I like the way teams can review candidates and have discussions in the app. I like the emailing system. It's pretty useful.
I would like to use the tool to pull more useful data to track our performance.
Well, we have hired a lot of people. So thats a benefit.
The intuitive design where everything is placed in the right spot
How little flexibility they offer with templates and processes. and the worst part is the API access
It allows me to help candidates find great jobs.
Lot of detailed options / functions. Also various buckets to classify available candidates.
Down loading of attachments was not so straight forward.
trying to sort specific candidates with specified skills.
Pricing - they are priced per position and not applicant
It doesn't scale well, does not have workflow designs.
Hiring of contractors. Breezy has organized our recruitment process - it integrates with our internal systems and thus provides a great summary of our pipeline.
The pipeline methodology and the automatic reception of applications
Bottoms does not work all the time when I try to change the applicant status
Application receptions
I like the swim lanes. It allows managing recruitment kinda like an it project which is nice
I would like a shortcut button to the pipelines. It probably exists and I just havent found it yet
organized recruiting process
The support staff are pretty quick to respond in comparison to the support staff of other online products.
I severely dislike that we can't contact candidates unless the position is active (although I think I'm realizing that there's a difference between "Active" and "Open" so I may be taking this back soon).
Hopefully candidates will receive emails that don't just go straight to their junk mail.
The drag-and-drop abilities make for easy communication with other hiring managers on how far in the interview process applicants have gotten. Also, being able to drill down quickly into cover letters, resumes, and other documents on the same applicant page saves time.
User privileges (particularly what internal titles have the ability to move candidates along in the system) can be a bit confusing.
Keeping track of applicants at each stage of the interview process.
I really appreciated the ease of posting a job on breezy. It was procedural like other ATS systems, but I like that it kept sections in different tabs.
Currently, we are moving away from breezy because it is not meeting our needs of tracking the high volume of applicants coming in. We need a system that has more compatibility with google apps, and that can do a lot of communication within the actual system.
Breezy is good for a company that is just starting out that needs something to just have a place to keep applicants. It doest that well and has a very clean look to it.
It definitely helped us manage candidates (and we are small team, only hiring for 3 positions) easier than using a spreadsheet. I like that there's video interviewing (although we didn't take advantage of that) and that you can set up automatic triggers for email templates when candidates move from one stage to another in the hiring pipeline. The customer support was very responsive as well.
I dislike that there is very little customization available. For example, the career portal is very limited in what we can tweak. They also allow tags, but it doesn't really help to tag candidates if you can't sort the candidates by that specific tag. And the software is a little slow, it takes a while for different screens and popups to show.
Keeping track of our candidates at a reasonable price point. There are definitely better ATS tools out there, but the better ones are more expensive.
The pipeline is very useful and it's very easy to use and move around for different job post.
The one thing I don't like about it is when I review resumes, it is very slow to load.
Having all candidate information at one location.
I like that Breezy has the $49/month for 3 active slots to allocate as you see fit. That meets our business needs very well. Workable used to have that and when they changed their pricing to $50/posting it was an easy decision to get rid of them. In general, the postings to the free job boards has brought is good candidates.
The UI is not as intuitive as other competing services and the company job board / postings dont look at good. The mobile site is not very useful, and the fact that you have to go into the site to respond to an email is not ideal. Overall, despite these shortcomings, it still works pretty well though.
Filling positions without paying recruiters.
Automations are quite useful and the scoring mechanics help our team filter candidates faster.
Sometimes the interface can feel a bit clumsy, leading me to refreshing the page to clean up the state. Also, sometimes the interface was different for two different users on the same page, with the same account role.
Our hiring is faster and more efficient now. Some edges need some trimming, the software can be more responsive, but it does the job nicely.
At first I loved the simplicity and drag and drop "kanban" feature of the job view. Great filtering on the candidate views The quick actions on the candidate views are very useful. I found the candidate details view one of the nicest that I have tested. Everything is in one place. The set-up of their career portal is easy and intuitive and offers the most extensibility of all that I have tested.
I would have preferred more filtering options for the vacancy view. The vacancy view does not give enough information for me on the status of a vacancy. It would be good to see where in the pipeline the vacancy is. Lacks some of the interview assistance tools that some of its peers offers.
Trying to shorten the recruitment process. Trying to manage the hiring teams better.
I like being able to see more functionality in reviewing candidates. Everything is right there - coming from Formstack it's much more visually appealing.
I don't like how it's hard to decipher if you've turned down a candidate. It can be hard to tell when you have done that.
We are trying to find great candidates to help our teams at home function better. We have a lot of applicants come in, so it can be challenging to balance it all.
Pricing is great! Love the integrations with recruiting platforms
Needs a huge rebuild of "Quick Review" for candidates The concept of "rejecting" a candidate needs to get added (reject in any stage and that becomes the new state for the candidate) Slow customer support
We needed a robust and cheap recruitment manager. It is cheap.
Nice consolidated view of the pipeline and easy coordination across teams
I wish it integrated better with failing people at different stages of pipeline
It helps coordinate across teams
Easy to use, uploads applicant documents.
Nothing specific so far, it's a very good applicant management system.
It has saved time reviewing applications.
There are several other application with similar features and design. They all make recruiting flow much easier, totally worth it. What i liked most about Breezy comparing to all the others is that Breezy has mobile application and reasonable price.
Maybe it's just me, it user interface might suit better for people who got used to use Trelo. I don't, so i prefer different design. The biggest turn off is that it doesn't have apply with LinkedIn option.
Collaborative, well organized, efficient recruiting process. It does solve the problem.
Breezy streamlines our recruiting pipeline, offers valuable visibility and simple but powerful communication capabilities. We are engaged, as a recruiting team, and feel more capable of providing a positive candidate/interview experience. Since we've been using Breezy, functionality continues to grow, adding and improving valuable features. Great work, Breezy!
Excited to see reporting feature improvements.
With Breezy we have streamlined our process (eliminated bottlenecks in communication with candidates and increased internal communications as a hiring team). As a hiring team, we're more focused on refining our job descriptions/requirements and the metrics we use to measure a candidate's fit to find the best possible hire.
