I run a recruitment agency, that has historically used an old and dated recruitment CRM with limited ATS functionality. Moving to Jobscience has given me the ability to use a truly mobile platform which can be accessed anywhere, even using android / iPhone apps. it means that notes can be added on client site to the right records, it means that more data is entered in the right place accurately, and it has a really powerful search engine built in to enable fast and effective searching for candidates.
To administer this system, you need to be a relative expert on the Salesforce.com platform. I had never used Salesforce before, so had a very steep learning curve, however the beauty of this is that I can customise anything and everything I like to fit our processes.
Upgrading from an old system means we are now able to integrate new technologies into the system using the appexchange (such as Docusign, Drawloop, etc), we can find and keep track of candidates and clients faster and more effectively, and we can take better client briefs faster onsite with the client, and it will automatically be shared with the team, posted on the website, and autosearches run at the click of a button.
It is straight forward to use. Being not the most technical person around I found it easy to pick up. The easiest thing for our business in that it is fully integrated with Salesforce, therefor it is easy for us to connect it to our +People application.
There's not much I dislike with the system, I think the main reason is that I don't fully utilize all of its functions.
The main benefit is that we have full visability of all candidates and it is easy to transition successful candidates to employees on the HR system.
Our org has used 4 CRM/ATS products. None of them were able to handle the type of functionality that Jobscience offers... they are in a different league.
There are occasionally things that require attention, however, the JS team is super open to taking recommendations and incorporating the fixes or suggestions into future releases... and they REALLY DO IT!
Reporting is FAR superior to any other product out there. Automation and scalability is at another level. No other product on the market can customize or automate like the Jobscience platform.
When we were starting out and very green with Salesforce they were key to helping us understanding the platform we chose. We have some specialized workflows and needs that deviate from most of their other customers but they worked very well with us on understanding what can be changed to suit our needs or what we would need to adapt to. Them helping us get started on the platform was very helpful in making this rollout very smooth. They have been very attentive to what we want and how we can get it done. They are quick to reply and check in with us quarterly to see how we are doing and offer to help us with working on marketing.
We do have customized processes and as such their user manuals are not very helpful for our users. Almost none of the standard manuals are useful for us. They have assigned us a new account representative and he was not very well versed in our platform and customizations. The same also happened with support, initial contact with support usually requires us to tell them that our instance is different than normal and what they recommend will not work.
We had a paper process before with a old system that was not nimble. The old system had not been upgraded in 13 years and was showing its problems. Reports had to be generated by a database administrator and training people was time consuming. Now people can do all applications online so no need for paper forms, people do not need to transcribe the forms and reports can be generated as needed. We have seen over 400% increase in applicants since we started the new system and people joining us from the system is up more than 200%.
I love the design and functionality of Bullhorn, it is very easy to use and learn.
Nothing specific comes to mind. Bullhorn is constantly updating and adding more tools that can enhance your experience.
We have a pretty large database of applicants, and the availability of tools to further dig in to our pool of candidates is incredible.
Has a very friendly UI that is easy to use and intuitive. Anyone who has used a CRM of any kind will be able to quickly navigate through the tool with very little training. Well thought out process flow and control. Decent reporting, amazing search capabilities.
I really can't think of anything I don't like about it. It did take a little time to figure out the process work flow, but it was easily learned.
We needed a way to store leads in our system and follow them through into real opportunities and then deals. It has really helped us do that. Now if a lead is not good, we don't have to clutter our database with that company or the contacts.
The software functions as a recruiter works and thinks. Technical support is excellent. Implementation was easy and smooth. Very user friendly.
Nothing. Software is excellent. Support of the product is also excellent.
Workflows are easy to follow and promote collaboration. Ongoing innovations and enhancements to the software. Offers the features recruiters need such as Outlook integration, email tracking, flexible workflows, candidate portal, mobile access, client submittals, etc. Makes it convenient for recruiters to access from anywhere.
The personal service and follow up from the sales staff, training staff and project manager. The pricing structure was very affordable. The system has well thought out features that do create efficiencies. Being able to have a help desk walk you through questions or concerns is also a solid feature. Self help presentations as well as videos that walk you through features of the system.
We have had the system for close to 90 days and the only feature I have found to dislike is if you make an error in the selection of a sales status the admin has to change it back. Currently, our sales team has had no other issues or concerns.
We have realized the following Accurate reporting Projected sales figures of outstanding proposals Easy access No longer using spreadsheets for tracking
The ability to sink media lists and update contacts across different teams. It's much more time efficient to update a contact on Bullhorn than to go searching through different excels.
The system sometimes freezes my google chrome and needs to be restarted.
We're able to outreach to contacts more effectively
Because Jobscience sits on the Salesforce Force.com platform, it is easily the most flexible and easily customised e-Recruitment solution I have used. Do you want to add fields? change their layout? create a customised application or registration process? All these can be done with ease on Jobscience and do not require a strong technical background.
Jobscience is missing some of the more powerful features that are common in e-Recruitment systems today. The largest omission is the lack of a interview scheduling a booking system. That being said, Jobscience is constantly being enhanced and such gaps are sure to be filled in the near future.
I consult with clients on delivering Jobscience and ensuring they get the most out of it for their business. Our clients are mainly in the Recruitment Agency sector. Jobscience allows me to apply a core set of recruitment functions for front and back office but apply customisation that allows our clients to make the system work the way they do rather than the other way around.
