They integrated with LinkedIn and my CRM
Outdated technology that does not update contact information well. They lock you in an annual contract, and haven't been responsive for compassionate on the financial impact of COVID
Prospecting research, but their email database has a 30% bounce rate and phone numbers have not updated mobile based on ineffective office numbers unanswered due to COVID
The concept has merit. Probably best for cold calling as e-mailing platforms don't allow unsolicited campaigns.
Not really e-mail campaign friendly. Brandon Bornancin, Shame on you and your salespeople for misrepresenting the complete 'monthly' payment status by omission! Sales staff makes it sound like cancelation can be made in monthly subscription status in lieu of the yearly status. NOT True! We may elect to pay monthly but there is no way out of a 12 mo subscription. Not being completely upfront about this process is just bad business.
After moving jobs due to covid downturn I thought I would be gaining value in list strategy. Instead, all I got was a subscription Albatros that can't be canceled.
Tool helps scrape email addresses from LinkedIn and Sales Nav, but most of the data is inaccurate and you'll need a 3rd party tool to find better and verified email addresses like Hunter.io
Unethical, non-transparent 12-month hidden contract. They are not clear it's month-to-month like it is on all their competitor's tools. Better to use a tool like Wiza.co than this tool.
It allows you to build a list of profiles from LI sales nav
There is nothing that I like about this company and product.
I've been trying for months to get my contact details removed from their platform. They erroneously associated my cell phone with another contact, so I end up getting sales calls all week long looking for someone else on my personal cell phone. Still no resolution after multiple emails to support and their CEO. The fact that my phone is associated to another contact speaks to the inaccuracy of their platform. The fact that it still hasn't been removed after months of asking speaks to poor business practices.
I'm not able to solve any problem with Seamless.ai.
Absolutely nothing. Worst company ever!!
They call about once a month to try and sell me on their services using different numbers each time so I can't block them. They also don't use Caller ID so I can't block them. I ask to be put on their Do Not Call list and sure enough a month later they call again.
Nothing. I don't think Seamless.ai can solve any problems if they can't solve their own regulatory issues.
It is a decent product, but they bury shady language about cancellation in their TOS.
They will not let you cancel and automatically subscribe you to an annual payment plan with no way to get out of it other than to transfer the license. It is fraudulent and a terrible way to do business. Terrible company with terrible ethics.
None. Waste of time and sketchy business practices.
the software works as a software is supposed to but it just scrapes linkedin, itself is not that powerful in its search capabilities. There are other pieces of software that do the same exact thing without the ethical concerns outlined in their contract.
The absolute worst is the contract that is mandatory 12 months after their sales people tell you its month to month. You think you can cancel after 3 months, and they trap you. Then you go along with their ploy to month 11 and ask to cancel as your year is up, AND THEY SAY YOU NEED A 60 DAY NOTICE TO CANCEL. So now they attempt to lock you in for another year.
In the beginning, of course you'll be excited to use the software to scrape prospects info, load into email lists, or retarget on facebook/linkedin. However, their customer service is so poor, you don't want to solve any problems with their service and their contracts make it impossible to cancel your subscription.
- Very well-priced compared to the competition - Comprehensive database - Acceptable user interface - Relatively speedy support
- There are daily limits that we hit quite frequently even though we use no automation tools - Database size is not as good as Zoominfo (but Zoominfo is stupidly expensive) - No ability to filter by company size
Finding email addresses for leads generated through alternate methods. It has worked well for this problem.
The only upside is the LinkedIn connectivity and ease of use.
I'm not sure where to start. the results are less than poor, 50% accuracy at best. a lot of bad or missing data. I'd get better customer service from a 5-year-old. my credit card was charged without authorization or notice. when I tried to escalate the situation, upper management was removed from the loop. The response time is slow. I feel as if this is a forgotten product and the CEO only cares about his book ales as a byproduct f this tool.
we have not gained any revenue, leads, or opportunity directly from this tool. any benefits would be minor and overshadowed by the inaccuracies.
Great sales pitch...absolutely zero follow up
customer services is horrible and technical support is non-existent. Complete rip off.
None...over charged and under delivered.
