Bullhorn seems to be one of the more robust CRMs in the market right now. Easily track applicants and clients with their software. Very easy to use.
Due to the legacy technology it was built upon, I've noticed that sometimes Bullhorn moves a bit slower than I'd like
Bullhorn helped me easily keep track of the sales process for our clients and prospective clients.
I like being able to use multiple tabs at once, and adding notes that keep information consistent.
The platform malfunctions sometimes, and if you want to open another candidate's page, it replaces the current one open. Also works a bit too slow sometimes.
Solving recruitment inconsistencies and collaboration models. Able to update your colleagues on current processes. Also solves legalities surrounding having candidate and client information on the database.
I like the easy use tool features. When I was being trained on it I found it very easy to understand the features and what not.
I didn't like that this was able to be used by all departments because it was not customizable to specific needs
He were tracking projects with in the company and also houses a running list of our clients, SOWs, MNDAs, and company contacts
It's fairly easy to navigate, the tearsheet function makes it really easy to keep track of candidates with certain skillsets in certain areas, and the mass mail function makes sending out emails extremely fast and easy.
Candidate search function could be better - you don't always find people who match your search string.
We use it as a way to keep all of the recruiters on our team informed of what each other has been focusing on that day, what candidates they've contacted, and progress they're making on open reqs.
It is easy to enter candidate contact information and notes in the system. Also easy and user-friendly to track candidates progress in the interview process from a surface-level
Hard to manage tasks and create a to-do list in the system
Able to more accurately report candidates across the board for the office staff and management.....realized that the data translates more effectively in Excel and it is easy view and understand
Nice user interface. Very simple and intuitive.
It has some bugs that I did not expect. A bit limited in it's functionality from what I thought but you can add 3rd party solutions.
Simplicity. Previous system was VERY complicated.
Bullhorn is pretty much the industry standard for CRM's. It has many, many features, a powerful ability to search the database, and a robust ability to accept add-on products like Ebsta. Email integration, candidate sharing, and most other functions are easy to find and implement, and customization options within fields are plentiful.
Customer Service is hard to reach and slow to respond, the size of the company and the extent of the software makes bugs fairly frequent, and relatively slow to fix. Some fields are hard to alter. Data migration from a previous database can be a dicey affair.
CRM's are the core of any recruitment firm, thus, they're essential to the smooth functioning the business. Bullhorn was much faster to pick up and understand for new hires, allowing time to train to be quicker and more efficient. Documents are searchable, allowing for more targeted searching. Bullhorn CRM"s enormous variety of customization options available to the end-user allows us to tailor the experience to each user's needs, whether they be Talent Sourcing, Recruiting, Or Business Development
Parses resumes well, easy interface and easy to understand how to get to different functionalities. Good on analytics. It uploads resumes pretty well unless they are PDFs. There is an easy to use email address that you can send any resumes to in order for them to parse - so that makes that step quick and easy.
There are some redundant steps. Uploading documents takes an extra steps and you can only upload one at once. It takes a while to load. There are manual steps that I wish were automated and it has a lot of pop ups with different steps that you need to then close. The search function isn't great - if I want to find candidates, I usually search in linkedin and just check the "in our database box". It should notify you when something like candidate name doesn't parse correctly - but it doesn't, so if you don't catch that, you'll lose the candidate.
It provides a strong database for thousands of candidates. It does a good job of tracking and analytics. However I'm on the recruiter and account manager side, so I am more interested in it's search capabilities rather than analytics.
Integration with Gmail. Database searches. Customer support.
Would like to have more ways to slice and dice the database.
Business problem: finding candidates with specific skill-sets and background.
I like how many features are available. I like the resume parser for faster resume additions.
I feel the product could be more user-friendly when doing functions.
I solve problem with keeping track of people that go with each position. I work a lot of them and when proper work flow is used, it makes life simpler.
User friendly, voice to text feature while you’re on the road, and building reports.
Some basic functions such as renaming files or deleting/uploading them is not as quick and sometimes have to do it a couple of times.
Which area of the business we are struggling in and who needs more training. From the variety of reports you can create, you can access any type of information you need.
Bullhorn is very user friendly and easy to use.
Bullhorn doesn't tend to catch all duplicate candidates, which can be confusing.
We are not experiencing any major problems. We have realized better candidate tracking.
Tracking and adding candidates and jobs in this CRM is easy. The UI is friendly and makes sense
Internal searching for candidates is not ideal. We have some software that does not integrate well and does not load but other software does
We use bullhorn for applicant and position tracking. Also, candidate inventory and information storage
Iveused it for 10 years. I really like the functionality of it and the accessibility.
Nothing I can think of. They’ve had a lot of updates that I really like.
It is pretty functional for what we need.
Bullhorn has smart Integration to pertinent software apps
Bullhorn has a higher cost than their competitors
It provides our recruiting department a centralized software to maximize standard processes.
