Can easily filter applicants and share between hiring teams. Also schedule interviews and keep track of applications in the recruitment process.
The downsides are that you cannot reschedule interviews within the site if the candidate scheduled the interview. Also the work history does not ask for dates of employment.
Recruiting across multiple platforms and keeping applicant tracking in an organized manner.
I like the "kanban" feel of the candidates moving through phases in the hiring process. I like the integration with tools like hacker rank. I like the usability of team scorecards, comments section (with markdown), CV embed, etc.
Some pet peeves are: - still a bit hard to use markdown in comments for some advanced cases - integration with hackerrank doesn't update the score after manual evaluation of test - a bit cumbersome to find people whose name isn't in english (in Spanish we want to search "á" and "a" as the same letter, but Breezy differentiates)
The colaboration between the HR team and the IT team is seamless for scheduling interviews and grading potential candidates throughout the different stages of interviews and tests.
The ability to create candidate pools and add tags is beyond ideal. I've been looking for software that can do this and was starting to lose hope until I found BreezyHR!
The only thing I would say I "dislike" about BreezyHR is the cost. I currently only use BreezyHR as a candidate database, meaning I don't post ads or actively source through this platform. I wish there were an option to access all the database features at a lower cost.
Prior to BreezyHr I was maintaining my candidate database through an excel spreadsheet. With 38 locations I recruit for, I am sure you can understand what a mess that was. Creating pools, tagging candidates by critical criteria, and finding candidate information is a BREEZE.
Integration with various job boards too & link with Linkedin.
Not that I found any, but there is always room for improvement.
Candidate management, candidate data and teams
I think one of the most helpful things in Breezy HR is the fact that I can easily create new pools to keep my candidates organized. I like that the stages are easy to use and manage, you can just drag candidates from one stage to the other without much hassle. It is also very efficient at gathering information from candidates once you upload the resume. It populates everything quickly.
The only thing I dislike is the fact that there is no easy way to merge contacts or duplicates. Salesforce used to have an option to instantly merge accounts.
We're able to keep our applicants easily organized, post, CVs, and everything pertaining to each application. It makes our team more productive since it's a single system to access and see what anyone else has worked on. You don't need to ask each person individually what their interaction was or how the interview went, you can just see the notes.
I love the ease of use from setting up users, to creating job postings.
It can be a bit tedious to go through all the steps and determine pipelines, applications, interview scorecards. We've also had some technical issues that are taking a long time to solve.
Breezy is solving our organization which is multi-site keep the recruiting process moving and allowing hiring managers to move quickly through the hiring process.
Breezy is capable of doing almost every "HR related" task all in one place and it even automates a lot of the tasks! It makes it very easy to see all applicants for each position and to move them from one stage to the next, making sure that "no one gets lost" or "slips through the cracks". The automation allows you to save time on the trivial and use the time at reviewing and interviewing the candidates. Once it's all set-up and you have a little time to use and work with it, it's so simple, effective and efficient! The customer service folks were very friendly and helpful, and my "account manager" was very responsive in helping me troubleshoot and get things up and running.
This isn't a "dislike" per se, but it does take a while to set everything up and it's a bit of a learning curve because there are so many interconnected pieces. It was a little challenging figuring out where to start when it came to setting it up because so much depended on something else. While there were good step-by-step tutorials for individual tasks, it would have been helpful to have a "getting starting checklist", maybe even a few different versions, based on the needs and size of the company. There definitely was some "guessing" on my part to get it all set up and some of it was a bit counterintuitive. I also didn't like that Indeed didn't "play well" with Breezy, although I am fairly sure that it wasn't Breezy's fault. Just stay on top of it the first time you activate jobs to make sure Indeed approves and links your ATS to your Indeed account.
It houses everything-- application, references, applicant information, resumes-- all in one place, and everything is integrated together. It's saving me time on data management and giving me more time to find, interview and hire qualified folks! Automating the references and paperwork when folks get moved to different stages is SO efficient!
We can tailor Breezy to our needs. It's great!
I wish that there was more in-person support offered on the lower business levels
Organization, helping with KPIs; it's making us efficient.
I like the ease of use of the ATS. One of the key features I like is the Kanban-style view of candidates in the various swimlanes. It helps provide an easy view of where candidates are in the process. One of the only ATS platforms I've seen that offers this view.
It's a very economic platform. The only portion I do not like is the incremental pieces you have to buy to get what you need but this makes more sense when you're a smaller company to buy for what you need I guess.
Again, the ease of use and quick ability to amend our processes with ease is a game changer. I've worked with larger ATS which made it incredibly hard for any type of quick modifications.
its so easy to use, very intuitive and practical
it has failed several times recently for all app
it helps me a lot for the administration of candidates as well as seeing ther evaluations
I have utilized the Start-Up Breezy program and particularly like the hiring phases and quizzes. I enjoy how I can hide and activate application factors like education, experience, and cover letter. Its "read" option is fantastic. These tools keep my recruiting cycles structured and effective, and they help me make the most of my work. It's revolutionary to be clickable on a candidate and get their contact details as well as the jobs they registered for. Moving applicants through the recruiting process is fairly simple, and the possible automation at various phases of the recruiting process saves HR managers considerable time by eliminating so much email.