The idea that it would work and generate leads for my clients
The fact that it did not work and that I've been forced to autorenew
Very Worst Customer Experience of All Time The fact that their cancelation process is (a) impossible to find (b) requires you to autorenew (c) requires 60 days advance WRITTEN notice for cancelation (d) has THREE forms to complete once written notice is received (e) requires a SECOND communication with the support team prior to cancelation is anti-business, anti-entrepreneur, and the lowest integrity customer experience I've ever had in my entire life. I'm a female solopreneur with my first baby on the way in 20 days. I don't need to be autocharged $1000 -- AGAIN, ANOTHER YEAR -- for a product that doesn't work -- ever. And the fact they've refused to refund me is an absolute slap in the face. There is no way to cancel your subscription on their dashboard, WHICH IS ILLEGAL IN MANY STATES
The technology works fairly well. I was able to use it for a few months to build up my contact pipeline
Very predatory sales tactics. We were told it was $97/month so we decided to give it a try. Our sales rep told us that the online system was down so he asked if he could take the payment over the phone. I reluctantly agreed. At no point did he mention that it was a year-long contract that we were getting locked into, and that it would auto-renew. We stopped using it 3 months in and requested to cancel and they told us we had were locked into a 12-month term. Really frustrating but no way to get out of it Additionally, there is no way to cancel your subscription on their dashboard, WHICH IS ILLEGAL FOR AN ONLINE SUBSCRIPTION IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. Better to just stay away from this company. Cool technology but very predatory business practices.
We were trying to get contact information for people that we found on LinkedIn. Seamless was probably 50-60% accurate
Emails seem to be valid most of the time.
Phone numbers are almost never accurate. Often gets contacts wrong information if their LI says they work at two different companies. CRM integration becomes disconnected at least once per week. Annoying notifications in the tool. Tool will go down and you will be forced to manually download and upload a .csv.
Getting people's contact info. I have occasionally benefitted from a phone number and is mostly accurate for emails.
It’s cheap. The data is good for pulling down LinkedIn lists. But data quality is iffy.
After many emails asking for a call to understand if their product could support my sales team as it had for our marketing team and them directing me to a website, they told me they couldn’t support me over the phone because we didn’t have enough users. Well...i needed support so I could expand the tool to our 30 total users. We will pay the freight and stick with zoominfo for our 30 users. More expensive but better data and way better support.
Phone numbers and emails
Ryan showed me so many awesome, time-saving tips on our initial call. Things went south after that initial call.
I don't know how this fits into my work day Billing is a mess Customer support does not support, they merely copy/paste frustratingly unhelpful responses over and over again
No problems solved. Seamless created problems
I DID like that it integrates with Linkedin.
The interface is super buggy. One of the highlighted features is that it integrates with LinkedIn Sales Navigator. I have used the product for about 2 weeks and the Chrome plug-in has bugged out 4 times. Support can only be reached by e-mail and is very slow. It is a pretty good price point but if you want something anything close to reliable I would spend more money for something else. The founder should spend more time fixing the product and less time talking about how much money he makes.
Looking for user information.
The ability to try to get some contact information a little faster than I could just using Google.
I don't like the fact that you can't avoid creating vast duplicate lists when importing large lists from Sales Navigator. If you do multiple searches and then import, each search usually will have some duplicate contacts in Sales Navigator. When you go to import, all of them are added, which means you end up with duplicates. You then go to Seamless.ai and see the same person listed 3 or more times. So you think you have a large list, but really it is a fraction of the actual size. I also don't like their customer service when it comes to overall satisfaction and billing. Because they make the annual contract so compelling, I made the mistake of buying it and then quickly realized it wasn't a good fit for me. When I went to try to plead to them to let me out of it, they refused, and have been collecting money every month from me for software that doesn't work for my purposes and that I can't use. I am sure some people like this, but it isn't for me and now I have to pay, and pay, and pay. Update as of 12/12/19: After getting them a customer to replace me (I essentially had to act as a salesperson to recruit someone for them), they not only landed them a good customer but a great one who signed an annual agreement. They went back on their word to let me out of my contract and are holding me hostage. To be clear, they made me the offer to help me out, I went out of my way, and then they went back on their word, claiming a bureaucratic technicality.
I wanted it to try to build lists for retargeting, but it isn't made for that. It doesn't save me time and it definitely cost me a lot of money.
Conceptually it is okay - but there are many scrapers for linkedin, and this one doesn't even have daily limitation so you don't go over your page view limit.
Well for starters, it appears they are scraping data from linkedin. Okay fine, but the file exports are disastrous. Even for "clean" downloads, many of the fields were in the wrong place and don't even get me started on the bounces. They have a column for Middle name, so there were a mixture of last names and first names in the wrong column, so even cleaning the data with a few Excel operations was impossible. Emails are reverse appended with "best guess" technology. Better run your list through a bounce check software, which I did, and found that nearly half of them were hard bounces. That leads me to the database sorting and functionality. It's maybe the most archaic piece of software when it comes to that, only able to sort and move a few rows of data at a time. This makes managing lists and data quite a terrible experience.
Not any, there are much better tools on the marketplace for building lead lists.
Lead generation works okay and I'm able to find the people that I need to.
Customer service is quite horrible. They refuse to remove my payment method on file.
