementation was also easy. Our implementation manager was very helpful and responsive and made the process very smooth. I use BambooHR every day and would definitely recommend it for companies looking to cut down on manual HR processes.
One of the things which is currently missing from Bamboo is a retention rate metric. It's possible to see turnover rate, but not retention rate. While Bamboo supports multiple currencies, it does not have a feature which can convert salaries to a home currency automatically. This would be a great addition in the future!
It helps store all HR information in a central place so that it is very easy to find when needed. BambooHR has also made it easy to run reports quickly, rather than having to manually pull them together from spreadsheets. It has cut down on a lot of admin time spent manually entering and tracking vacations. This enables us to focus on larger HR tasks.
incredibly easy to understand and adapt to. Customer survice is fast and effiecient. We use it every day and could not be happier with how many features are available. Onboarding new employees is simple and we can update any new benefits within a few minutes
