Bookyourdata Expert Review

Bookyourdata publishes 24 pricing tiers, and four of them in the middle are each exactly $100 apart while the price per contact halves across them. The 3,500-credit pack costs $699 at $0.20 a contact. Three rows further down, the 10,000-credit pack costs $999 at $0.10. That is $300 more for 6,500 additional contacts — 2.9 times the data at half the unit price — and because credits never expire, buying the larger pack carries none of the usual use-it-or-lose-it risk. Most of this rate card is genuinely well built. The thing to get right is where on the ladder you land, because a buyer who stops at the tier that matches their immediate need will often pay double.

  • What it is: Pay-as-you-go B2B contact data — emails, direct dials and 100+ attributes per record.
  • Best for: Teams who want a list without a 12-month data subscription.
  • Pricing: $99 for 250 credits down to $0.01 a contact at scale; 10 free to start. Verified August 2026.
  • The honest catch: The 97% guarantee refunds credits, not money.

What Is Bookyourdata?

Bookyourdata sells B2B prospecting data on a pay-as-you-go basis with no subscription. You buy a pack of credits, one credit reveals one full contact, and the credits sit in your account until you use them.

The claimed scale is 500M+ profiles, 250M+ B2B contacts, 150M+ work emails, 50M+ personal emails, 50M+ mobile direct dials and 30M+ companies across 200+ countries, with 60,000+ technologies tracked and 250,000 job titles categorised. Each record can carry 100+ attributes — name, title, department, LinkedIn URL, direct and mobile numbers, company revenue, headcount, SIC and NAICS codes, funding rounds, technographics and job-posting data.

Two things stand out about how it is sold. Team seats are unlimited and included, rather than charged per user, and API access is included rather than reserved for a higher plan. Both are common upsells elsewhere.

The Findstack listing carries 218 user reviews. Bookyourdata also displays 4.9/5 from 349 reviews on G2 along with a run of category badges. That is a substantial independent base by the standards of this series.

How Bookyourdata Works

One credit = one full contact, downloadable to Excel or pushed to a CRM. A useful detail buried in the FAQ: revealing both the email address and the mobile direct dial for the same person consumes one credit, not two.

Alongside the database sits BeSpoke, a hand-built list service for audiences that no filter can produce. It starts at $499 for 1,000 records, delivered in up to three business days, with a free 10-row sample first — typically within 30 hours — and nothing to pay until the sample proves the fit. Every row carries a public source link, and the list is not resold. The published example is 2,512 Patek Philippe collector records built for a luxury auction house.

At $0.499 a record, BeSpoke costs roughly 67% more than the equivalent database credits, which is what you would expect for hand research, and the site says as much rather than blurring the two.

Bookyourdata Pricing

Bookyourdata’s tiered pricing table showing 3,500 credits at $699, 5,000 at $799, 7,500 at $899 and 10,000 at $999

The ladder runs from a free 10-credit pack to 2.5 million credits, in 24 published steps:

Credits Total Per contact
10 Free —
250 $99 $0.40
500 $159 $0.32
1,000 $299 $0.30
2,500 $599 $0.24
3,500 $699 $0.20
10,000 $999 $0.10
25,000 $2,099 $0.08
100,000 $5,499 $0.05
250,000 $8,699 $0.03
1,000,000 $15,999 $0.016
2,500,000 $24,999 $0.010

Publishing the whole ladder rather than a “contact sales” wall is unusual in this category and worth crediting outright.

The $100 band in the middle

Bar chart showing Bookyourdata cost per contact falling from $0.20 at 3,500 credits to $0.10 at 10,000 credits, each tier $100 apart

Look closely at four consecutive rows:

Credits Total Per contact Step up
3,500 $699 $0.20 —
5,000 $799 $0.16 +$100 for 1,500 more
7,500 $899 $0.12 +$100 for 2,500 more
10,000 $999 $0.10 +$100 for 2,500 more

Each step costs exactly $100 and the unit price halves across the band. Marginal credits in this stretch work out at about four cents each — the cheapest incremental data anywhere below the 100,000 mark.

The practical consequence: someone who needs 3,500 contacts and buys the matching pack pays $0.20 each. For $300 more they would have 10,000 contacts at $0.10 each, and since credits never expire, the surplus is banked rather than wasted. If your requirement lands anywhere between 2,500 and 10,000, price the 10,000 pack before deciding.

