Seamless.AI Pros and Cons

- Broad feature set including contact & company search, buyer intent, job changes and outreach hub
- Flexible usage via Chrome extension, integrations and API
- Free plan available for trial
- Pricing above Basic is opaque; Pro/Enterprise require sales contact and negotiation

- Credit consumption can be high and 'unlimited' claims often have hidden limits
- Some users report difficult cancellation/renewal experiences and lack of pricing transparency

Seamless makes it very simple to locate potential contacts and their contact information
They send an abundance of spam emails that you need to unsubscribe from. Additionally, they paid for these reviews via Gift Cards but underpaid what they originally stated. Dishonesty is not something I can support.
Very few problems. Benefits include ease of use, quick results, and above all reliable results
Automation and integration. I like that it can fill up columns fast.
A lot of bugs in integration. Cannot narrow down location search
Finding contacts and phone numbers.
Easy of use / integration with LinkedIn. Fast dowload of information.
Inconsistent results. Sometimes very incorrect results. Occasional technical issues ("retry" showing up too much).
Quickly getting phone numbers and email addresses.
I like the integration into Hubspot the best,
It is not accurate and has only a fraction of the relevant contacts I search for.
Inaccurate contacts, wrong emails, not sync'd data. Of the minimal contacts that I have found, only a handful are up to date.
Seamless has a great list of available names. it's fast, easy to use, and its search function works well.
The contact information is guessed by their AI, sometimes it's very accurate, and other times it's not.
I've found literally hundreds of prospects and potential candidates.
I like that it does have plugins and integrations that make it easy to pull contacts from websites.
A bunch: 1. Email Data. Since purchasing, we've seen around 20% of emails bounce back because they weren't correct. 2. Technology. We specifically purchased Seamless to find companies with certain technology, but half the time that information is out of date compared to Wappalyzer 3. Upsells. Seamless.ai literally charges you for auto clicking a button. It's the most insane thing ever and then we get constant upsells for additional features. I'm not sure once anyone has contacted me to ask how I like the product.
It is helping me find buyers, but the most critical issue is that the data is inaccurate or incorrect.
It's great at providing targeted contact information
The information pulled is not always accurate or current. For example, we've pulled contact information for people who it turns out don't work at that company anymore and haven't for some time - even though we filtered that way.
We need new leads and contacts
The account manager was very helpful while deciding which platform to go with. He was patient and hopped on a few calls to answer my questions. The tool allows for 1,000 contact downloads a day, which is more than most other platforms.
They claim to have the most data, but they are missing A LOT of data (for example, out of 600,000 restaurants in the USA, they had less than 2% on Seamless). Also, they claim data comes from Linkedin, but it's definitely not as it doesn't list all employees of a company - companies we work with have over 500 employees, and Seamless often only shows 2 or 3! There are also a lot of unresolved bugs that the company and team (client success, AM, support) don't care about fixing. For example, even if you select a specific department to find contacts of a company, it will list a bunch of other unrelated roles from other departments. Also, you can't download a list at once, you have to do it page by page (and pages only contain 15 results!) So even if you're allowed to download 1,000 contacts a day, it takes forever!
We use Seamless to find key decision makers and their contact information. Since the process has shown a lot more difficult and tidious than expected, we unfortunately do not see benefits as it is now.
The Customer Success team, works very hard to try and fix problems as quickly as possible (Dillon Griffiths is amazing)
The leads do not get me to the people I'm prospecting
Makes prospecting the names of people in our ICP a faster process
It's a plugin to find employee and leadership info on a website. Also, the Sales Navigator plugin allows you to scrape and transfer leads over to Seamless lists.
The data scraper will routinely bring up bogus or previous emails. Sometimes, it would even fabricate emails based on the pattern companies used as a naming convention for emails. You would build up a massive list just to get a 20%-30% bounce rate.
Initially, it helped us with cold outreach. Email and cold calling. It allowed us to be productive while we worked up our organic and paid strategies, as well as our partnerships and referrals.
1. 1,000 searches/downloads a day 2. The phone numbers seem to be accurate, when they are there - which is different than ZI.
1. The interface is cumbersome. 2. Would like a way to store all downloads in corporate account to avoid duplicates. 3. Can only see 10 companies at a time. 4. Very tedious to add data. 5. The email addresses are not great! So many bounce and they really boast how thorough their review process is in checking data. 6. Support hasn't been great. They've gone silent since we we live, which is quite the turn. The sales process had an Account Manager/Executive reaching out daily.
We wanted a source of data that wasn't close to $30k, which is what we were paying ZI and Seamless fit the bill. It hasn't increased productivity because the tool is cumbersome to use.
The software performs as expected and delivers ease of use and good information
They will do everything they can to not cancel a subscription and will keep charging after cancelation. Really tough to end the service. Shame to have a good product but lack integrity when it is time to part ways.
Finding contacts at target customers
cost is cheap so if you are on a budget, this can be a valid solution for list building. I do like how it has a browser extension and works within linkedin.
Quality of emails is terrible, constantly having to use Lusha to supplement email finding. It is super slow to load most of the time. Phone numbers are correct maybe 2 percent of the time. Segmentation of industry and sub industries are challenging. For example, I have a tough time finding lighting manufacturers without pulling in a ton of energy companies. Also cannot pull interior designers vs. graphic designers or branding agencies. For some reason, I get a lot of toy companies in my lists when my main target are architecture and design industry companies. Email quality is poor - Kickbox usually verifies only 15% of the emails taken from seamless. With Seamless and needing to use supplemental software, building a list of 600 people takes me about 6 hours....
list building - i am able to build b2b lists but the time it takes to accomplish the task is bogging me down.
The app is intuitive and allows you to find leads from websites.
Many clicks are required to access and edit each section of the data, it is usually slow, gets stuck, and sometimes does not validate emails correctly.