The calendar links irritate me since they offer few possibilities. e.g., when one of the recruiting managers is available at various times throughout the day, Breezy schedule connections do not enable such flexibility. Every day, they just let me limit time by the hours. It must be configured for hours at a stretch on all days. HR managers don't have the kind of accessibility; rather, their presence fluctuates depending on the hour and days. For all recruiting directors to be allowed to synchronize their calendar access and create their unique availability times, I had to obtain a Calendly service. It's one solution, but it'd be much better if Breezy modified the calendar links to look very much like Calendly.
Breezy HR is assisting our two-person HR staff in staying organized, optimizing our work, and getting more effective. We want automation solutions like those provided by Breezy, or we will lose expertise and lose control of all the variations that take place during recruiting cycles. Breezy enables it simple to work with other employees of a recruiting team. Breezy HR has enabled us to streamline our interview practices, allowing us to provide a better applicant experience and make better data-driven recruiting choices.
Breezy lets me organize my candidates and have the hiring managers on the same page.
I wish each candidate had more of a profile and more detailed history. It's there but there's a bit if clicking and no great summary page.
Having all my candidates in an area
The best part of Breezy is that it is constantly evolving. Since I first started using in Q4 2021, many things have changed. New customizable features allow recruitment teams to deploy process improvements seamlessly.
We have submitted a few requests to improve the parsing software (from CV to applicants' bio), as well as an improved email console that can "undo" emails sent by mistake.
We have been able to streamline our recruitment process, automating previously-manual tasks, while keeping the right customization options, making communication between the company and candidates feel closer and more humane.
I have used quite a few applicant tracking systems, and BreezyHR is the best I have found for our medium-sized business (50-200 employees). It is user-friendly both from an admin and user standpoint. It has so many integrations (Slack, Indeed, etc.). Also, the customization and automation features are great for talent acquisition in this crazy market. My favorite part is the customizable careers page. I was able to make it look legit without any web design skills. The cherry on top is the affordability of the platform! BreezyHR is the best bang for your buck for small/medium businesses.
You don't get HRIS integration or unlimited SMS unless you upgrade to the highest plan, and for our company, it's not worth the jump in price just to add these features. Also, sometimes there are minor glitches with the employee portal (just when people are first setting it up). Also, when trying to pull reporting for previous jobs (time to hire, etc.) you must first change all the jobs to "draft" stage, which causes reporting to be a lengthy process.
BreezyHR has helped make our recruiting process more efficient, and in this market, speed is the name of the game. BreezyHR has also allowed us to standardize our interview processes, which allows for a better candidate experience and more data-driven hiring decisions. Together these things have enabled us to bring on top talent and help our business thrive!
Breezy HR has streamlined our recruiting process and helped automate the process immensely from what we had previously.
Getting all users to be consistent in regards to settings and including notes as necessary has been our biggest challenge.
The Breezy HR technology has been incredible. Specifically, the mobile app and the ability to email or text directly with the candidates have been a huge improvement.
the plataforms that is very friendly, the support team is very efficient
I have a hard time to find how to customized
Is easier to work for our open positions, we are getting to know if is a good match this month.
Love the functionality of storing resumes, moving through training and also template features. Discussion with other teammates is very helpful as well.
The cap on SMS messages. Candidates often have a lot of questions and this number is met very early on and holds us back.
Sending important info via email and SMS so candidates, having set templates and automated messages. Tracking progress and messages for the team across markets.
I like that it gathers all my applications in one place, allows me to create a custom pipeline, and helps us optimize our recruitment processes. Having access to an account manager is a great asset.
The fact that I can't look up candidates once.I have a position open. Instead, I have to go to "candidates" and look there. I understand it's an upselling technique, but it's frustrating
We've solved having to post to keep track of our applicants manually, Breezy automated that for us. Moreover; it helped us save time and ensure follow-ups are done appropriately through the automation we've put in place
The best feature is that we get the CV's emailed to us, so if breezys down or we are having problems they are easy to locate
The downsides are sometimes its been a few days for a job advert to go up ,which can slow down our recruitment process
The problems we were having was the amount of candidates we was getting just using indeed but now we get more as they use different platforms
Breezy has a friendly interface that helps include more people in hiring processes; Great auto-schedule tools integrated with Google Meets and Zoom; Beautiful home page for posting job positions; It's possible to customize each position whenever you like; You can write e-mails to candidates and communicate with the hiring team all in one place; They collect feedback and feature requests act quickly towards fixing bugs. Customer service is great; You can send offer letters straight from the tool; You have the opportunity to set auto messages and automatic actions for each stage.
Breezy has a few downsides, which doesn't prevent you from doing good at recruitment but makes it harder for you to make it great, such as: You're unable to use different scorecards to different stages of your process; UX could be improved to help organize templates for e-mails and other points of contact with candidates (i.e. you are unable to see the entire title of a template) Could improve in permissions, you either see everything of a position - including receiving all the e-mails from the job - or seeing too little; It lacks a Linkedin recruiter integration - it's been developed for about two years now; Reporting is not very helpful. It would be great to be able to build your own reports; Some of the job boards integrations makes it harder for candidates to apply;
Breezy is quite helpful in making all information around recruiting processes in one place. Managing positions within Breezy is very easy. You can collect applications, create automatic filters, review candidates, message, schedule (or let candidates schedule their interviews), register your assessments about each candidate, give candidates feedback or send offer letters. These tools help save a lot of time.