The curve is not uniformly generous, though. Past 10,000 the marginal rate gets worse before improving again: the 5,000 credits between 10,000 and 15,000 cost six cents each, and the 10,000 between 15,000 and 25,000 cost eight cents each — twice the marginal rate of the band below. So the ladder has a genuine sweet spot rather than a smooth decline, and 10,000 credits at $999 is where it sits.

Read the totals, not the per-contact column

The per-contact figures are rounded to two decimals, and at high volume that rounding drifts. The 250,000 tier is listed at $0.03 per contact; $8,699 ÷ 250,000 is actually $0.0348 — 16% higher. The 150,000 tier lists $0.04 against a real $0.0446, and the 100,000 tier lists $0.05 against $0.0550.

This is a display artefact rather than a pricing trick, and it is defused by the fact that every row shows the total you actually pay. Still, if you are building a cost model, divide the total yourself rather than trusting the rounded column — and note that the rounding runs the other way at 15,000 credits, where the listed $0.09 is really $0.0866.

The guarantees, and what they actually pay

Three guarantees are published, and the differences between them matter.

97% deliverability. The FAQ is specific: “When a record turns out to be wrong or outdated, Bookyourdata refunds the credits spent on that contact.” So the remedy is credits back, not money back — you are made whole in data, not in cash. That is reasonable for a data business and better than the “no refunds” norm the site attributes to competitors, but it does mean a bad list leaves you holding store credit rather than a refund.

Best price guarantee. If you find a better rate from a US-based provider with 95%+ deliverability, send the proposal or a screenshot and they will beat it. The qualifiers are real ones — US-based, 95% threshold — so it is not open-ended, but it is specific enough to act on.

Credits never expire, and are not locked or removed if you stop buying, since there is no subscription to lapse. In a category where unused credits routinely vanish at renewal, this is the single most valuable term on the page.

What actually decides your cost

  • Which tier you land on, which is the dominant factor — $0.40 to $0.01 across the ladder.
  • Whether you round up to 10,000 credits, the ladder’s best-value point below six figures.
  • Whether you need email or mobile or both, since both together still cost one credit.
  • Whether the audience exists in the database at all, which decides credits versus BeSpoke at $499 per 1,000.
  • Not team size — seats are unlimited and included.
  • Not API access — included rather than an upsell.

Who Should Use Bookyourdata

Bookyourdata fits a team that needs a list now and does not want a data subscription. The whole proposition is avoiding the 12-month contract that dominates this category, and the terms back it up: no commitment, no seat fees, credits that survive indefinitely. For an agency running campaigns in bursts, or a startup that needs 10,000 contacts once rather than 1,000 a month forever, that structure is worth real money.

The free 10-credit pack with no card is the right first step. It is small — enough to confirm the export format, the attribute coverage and whether your ideal customer profile is findable at all, not enough to measure deliverability at scale.

It fits badly for teams who need continuously refreshed data rather than point-in-time lists; a subscription product that re-verifies contacts monthly serves that better. It also fits badly if you require cash refunds when data is wrong, since the guarantee settles in credits.

And be careful with the comparison table on the pricing page. Its “Competitors’ Limitations” column asserts things like a 50–60% industry accuracy average and describes rival contracts as “notoriously difficult to cancel” — all of it vendor-authored, none of it sourced, and no competitor named. Take the Bookyourdata column as fact and the other column as marketing.

Honest Pros and Cons

What works well:

  • Credits never expire and are never locked, because there is no subscription.
  • 24 pricing tiers published openly, with totals as well as unit rates.
  • 10 free credits, no card, with access to all enterprise features.
  • The 3,500-to-10,000 band — four tiers $100 apart where the unit price halves.
  • Unlimited team seats included, rather than charged per user.
  • API access and data enrichment included, not gated to a higher plan.
  • Email plus mobile for one person costs a single credit.
  • 97% deliverability guarantee with credits refunded on bad records.
  • A best-price guarantee with stated, checkable qualifying conditions.
  • BeSpoke’s free 10-row sample first, with nothing payable until it proves out.
  • 218 Findstack reviews and 4.9/5 from 349 on G2 — a real independent base.
  • The site states plainly that not every record carries every attribute, which is more honest than the 100+ headline implies on its own.

What to watch:

  • The guarantee refunds credits, not money.
  • The per-contact column is rounded, understating the true rate by up to 16% at 250,000 credits.
  • The marginal rate worsens between 10,000 and 25,000 credits, to six and then eight cents.
  • The competitor comparison table is unsourced and names nobody.
  • “1/4 the cost of other providers” is an unverifiable comparative claim.
  • The free pack is only 10 credits — enough to check format, not accuracy.
  • BeSpoke costs about 67% more per record than database credits.
  • Best-price matching requires a US-based provider at 95%+ deliverability.