It helps to obtain leads' phone numbers and emails
I like that I can find leads and seamless allows me to connect with my desired clients.
Seamless is very glitchy. The customer service team is slow to reply.
I'm solving burnout and stress at work
Ability to find a specific person's email address
It is not super easy to build lists that are conducive to business practices
Getting contact info if I know who I am targeting is easier
The cost. I think we're paying about $6K for an annual subscription. Probably 1/3 of what ZoomInfo would cost.
1. Limited searchability. There are only a few fields you can use to search, and some of these have a limited number of options. (For title searches for example, you can only do a total of 7-8 positive and negative keywords.) 2. Wonky overall. It consistently returns contacts that don't meet the criteria I'm searching for. 3. Manual effort - a lot of work to select all of the contacts that you want to save, download, etc. They have a HubSpot integration, but you have to click the HubSpot icon on EACH contact. So if you want 100 contacts, that's 100 clicks (plus additional clicks to get to advance the pages.)
We essentially built our contact database from scratch. So Seamless was a good, affordable way to find a lot of relevant prospects.
The price is low, email data quality is ok, has some mobiles but mostly office lines
Customer support is really, truly awful. Something as simple as adding a few licenses to our account was extemely tedious. When bugs come up in the product, the agents are incompetent and can't help. Handoff between support tickets is terrible and you have to explain what went wrong multiple times
Email and phone data
Contact info is generally quite accurate and integration with Salesforce works as it should.
Process to pull in contacts has come along way, but still leaves some ease of use to be desired especially compared to some of their competitors.
Pulling in contacts from Linkedin into Salesforce CRM and Outreach
I really to like their plug in and integrations into LinkedIn
The "direct dial" info is only about 5% accurate realistically - emails bounce, job and company data is never accurate at all either it seems.
Needed better source of direct dial than ZoomInfo for less money and better than LinkedIn or Google and that was what made me look into this.
The UI is pretty good. And easy to use. Also, the integration with our CRM is helpful
The data has not been accurate enough for what we need
We use it to find contacts to reach out to
the tool itself is affordable for SMBs, and the data itself we can say is 60-70% accurate (from a bounce rate perspective).
Their customer support/service is one of the worst I've encountered. isn't worthing the cheaper pricing you pay vs. the industry-standard solutions, as it costs you with the time you need to invest in fixing settings problem, or with understanding why and to solve the below: - users are losing access to the platform - billing issues - changes with CSM without any notice - no replying to emails the thing is, we extended our contract after the first year (although all the things I wrote above happened), but now, after the second year of the contract has gone, we won't continue with seamless.ai as the history repeat itself and even a worse shape than last year
Find prospects details like emails and phones
I'm able to find leads and contact information for people who I want to sell.
The seamless navigator is horrible. If you don't have linkedin sales nav then seamless is basically useless. Also, Many leads simply won't import and have no explanation. Then, many leads, sometimes 20-30% of an import will have wrong names and contact info.
I'm trying to find leads to sell to. Seamless helps me find these leads. The service has added a lot to our pipeline but not a lot to our qualified pipeline.
The LinkedIn integration. It's a nice tool.
The lack of insight on contacts and companies. The fact that there's a 1-year agreement with no way out, too expensive for what I'm getting. The numbers aren't accurate.
Nothing.
Their customer service team is very responsive if a question arises. They provided adequate follow-up, and they do care about listening to any issues.
The contact information isn't great. There is a high bounce rate for emails. Many phone numbers are just the primary number you could find on the company's insight. When you search for companies in a particular industry, you don't get many results. The AE that worked with me didn't provide a great experience, and they didn't ask too many provoking questions as to why I was interested in using the platform. I had a couple of questions after I purchased, to which the AE said they would talk to their engineering team and get back to me. The AE never responded. Not even worth spending the $150 a month for the subscription.
None as of this moment.
Their toolbar works on any site (company website, LI, etc). It can be a quick way to quickly scrape a list of names and import it into your CRM.
Phone numbers are rarely accurate, with most of the time it just providing the main company line. More than anything, it was just mucking up our CRM with bad contacts.
Prospecting.
SFDC import as well as building lists within linkedin
The accuracy of mobile number data is low
E-mail accuracy helps
It served its purpose of searching for contacts number, email and relevant information.
The sales and support team was not supportive during the COVID era and consistently threw legal jargon to reinforce their point. Was not willing to be flexible and offer alternatives. The data that was provided could not be altered in a way with HubSpot that properly allows automation and quality check before loaded into HubSpot. There was no forum for product enhancements. We did not receive an onboarding - nor did we have anyone introduce themselves as support post-sale. Kinda left on our own. They had an odd clause that if you failed to notice before 60 days of desire to cancel, they would automatically re-enroll you onto another annual contract.
We needed leads and prospects to engage with accuracy. Seamless filled the void compared to the competitor ZoomInfo who we were comparing with. Massive price difference but clear indicators of added features and support. We got our leads with 80% accuracy which was good to know
I like how it scrapes multiple sources to find contacts/info quickly.
My searches often hang up. I have to refresh, try again, but no luck. Trying to get someone to respond is cumbersome. You get an initial auto email, then no follow up. Can't get someone on the phone.
Trying to find contacts and information quickly and sometimes you will get what you need, but it's not consistent. User interface is cumbersome.
Accurate information, Can get more credits by referring team members or coworkers and even by completing the tutorials!
I wish you could search by address. I prospect based off of corporate address, location is key for me. I also would like to narrow down my Contact search with more filters. There are more on the Company search, but you cannot filter by State.
When I cannot find the phone or email to the person I need, I use Seamless to find it. The phone number is usually a general company line, but not always! The email is typically accurate, more accurate than other .AI companies I also use.