It has most all of the features we need...candidate module, client contact module, client company module, job req module, etc. Has a number of helpful integrations...to background checks, references, tech screens, and job postings.
The systems does not "flow" the way we expect or would like. Seems kind of "clunky". Also, there is no mobile app (they do have a mobile version of their online portal...but we would have preferred an actual app).
Tracking all of our recruiting and sales activity.
Its has a great shortlist functionality we use a lot for talent pools. Also, it is not overly complex. East to use note and attachment functionality for each consultant record. Their new Sourcing Center is an improvement to database searching and display,
Adequate timely and on-the-mark support and help desk is a reoccurring issue.
We need access to shortlists or talent pools and we also need a system thats is straight forward as far as database searching for consultants.
easy of use, ability to customize for each users preference. Great for creating customizable reports for jobs/candidates/other factors in tracking performance.
speed is an issue, when multiple tabs or features are open or if too many users are logged in it can be slower then normal.
ability to create a pool of candidates that is accurate and easily accessible.
Bullhorn has the functionality to meet all our recruiting, sales and payroll needs.
Performing keyword searches in the database is not useful. It uses AI and makes assumptions on your keywords, i.e.: if I am searching for a C developer, it will also show .NET developers because C and .NET are both Microsoft technologies.
Bullhorn generally meets our applicant and client tracking and commission reporting.
I like the fact that the software is cloud based and accessible from any device. It is also fairly intuitive and looks like a modern piece of software.
There are a number of aspects of the platform that I wish offered more customization for our firm. I think the sales and project management teams treat each client like a generic engagement without taking time to understand the firms processes or desires with the system. Many of the examples during training and offerings of the system were directed toward contingent, contract staffing firms instead of retained.
Candidate and client relationship management and recruiting for a retained search firm.
I like that it tracks every interaction I make with both clients and candidates. It has a great candidate search tool and high end technology. The screens are easy to read and finding people is very simple. For some items, I like customization to my needs - in some ways a positive and in others a negative. Technical support is usually great (I had a few problems with people giving me different info on a problem) but they speak excellent English, have long hours and can generally solve the problem or they will figure it out and get back to you. Support also has the ability to get on to my screen and take a look or fix an issue, which I love! They also offer online chat now, which you can use instead of calling.
Several new updates they have done that look great are now only available in the enterprise version, which is very irritating for me. I pay a lot of money for this software and would like the ability to use the productgs in a small shop. It took a lot of time and effort to customize the product to fit my needs - it is always a work in progress. The reporting and goal setting could be much better and the ability to track analytics.
CRM to track every interaction, quick response for both clients and candidates
Bullhorn makes it really easy to parse in new candidates and client information, all without tedious external options. With the new features like planner and tasks, it's easy to stay-up-to-date with communication efforts and events.
The software is a little clunkly, and although it's a newer version, it seems a bit outdated. While the platform is web-based, it fails to run smoothly through a mobile platform, and often times, the loading times are a little sluggish.
Recording necessary information to ensure that all previous phone calls, notes, emails, are safely and accurately reported for future reference. It makes all future candidates much easier to screen. With the new laws set to take place, regarding salary history, Bullhorn makes it easier to negotiate for proper salary offers.
Being in sales I like the cloud call feature.
Allot of clicking to add notes and information.
Cold calling has become much easier using the cloud call tool.
The ability to send emails out to candidates
Continually getting logged out of the system
Staffing positions
That's its user Friendly and I can easily get the reports i need
I can't think of anything that I dislike
We are able to staff opportunities quicker and create tearsheets with the most in demand technology to proactively recruit
Ability to customize for business needs is huge for any organization.
We recently signed up for a new tool (Canvas) and its difficult to get support. There are not enough people on the help desk that have the knowledge to help with the tool.
We have been able to streamline the posting process, limited the amount of internal papers we were previously using. The ability to have all your data in one place is huge.
Having it as a medium to organize my consultants
When it does not work properly. I often have issues locating people in bullhorn when I search by name
organization
Jobscience integrates with so many of my organization's systems. It was a large additional fee, though we can now write offer letters in just a few minutes.
Jobscience is sometimes too complicated. You can customize it a lot to your needs, though their Help Desk doesn't always understand the nuances .
The data possibilities with Jobscience are incredible!
The candidate search functionality is the product's primary strength with the ability to share information and collaborate a close second.
I wish the reporting was usable and that the product allowed for exporting and importing 3rd party data similar to products being rolled out here in 2017.
Ability to search your candidates.
Customizable and highly searchable. Keep discovering new ways to filter out what I'm looking for.
Not the most user friendly. Somewhat of a learning curve to get to know the searching capabilities. Not a lot of automation offered.
Works well with Agency recruiting firms where there are a high number of recruiters working in the same candidate pool. Lot of collaborative tools. Captures a lot of data for stat tracking.