Bookyourdata Alternatives and How It Compares

  • Apollo.io is the usual all-in-one comparison, bundling data with sequencing and a CRM — better if you want the workflow, worse if you only want the list.
  • ZoomInfo is the enterprise incumbent, with deeper firmographics and intent data, sold on annual contracts at a very different price point.
  • Cognism is the strongest European alternative, with phone-verified mobile numbers and GDPR notification built in.
  • RocketReach and Hunter are the lighter, cheaper options if you mainly need email lookup rather than a filtered list.
  • Seamless.ai competes directly on real-time verification claims and is worth pricing alongside.

The honest comparison: nearly all of these sell subscriptions, which is exactly the axis Bookyourdata competes on. Work out your annual contact volume first. If you genuinely need a steady monthly flow, a subscription may still cost less per record; if your need is lumpy — a campaign, a launch, an ABM push — non-expiring credits with no contract is a materially better shape, and that is worth more than a few cents per contact.

The Verdict

Bookyourdata’s pricing is among the more honest rate cards in this series. Twenty-four tiers published in full, totals shown alongside unit rates, credits that never expire, no subscription, no seat fees, and API access included. In a category built on annual contracts and vanishing credits, those terms are the product as much as the data is.

The one thing you must do yourself is read the ladder properly. Four tiers in the middle sit exactly $100 apart while the price per contact falls from $0.20 to $0.10 — so $300 more than the 3,500-credit pack delivers 6,500 extra contacts at half the unit rate, with no expiry to race. Buy the pack that matches this month’s campaign and you can easily pay twice what the pack one shelf up would have cost you.

Two caveats to carry in. The 97% deliverability guarantee settles in credits rather than cash, so bad data leaves you with more data rather than your money. And the comparison table’s claims about “competitors” are unsourced and name nobody — read that column as advertising.

Start with the 10 free credits. They cost nothing, need no card, and unlock the full feature set, which is enough to answer the only question that matters first: whether the people you are trying to reach are actually in the database. If they are not, BeSpoke’s free 10-row sample answers the second question at equally no cost — and both are better evidence than any figure on the pricing page.

FAQ

How much does Bookyourdata cost?

It is pay-as-you-go, priced per credit, where one credit reveals one full contact. The published ladder runs from 10 credits free, through 250 for $99 ($0.40 each), 1,000 for $299 ($0.30), 3,500 for $699 ($0.20), 10,000 for $999 ($0.10), 100,000 for $5,499 ($0.05) and on to 2.5 million for $24,999 ($0.01). There is no subscription, no contract and no per-seat charge, and credits never expire.

What is the best-value Bookyourdata pack?

Below six figures, the 10,000-credit pack at $999 is the ladder’s sweet spot. The tiers at 3,500 ($699), 5,000 ($799), 7,500 ($899) and 10,000 ($999) are each exactly $100 apart while the unit price halves from $0.20 to $0.10 — so $300 above the 3,500 pack buys 6,500 more contacts. Past 10,000 the marginal rate briefly worsens, to six cents between 10,000 and 15,000 and eight cents between 15,000 and 25,000. Since credits never expire, buying up is not a use-it-or-lose-it gamble.

Do Bookyourdata credits expire?

No. Credits remain in your account indefinitely and are not locked or removed if you stop buying, because there is no subscription to lapse. This is the platform’s most substantive advantage over subscription-based data providers, where unused credits commonly reset each month or disappear at renewal. It is also what makes buying a larger pack sensible — surplus credits are banked, not forfeited.

How does the 97% deliverability guarantee work?

Bookyourdata guarantees 97% deliverability, and where a record proves wrong or outdated it refunds the credits spent on that contact. Note the form of the remedy: you are reimbursed in credits, not in cash, so a poor list leaves you with more data to spend rather than money back. Separately, there is a best-price guarantee — produce a proposal or screenshot from a US-based provider offering 95%+ deliverability at a better rate and they undertake to beat it.

What is BeSpoke and when should I use it?

BeSpoke is Bookyourdata’s hand-built list service for audiences that no database filter can produce. It starts at $499 for 1,000 records, delivered in up to three business days at 97% deliverability, with a public source link on every row and no resale to anyone else. You get a free 10-row sample first, typically inside 30 hours, and pay nothing until it proves the fit. At about $0.50 a record it costs roughly 67% more than database credits, so use it only when the people you need are genuinely not in the 500M+ profiles already available.
